Amazing booking in was fast Maddie was very friendly. We went to there restaurant for tea the meal was delicious the only complaint was the wine we drink Merlo and they only had Merlo Cabernet which was fine but you could only buy the bottle $110 not by the glass. The waiter's all very very friendly would stay there again.

Doubletree Hilton is a lovely hotel. As you enter the building you can smell the baked welcome cookies which are delicious and a lovely touch. Excellent service with welcoming staff. I arrived early so my room wasnt quite ready so I sat by the fire place and enjoyed a drink while I waited. My room was very clean and presented well. Bathroom is modern and very functional. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice stay and convenient to restaurant's and facilities. However the pillows were terrible and as we had a four night stay the cleaners didn't vacuum the floor the whole time we were there. Also did like the liquid soap in the bathroom.

DoubleTree’s location is convenient esp if you’re joining group tours. Pick up and drop off points are just around the corner. I liked the breakfast buffet too, and they were kind enough to create a breakfast box since I left early for my tour. Check-in was convenient. Shoutout to Faith who warmly assisted me from my arrival until my departure. The only thing I didn’t like about my room is that the pillows smelled like sweat, it kinda felt moldy too in the room ‘cause I kept on sneezing whenever I was in the room. My body knows when such conditions exist ‘cause it really triggers a reaction.

Good sized room and bathroom, lovely staff particularly at the front desk. Unfortunately the wifi was down for the entire hotel for half of my stay, and not everything was cleaned thoroughly - one of the glasses had lip marks on it when I arrived. Overall a comfortable stay close to amenities.

Fantastic location and wonderful, friendly, genuine service from all staff members. Only issues I had were that the pillows were not very comfortable- which is a personal preference, but feel a range of pillow selections would be great. There was also no extra blanket in the room and being Melbourne, it was a bit cold overnight. Not sure if this is something I could have asked for though. Would definitely stay again though as the staff actually made you feel very welcome and even on check out were super friendly and helpful.

The location is superb . Free tram city around the corner . Train across the street . Graveyard alley is a few steps away. Chinatown was walking distance . We loved Southbank which is just behind the train station . 👏👏👏

Lovely friendly staff greeted us on our arrival with a delicious walnt choc chip cookie. Clean, tidy room but felt a little small (especially bathroom) compared to other hotels weve stayed in for the same price. Big, comfortable bed which was much appreciated after sttending a concert. Shame room services stops early as we would liked to have taken advantage of it when we got back. Brilliant, tasty and generous buffet breakfast!

Staff , foyer and adjoining restaurant were very warm and welcoming. Breakfast buffet more than ample with lots of hot and cold food and drinks. Dinner menu was a little Nouvelle Cuisine, not very filling , but lovely presentation and delicious. Our only criticisms are that the photos of the room online we had are deceiving in that it was way smaller than we had expected. Bed does not face television and the bathroom has one short towel rack so not wide enough to hang one wet towel let along a second . More for the single overnight business person than a three night couple stay .

Our stay was wonderful for the location we needed to attend an event at Rod Laver Arena. We found the staff at Doubletree to be very helpful, professional, polite and friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean. We also enjoyed a tasty buffet breakfast.

It’s fine for what it is; affordable room in central location, clean and nice enough. Bed was super comfortable and room was quiet, we slept well. Nice bathroom, great shower. Night manager was friendly and accomodating when we found an issue with the room. There was a gentleman at reception who was also great. Breakfast was lacklustre but we are particularly fussy when it comes to food. Outside on the street is gross, especially in the evening, a lot of people up to no good. Would stay again though.
