Very good value for money. Room is small, and shows some signs of wear and tear, but very, very clean. Bed comfortable. Housekeeping staff did a great job. Parking is not great- even when booking, very limited for anything over a small car (only 4 spots for suvs - my rav4 was unable to fit when the 4 “big spots” were already full one night). I would stay here again- for the price it’s good value.

Building is old, NO ELEVATOR FYI. Walls are very thin so you will hear everything. Had some very rowdy drunk folks on my floor who made noise for multiple nights in a row and even tried to get into my room. Staff is friendly and front desk is available 24/7. Cleaning comes every day except Sundays and holidays. WiFi is spotty and keeps logging me out, including becoming invalid before my stay. Got a new wifi code and it didn’t work either. Kitchen was convenient and location is excellent.

Reception staff very friendly. Room very clean - shower excellent, beds and pillows very comfortable. Location is sensational quick walk to trams, local shops, Victoria Market and even the CBD not too far away. Guest kitchen clean and well set out. Was just what was needed for an overnight stay to see a concert.

Great hotel. Nice room with additional bathroom and cupboard, including mini fridge. Air conditioning good. 20 minute walk to Melbourne City, free tram zone, Queen Victoria Markets. Safe area (I would walk back to the hotel after midnight each night from Melbourne City). The staff are friendly - they gave me additional towels when I needed them (as I did not use room service) and also lent me an umbrella on rainy days. The only negative is that the hotel does not have an elevator - so be prepared to walk up and down stairs. Next time I visit Melbourne, I would consider staying here again.

The hotel is very close to the city centre. With a bit of a stretch, it's even walkable. What's really close is the Queen Victoria Market! The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help. The room is basic but comfortable. Immaculately clean. The bathroom is huge with a good shower. I appreciated the environmentally friendly hints on the wall. I was happy and would definitely stay here again!

First time at the Miami and it was a good stay overall. Handy location and very easy access to/from the carpark. My only minor issues were noisy neighbours (the walls are thin!) and the fact my king bed was actually two singles pushed together - big no no. But I would stay again.

Great spot for a quick couple of nights, shower is a bit slippery and could be dangerous.. could really use non slip surfacing. Super comfy bed and pillows. Nice friendly people on the desk. Will definitely be back.

The attached cafe wasn't open at all, the local food options were expensive and not great. There's no elevator despite being such a large building and I was put on the third floor despite having a physical disability. (Luckily not wheelchair bound) Couldn't figure out how to get to the courtyard, could hear the room next to me go to the bathroom and see the light shining through behind the bathroom mirror from outside (assuming there used to be a window there before it was converted into two rooms there?) And one of my curtains was broken and wouldn't close properly, luckily I had a clothes peg with me and used that to close it together while I was there. Could hear the kitchen door constantly slamming, 3rd floor is loud with foot traffic and why is the communal kitchen up there? what about people with wheelchairs, what are they supposed to do?? Just not have access to some of the facilities offered? Staff however were lovely and helpful, allowed me to store my luggage before checking in and after, also very friendly. It's a bit far from things to be able to walk to anywhere worthwhile but tram lines are close by at least.

Nice relatively cheap place to stay. Only really used the room to sleep in. Room had a king bed that took up most of the space, bathroom looks to be renovated recently so that was nice. Lots of noise in the morning from traffic.

One of the staff sent me to the wrong floor for cutleries, then when he told me right floor the kitchen was closed for cleaning. He was not helpful at all. Even laughed and no apology, maybe hire better staff.

Fantastic service with 24-hour staff. So friendly and welcoming and always happy to help! A cute little room but with a massive comfortable bed, a nice shower and a little kitchenette. A short, easy walk from Southern Cross Station and a block away from the #57 tram into the city. I’d definitely stay again!

Had a good stay at the Miami hotel, staff were lovely and helpful and it was convenient to be able to leave luggage once checked out. The location is walkable into the city and easy to get to. The room itself is fairly basic but has everything needed for a few nights stay. I would recommend and would stay again.

Classic hotel with a vintage feel. While it’s slightly old and the walls are thin, the exceptional service from the staff made up for it. Good location on the CBD fringe, close enough to walk to Queen Victoria Market.

The attached cafe wasn't open at all, the local food options were expensive and not great. There's no elevator despite being such a large building and I was put on the third floor despite having a physical disability. (Luckily not wheelchair bound) Couldn't figure out how to get to the courtyard, could hear the room next to me go to the bathroom and see the light shining through behind the bathroom mirror from outside (assuming there used to be a window there before it was converted into two rooms there?) And one of my curtains was broken and wouldn't close properly, luckily I had a clothes peg with me and used that to close it together while I was there. Could hear the kitchen door constantly slamming, 3rd floor is loud with foot traffic and why is the communal kitchen up there? what about people with wheelchairs, what are they supposed to do?? Just not have access to some of the facilities offered? Staff however were lovely and helpful, allowed me to store my luggage before checking in and after, also very friendly. It's a bit far from things to be able to walk to anywhere worthwhile but tram lines are close by at least.

We found the Miami Hotel conveniently located on the edge of the city, close but quiet. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Would be very happy to recommend & would consider staying again in the future.

Excellent value hotel in North Melbourne close to Victoria Street coffee shops, restaurants and a tram stop with service to the city centre terminateing at Flinders Street Station for easy connections to the the rail network.

Great hotel. Nice room with additional bathroom and cupboard, including mini fridge. Air conditioning good. 20 minute walk to Melbourne City, free tram zone, Queen Victoria Markets. Safe area (I would walk back to the hotel after midnight each night from Melbourne City). The staff are friendly - they gave me additional towels when I needed them (as I did not use room service) and also lent me an umbrella on rainy days. The only negative is that the hotel does not have an elevator - so be prepared to walk up and down stairs. Next time I visit Melbourne, I would consider staying here again.

Reception staff very friendly. Room very clean - shower excellent, beds and pillows very comfortable. Location is sensational quick walk to trams, local shops, Victoria Market and even the CBD not too far away. Guest kitchen clean and well set out. Was just what was needed for an overnight stay to see a concert.

We like that the hotel has a big kitchen available for guests to use as well as a coin operated laundry. The staff is nice and helpful. I do not like the hotel insulation since you can gear noise from the street and in the hotel corridor. Moreover, the linen should be newer.

Nice and close to Queen Victoria Markets. There's public transport at either end of the street. It's very quiet. Having a laundry and kitchen also helps. Will definitely be back for another stay.

Couldn’t fault the Miami hotel at all!! Really lovely staff on arrival and throughout our stay. Couldn’t have asked for better. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was really comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Really nice room in a really good location for the price. Super easy to get the tram into the city or to walk to places too. The bed was huge and super comfortable. Kitchen was small and on the top floor shared by lots of rooms but it was never a problem. The washing machines were cash only which was a shame as there's not ATM nearby.
