Das Hotel war gut zu erreichen, das Personal war sehr freundlich und besonders habe ich mich über den Pool und das Paulaner Wirtshaus gefreut. Doch leider hatte man vergessen das Duschgel aufzufüllen. Ansonsten war ich sehr zufrieden und würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder nutzen.

We stayed here in Sept '24 in room 2203 in an Executive Room. Very clean and lots of room. We had use of the Executive Lounge and was surprised that we had booked for only Bed & Breakfast, only to find Evening Meal was also included. Breakfast had a good selection, but the Evening Meal not so much but was very nice and considered free to us as we had not booked or paid for it. The swimming pool was excellent with Jacuzzi, Steam Room and Sauna. Would we stay here again? Absolutely and will be recommending it to friends considering a stay in Munich.

We booked the hotel parking for 2 nights and we paid for that at the check in time. Unfortunately the second day the parking was full. They didn't offer any compensation, we asked for the REFUND and they denied to pay back the money they have already got but were not able to provide it. Unfortunately the reception supervisor was also too rude. I would never recommend this hotel although it was clean and convenient. What you expect from the host is the hospitality not being arrogant..

Very beautiful and luxurious hotel – both in terms of the rooms and the other facilities. Clean, neat, and stylish. However, the hotel is a bit pricey – both to stay at and in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide selection. There was, among other things, an automatic pancake machine and the option to have your own omelet made. The hotel gym was outstanding and almost resembled a real fitness center. There was free cold water available – both still and sparkling. The hotel is located a short distance from the U-Bahn, making it quick and easy to get into the city center.

It's a Westin so you know what you are getting right off. Hotel is very clean and the staff were top notch. Parking was very easy albeit not cheap. The hotel is located 100 yards from the subway and it's only 4 or 5 stops to the town center. It's a very nice hotel but not centrally located if you want to walk to the town, you will need to take the train, but it's very close and only a few Euro's to get you there. There's limited dining options around the hotel but there is a Paulaner restaurant located within the building which offers a great menu. It does close early though so be sure to get in before it closes. Would we stay here again? Yes. Very comfortable bed and very clean room. For guests that are driving it's a good spot to stay.

Ein sehr tolles Hotel mit sehr guter Anbindung zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Fußläufig ist ein REWE, wenn man etwas benötigt. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereite Personal vom Empfang bis Service. Fitness-und Wellness-Bereich vorhanden mit Dampfbad, 60 Grad und 90 Grad Sauna sowie Swimmingpool. Frühstück hat eine sehr große Auswahl und ist international - nicht nur Standard wie sonst übllich (English Breakfast). Es gab auch Reissuppe und gebratenen Reis. Alles in allem tolles Hotel mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

In unserem ersten Zimmer war ein großer Fleck in der Badewanne, der Spinkler war mit Klebeband abgeklebt und ein Handtuch hatte kleine Blutflecken. Das Zimmer wurde offensichtlich nicht gut gereinigt und überprüft. Wir haben danach ein anderes Zimmer bekommen welches besser war. Der Spa-Bereich ist nicht schlecht, wir haben aber deutlich mehr erwartet und wählten dieses Hotel aufgrund des Spa-Bereiches aus. Das Wasser des Schwimmbeckens sowie des Whirlpools waren maximal lauwarm, sodass uns dort direkt kalt wurde. Das Becken wird zudem hauptsächlich als Kinderspielbecken genutzt, wodurch der Entspannungsfaktor reduziert wird. Zudem gingen viele Leute mit ihrer nassen Badebekleidung in die Sauna und nutzen auch kein Handtuch. Bis auf eine Person am Eingang war auch kein Personal da, das dagegen irgendwas gemacht hat.

Large opulent common areas in hotel but once you get to rooms it changes. Mold in shower. No regular housekeeping, not even towels and coffee without asking daily. Then still not done and had to wait in bar for hour for what was supposed to be housekeeping. But all they did was leave towels and 2 packets of coffee. Expected more for $500 per night. Front desk staff was apologetic each day but we had a 4 night stay and the room was never serviced without asking each day and then once not even after asking. Food poisoning last day. Only ate at breakfast buffet and hotel restaurant.

The place was really no up to standard which the hotel claims The room felt worn out clogged sink and the didn't have any amenities in the toilet not even hand soap needed to go to the reception to ask for it. The cleaning of area around elevator was not done for days also needed to go to the reception so that someone would empty the overfilled trash

Rude not hospitable from the cleaning ladies, to the front desk folks, the dining room and everyone in between.Stated some things they do are "house rules" which means they dont honor loyalty members. Do NOT book on Expedia if you want to be treated with any dignity. Only if you book directly with them then they see you are worth there while. Very outdated rooms, stained carpets, bad bathroom tiles holes and culk in a lot of the tiles. Had to switch rooms because there was red stains on the sheets (they stated it was maybe red wine) and hair in the bathroom looks like it was washed with a dirty rag.

The room was goid sized, lots of room to spread out in. Although some of the furniture looked pretty beat up!! The front desk staff was excellent!! As expected and as usual!! It's nice to be greeted loke people know you. Your entire lobby staff should he commended for the service they provide.

AC does not adequately cool some rooms, which management acknowledges. Freeze-dried room coffee from a kettle should be an embarrassment at a four star hotel. Positives: welcoming front desk. Considerate and understanding management when issues made known. Large and inviting lobby. Reasonably authentic Paulaner inside outside beer garden looks appealing but not well attended. No restaurants of appeal or pleasant surroundings areas due to neighborhood location about 5 miles from Marienplatz, but only 3 minute walk to U bahn direct line to city center. Rooms are large with dim lighting but bright baths. No American TV channels. Excellent soundproofing but no USB adapters in 40 year old property so bring your own round pin adapter. Hotel management can inexpensively resolve this essential need. Hotel has issues but positives and rates usually below other four star hotels in city center earn a recommendation

Came here for a business conference with my spouse. Great location- safe-quite with nice lobby & breakfast. However, very poor rating on maintenance and very poor customer service response. Simple example 1. Toilet flush stopped working at about 6 pm with constant leak when we got back to room after day long outing & tired. Tried calling front desk & service for nearly 30 minutes from room to inform. Finally front desk picked up and said they are sending someone to fix it. Nobody came until morning while we went to bed early. Again called in the morning. None showed up for several hours. Personally, went to desk and in a long line to before I could tell the same thing. Meanwhile, we had to use outside toilet in the lobby. It was surely terrible. Finally they attended & fixed it in the morning. The flush again stooped working and leaking in the late evening. Went down to get the service. In room phone simply donot work. 2. The A/C in rooms stops cooling for few hours past mid night on all four nights we stayed. Perhaps, they cycle it due to too much heat load and insufficient power capacity. Hotel did not compensate for all the agony we went through. It is surely an iconic hotel with great location and amenities. But many things don't work. We found out that there are many better options in the area with lower price than this one charging ~250 Euros/night as a special conference rate.

Worst Westin we have ever stayed in. We have stayed at Westins everywhere and it is our hotel of choice, this Westin didn’t live up to our standards and should not be considered a Grand. Rude staff, dirty, furniture was falling apart A/C didn’t work, tooth picks holding the door lock in. No hot tub even though advertised as it had one NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I will be emailing Marriott group directly as well

Gute Anbindung in die Stadt und zum Oktoberfest. Gute Ausstattung. Die Hotelbar ist toll, aber Bedienung hat unfassbar lange gedauert. Die nächste Renovierung des Badezimmers ist auch demnächst fällig. Aber das ist alles noch OK.

We ate in their dining room the first night. One meal was not edible due to being overcooked to being burned. The staff and Manager were understanding and very kind ond poiite.They did not charge us for that meal. A succor match was being played for guests of the hotel and it was extremely noisy. We understand the enthusiam of the other guests though.
