Upon arrival we were informed that our reservation could not be fulfilled. We booked a room with city view and with a king size bed. We were given a room with 2 separate beds on the 2nd floor. Since we had a dinner reservation shortly after we agreed to stay in the room for our 3 night stay. When returning to the room later that evening we realised the sink was leaking onto the floor - quite a lot. Next morning I requested to get a room corresponding to what we actually booked, and I informed about the leaking sink in the bathroom as well. The frontdesk staff managed to get us a room - now corresponding to our reservation. 7th floor, but the city view was limited to looking into the wall of the building across the street.... hardly what I would call a city view. The shower was leaking in that room, but now I caved in and accepted our faith for the rest of the stay. The hotel is placed perfectly when you want to experience Munich, but both rooms we stayed in were really worn out. Since I also had to work online during the stay I also looked for a hotel offering good conditions for this. and this was OK - no more no less. Trtavelling 50+ days a year staying in various hotels, I must admit I have stayed better places. I would go there again but next time expect more of the hotel. The staff was doing their best and I have only positive things to say about them.
