Location is excellent you can walk just about anywhere there’s great restaurants and shops all around. I found the room very clean. The service was great and the staff was wonderful.

Hotel situato in una posizione eccellente, a due passi da Puerta del Sol e vicino alle principali attrazioni turistiche raggiungibili a piedi. Abbiamo alloggiato in famiglia in una stanza pulita con letti molto confortevoli. La presenza dei doppi vetri alle finestre ha salvaguardato il nostro riposo notturno nonostante Calle Victoria sia piuttosto rumorosa tutto il giorno. Consigliato!

Great hotel close to the city center and scads of restaurants. The hotel was quiet in spite of the multitudes outside of the building. Free breakfast buffet was delicious and convenient. Lovely accordion player outside when our shutters were wide open. WiFi was sketchy tho.

The upside; fairly decent hotels in a very well situated spot. Great neighborhood with a lot of night life. The downside; staff was far from warm. Not hostile but almost. They could use some training in how to be more welcoming. The room barely had any available outlets for charging devices. I literally had to move furniture around to find one outlet. Then we had to take turns charging phones overnight. Not something I would expect in this day and age.

It was basic and had 4 twin beds to accommodate a family of 4. We pushed 2 together for the adults and trenagers didn’t have to share. Room was very small but it’s an older bldg, so didn’t expect much.

We are Air conditioning lovers, and this hotel had excellent AC. Centrally located to metro and short walking distances to many of the popular tourist spots. The staff was excellent and accommodations comfortable. The next time I am back in Madrid this is my place to stay.

Nice hotel right in the heart of Madrid. From the moment we arrived the front desk staff was excellent. They told us great places to eat, gave us a map of the city showing the location of of the major attractions, and arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport when we were ready to leave. This is a great location if you want to walk around the city and see the sights and hear the sounds. The room was comfortable and included all of the essentials.

This is a perfect location to explore central Madrid. The world class art museums and the city's famous plazas are all within walking distance. The neighborhood -- including Calle de la Victoria -- is full of restaurants. The reception staff all spoke English and were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. We enjoyed our street-view room and were lulled to sleep by the sounds of music and people happily dining in the street below. Anyone sensitive to sound can ask for a room on the other side. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends.

Aside from the one person at checkin, the rest of staff cared less for your presence. The nights were anything but quiet. The window would not lock or close properly, so the noise from the revelers on the street kept me and my family awake until 3:30 am, every night. Hotel manager was rude, and reminded me multiple times in a conversation that he was the manager. Never staying here again. Location has much potential, but attitude of the staff, starting with the manager doesn’t make it worthwhile. Plenty of better options to choose from. And i will in the future.

Hotel de difícil locomoção para o hóspede que vai com malas, pois a rua onde ele se localiza é intransitável para carros, o que torna a chegada e saída com malas algo muito cansativo.Pessoal da recepção com pouco ou nenhuma receptividade dependendo da nacionalidade do turista, sentimos na pele a falta de atenção e prestatividade desde que fizemos o check in. Apenas no check out tivemos a ajuda do recepcionista Rubens, esse foi o único que nos ajudou neste hotel. Não recomendo.

The location of the hotel was ideal for walking and dining. The room was nothing special but sufficient for our stay. Lots of noise and pre-game singing by the Madrid soccer fans drinking outside the bar across from the hotel into the wee hours.

This is a perfect location to explore central Madrid. The world class art museums and the city's famous plazas are all within walking distance. The neighborhood -- including Calle de la Victoria -- is full of restaurants. The reception staff all spoke English and were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel is very well located in terms of proximity to the Puerta del Sol Metro, and very walkable to the royal palace in one direction and the Prado in the other. However, the hotel is in a largely pedestrian zone, so taxis taking me to the hotel did not stop in right in front of it. I had to find my own way with baggage. The room was basic and has not been updated in a while. There was no plugs near the bed to charge my devices. The area is very noisy long into night, with young people whooping it up. The staff was very helpful. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I would not stay here again.

La ubicación del hotel es genial, cerca al metro y bares y restaurantes. En el buffet de desayuno hay cosas para mejorar como las máquinas de café, una estaba rota así que se formó larga espera para un café. Igual que el dispensador del agua, tampoco funcionó. En general al hotel le hace falta una reforma para mejorar las instalaciones.

Great location near Sol metro stop. Filling breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, pastries, fruit, coffee, sliced ham and cheese, rolls, bread, etc. We faced the street and it was rather loud until the wee hours of the morning. Ask for a room in the back if you need quiet. There was only liquid soap so be sure to bring shampoo, soap, and conditioner. Many great tapas places nearby (Cafe Toni and Bar Restaurante Del Abuelo). The lobby and sitting area could use some updating. It’s rather drab and 1970s ish. Other than that, it was a great stay. Thank you to Adrian and all those at the front desk for taking care of us!!

This hotel was great for location, really central and right in the centre which was what we wanted. Our room was to the side street which unfortunately had a bar that was open till about 4am with lots of noise and the room does not have soundproofing so sleep was a bit of an issue. A couple a nights would be all you work want here. The hotel needs some updating the floors look in need of repair in the bedroom and the breakfast area. The breakfast was ok, not loads of choice but enough for us. We booked half board so had an evening dinner as well, Thai was provided at the restaurant next door however I would not recommend this. You have to eat in doors because you are on the check set menu and if you eat meat it’s the cheapest meat. Not yet best meals. We decided on the 3rd night to go elsewhere. This hotel is fine for a short stopover but I wouldn’t want to stay longer than our 3 nights.

Breakfast was served at a reataurant a couple of doors away. Able to order off a menu, a nade ti order breakfast. Was excellent. Small older hotel but in good condition. The Accessible room was a little tight with my mobility scooter. Bathroom was wheelchair accessible, however it needs grab bars by the shower stall and along the larger wetroom shower. Stall and the tile floor were very slippery when wet.
