It is a beautiful hotel boutique. The neighborhood is a bit poor and not that nice. Nothing to worry, but questionable. Rooms are very small, but cute. Missing a few key features in-room: safe, handcream, a steamer. Just a few things to make it more “boutique”. The breakfast included is very nice and good selection. Decor and ambiance of the hotel is nice.

The staff was amazing, super helpful and friendly. They have a luggage storage which is so convenient. You can leave your luggage at the property where it’ll be safe and secured prior/after checking in and checking out. Was advised by multiple locals that the area is not very safe and don’t recommend to walk in that area during the night time however a lot of popular locations are close by and walking distance.

Great place. They were able to take our luggage in early before our check in. The room was very clean. Definitely would come back. They also offer pick up and drop off services which I would recommend using.

Barcelona city centre near the Columbus Monument. A few minutes walk from La Rambla, metro, buses and boat trips. Warned to take precautions against pick pockets. Friendly reception, comfortable room and quality en-suite. No in room safe however. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Enjoyed the Hop On Hop Off City Tour, evening tour and show at Casa Batlló, visits to Nou Camp Museum, Guided Tour of Sagrada Familia, dancing outside the cathedral. Various breaks for drinks and tapas widely available. Recommend Bar Lobo

Our stay was very nice! The staff was friendly and helpful with storing our luggage. Breakfast is available depending on the package you purchase; otherwise, there is an additional fee. The property itself was very nice, and it does have an elevator. The location is close to La Rambla, which offers access to transportation services. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

The Hotel was located where we wanted to stay but a web search said it was a bad neighborhood. We did not find the location dangerous or bad. Quite the opposite we were within walking distance to everything we wanted to see or do. For a good price and great location we found the hotel awesome. It was clean, Staff were all friendly and very helpful. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel which we had a nice buffet breakfast every morning. Compared to the other hotels we looked at, at double the cost per night, we got 2 rooms for my wife and I and our to boys and it was worth it. We took advantage of the hotels pick-up at the airport and drop-off at our cruise ship service for the same cost as a Taxi and helped keep or logistics less stressful. We had a wonderful experience in Barcelona. YES I would recommend Hotel Casa Teva to anyone who is looking for a clean and safe place to sleep in a good location without spending a fortune for a room you only use to sleep in at night.

Excellent staff, very approachable and accommodating but this hotel has limited dining. Breakfast buffet was delicious but they only serve same dish every morning. Area around the property is a rather rough neighborhood... you just have to be mindful of your surroundings as you walk out especially at night. The hotel does have security but only until 1am (as we were told).

Das Personal ist super freundlich. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht und stillvoll, der Raumduft ist fantastisch. Wir hatten den Cozy Room, der zwar recht klein ist, aber völlig ausreichend, wenn man sowieso nur unterwegs ist. Die Frühstücksauswahl ist toll und man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Zu Fuß ist man in 5 Minuten auf der La Rambla und diversen Metros, ebenso in 10 Minuten am Hafen. Wir kommen wieder!

Spotlessly clean, lovely welcome from staff at check in. Little details appreciated such as the choice of snacks and drinks to purchase in the rooms, but also a fruit bowl and water downstairs 24 hours. The choice of soap/shampoo etc in the rooms are lovely. The hotel is very close to Ramblas, yes it’s down a side street but myself and my 14 year old daughter never felt unsafe. And it was walking distance to so many places. I would definitely stay again. A special shout out to Alex and Aaliyah on reception - so warm, friendly and welcoming - and great top tips. Thank you for making our stay that extra bit special.

Very nice and friendly staff! We felt very safe at the hotel and the interior at the lobby was neat. The room was a bit noisy from the hallway and elevators, and there was mold in the bathroom. Otherwise everything functioned as it should😊 We weren’t fond of the neighborhood even though we ate at really good restaurants on the street! If the hotel was placed in another neighborhood we would definitely come back another time.

Room was larger than expected for a EU hotel! Was clean and updated. Down side was AC was not “on” due to November but warm in room. Opening window made it very loud from street noise. We liked the distance to Las Ramblas and subway. Fairly loud at night with walkers and nearby park (but closed window abated that issue).

Our room was incredibly small, like an afterthought. It was also very cold, which we were told was a complaint from a previous guest! There were no chairs to sit on, no vanity and the light in the bathroom was overhead, making it difficult to shave or apply makeup. There was no facial tissue, no bar soap or body lotion. The shampoo was terrible as was the body wash. One small garbage can in the bathroom. Decor was drab, dated. On another note, the bed was comfortable. The reception staff, Alex, Marcelle, Karen, others in reception and the breakfast room staff were AMAZING!! They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of ❤️

Room was nice, quiet at night and the bed was comfortable. Very close to La Rambla. Fantastic breakfast, tasty and plenty of choice. I have visited Barcelona several times and I would definitely stay here again if I return.

Overall, nice stay. Rooms are small. There was a weird smell in the hotel and despite having a thermostat, it remained very warm in the room. Had a hard time sleeping due to the heat. Booked knowing it had AC. Staff was nice and accomodating

The hotel closed down the A/C for the entire hotel because it was cold outside. And it wasn't that cold throughout my stay in BCN. The hotel had the A/C closed and for last 3 nights, it was miserable for me and my pregnant wife We were in sweat, didn't get enough sleep and hotel didn't open the A/C

Stayed five nights over two separate stays as we were going a cruise from Barcelona. Wow what a fabulous experience we were treated like family making us so welcome and cared for throughout both stays. The breakfast is fresh and tasty with a great variety of hot and cold items. Location is ideal for La Rambla and Mont Juic areas. Room was bijoux but well equipped, good amenities, clean and comfortable. The whole team made both stays Brillo at can’t recommend them highly enough. Alex, Alliah, Jose Luis, Karen, Miguel and all the team thank you.

Location is ideal for La Rambla and Mont Juic areas. Room was bijoux but well equipped, good amenities, clean and comfortable. Javier, Karen and Alex were all amazing! Our first room was extremely warm and the staff was so accommodating. They moved us to another room that was much more comfortable. They were helpful with our luggage and calling us a cab when we were ready to leave. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic. We would definitely stay again when in Barcelona. Thank you for a memorable stay!

We loved this hotel. The bed was one of the best we have slept in. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We could walk to shops, restaurants and the marina easily. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

Barcelona city centre near the Columbus Monument. A few minutes walk from La Rambla, metro, buses and boat trips. Warned to take precautions against pick pockets. Friendly reception, comfortable room and quality en-suite. No in room safe however. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Enjoyed the Hop On Hop Off City Tour, evening tour and show at Casa Batlló, visits to Nou Camp Museum, Guided Tour of Sagrada Familia, dancing outside the cathedral. Various breaks for drinks and tapas widely available. Recommend Bar Lobo

Great little boutique hotel, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were very good. We had dinner in the restaurant which they are slowly expanding. Food was excellent, held its own compared to other more established restaurants.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Teva in Barcelona. The location was excellent and made it easy to explore the city.
