Very nice hotel. Very elegant interior with lots of facilities available. We booked bed and breakfast and made use of the outdoor pool, the indoor pool/sauna and steamer all included. The rooms included bath robes and good quality slippers. We had a nespresso coffee machine in our room which was great. The sea view from the room was amazing. AC in the room was easy to use. House keeping kept the room clean and fresh everyday. Everything was replaced/topped up well. We had one issue with another guest however the reception and guest relations were able to sort it out for us smoothly. The reception staff are very smiley and friendly. They are easily approachable so are the bell boys. They were amazing! The breakfast options were amazing, the outdoor seating for breakfast was my favourite. The only bad thing was that it was noisy from early morning (8am)as there was construction work going on in tombs of kings.

One of the best European hotels I’ve stayed at. Large property and they have done an excellent job to maintain it. Staff very friendly and attentive. Took advantage of transport to town (walked back) exercise classes and spa. Would recommend to anyone staying in paphos. Great breakfast too!

From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty from Gabor the concierge to check in and our complete stay including the life guards pool attendants. Honestly we had the perfect stay. We chose a superior seaview room and wasn’t let down with the views. Perfectly positioned for sunset. Opt for the top floor for the perfect views. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. You’ll not go hungry. There’s so many comfy sunloungers you’ll not struggle to find one even at 10am. We were thoroughly spoilt with our anniversary wine & chocolates- this hotel lived upto its 5* rating. Allow for its traditional room decor which is part of the charm it’s not dated just full of character - the communal areas are modern & shiny. Shame we missed a spy in the spa area but caught a glimpse of the pool which was outstanding / get booking if your in Paphos

This is a truly exceptional hotel and we would definitely visit again. The service was excellent. Every member of staff made us feel very welcome, and was the perfect balance between professional and friendly. They were very considerate and paid attention to detail. The hotel is stunning both inside and out, and very well maintained. There is plenty of space for parking both above and underground. The beach and the high street are both a five minute walk. The food is wonderful with a great selection. For lunch we ate out as we did excursions most days. There are numerous restaurants in the area around the hotel, and large shopping mall just 5 mins drive.

This hotel is probably one of the best hotels we have ever been to, and we travel all over the world. It is just gorgeous! The Service and the staff are excellent. The grounds are magnificent. There are pools and beautiful grassy areas with trees shading , all facing the ocean. It does not really have any beach to swim in, but it is a beautiful setting to sit at. The breakfast is amazing, and there are 3 options of seating areas, all of which are great. Especially the garden area. The architecture and decor are very beautiful and top of the line. Everyone who works there are extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend the Elysium if you are planning a trip to Cyprus. It’s awesome!

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The room is clean and quiet. The bed and towels are soft and nice. There are varieties of restaurants options with good food quality. The surrounding areas are nice and close to other attractions and beaches that you can visit in Paphos. Our first hotel in Cyprus and we are truly impressed! Highly recommended! Definitely come back when we return to Cyprus in the future.

The hotel is very clean. The pool area has great atmosphere both during the day and at night. The staff are very helpfull and welcoming. This hotel is highend, maybe a little pricey but it worth every penny you pay. I will definitely stay here agin if I come back ti Paphos. Highly recommended

Fantastic resort with delicious food. Spotless room and friendly, helpful staff. Easy to walk to ruins. Our only disappointment was that there’s a restaurant that plays loud music until 11:00 each night. While that’s not terribly late, it does make it hard to relax and enjoy a peaceful evening in your own room. Still, we’d stay here again because the location and food were exceptional.

We have stayed at the Elysium three times rolling back to 2007. The hotel is very well maintained and is immaculate throughout. It looks and feels brand new. The staff are hugely attentive, with the exception perhaps of the somewhat militant spa staff guarding the indoor pool. On arrival the porters couldn’t move fast enough to help with luggage. Reception has more staff than clients. It’s efficiency at it’s highest order. Around the pool your are looked after. Staff sort your sunbeds out for you (no messing around with bagging them with towels). Sunshades are delivered, as are drinks and cool towels. All the staff are superbly drilled and polite. Breakfast is a similar delight. So well run and organised. We didn’t eat in the restaurants in the evening but have before and there were a similar experience. If I was looking for a downside - the location. Whilst the hotel is off the main road the beach walk has been closed for refurbishment so you are forced to the main road to walk into town. It’s basically a drag strip. The driving is horrendous, and that’s coming from someone who likes cars and a bit of speed. Genuinely awful.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay. Excellent reputation and reviews are well deserved. Breakfast was outstanding, staff were first rate. The pool area is lovely. On the other hand the small beach is not a major asset and needs work; there is quite a bit of recent and ongoing waterfront landscaping in the area around the hotel. Our room did have "partial sea view" but also faced the property\'s noisy air conditioning unit..

One of the best hotel stays I have ever had. Exceptional room, clean quiet and comfortable . The staff were amazing and willing to help with any problem—there was a pillow concierge! Even with a higher occupancy the resort didn’t feel crowded. Buffet breakfast was great as were the themed evening meals. Ate at the Italian restaraunt on site—what a great room! Excellent food and service. I would highly recommend to anyone. The only problem is we have to stay somewhere else for the rest of our holiday! A tough act to follow

Restaurants do not show menu prices outside each venue Breakfast buffet large, but cooked hot food was only like warm. Only the omelette was hot. Their own app did not work, you could not select the hotel. Was reported but nothing happened

We booked a room with partial See view and as Gold member qualified for an upgrade. The first room they offered us faced the parking lot and a construction side. We refused to take this room. The only better option was to take a room above the entrance, facing again a parking lot. From the very side corner of the balcony you overlooked the construction area and behind that the ocean. The only other option they offered us was a junior suit that would have cost more than 300€ more per night. I was quite disappointed!!! The hotel was very clean an the staff was always very friendly. Only exception was the staff at the reception they could have been more helpful. The spa was very nice but quite expensive! A massage costs 105-158€. Breakfast was very nice but there is no variation. Staff always very friendly. Pool area is very well maintained a great place to swim and relax. We used the fitness center every day unfortunately the room for the free yoga and Pilates classes are very small. Only 6-9 people could join the group classes and the classes were always preoccupied by club members who booked very well ahead. The day we could join because we were on the waiting list there were people who took three courses in a row, no wonder that there wasn’t a place for hotel guests. We enjoyed the Pilates class a lot. Bed very comfy, pillows are a bit fat. Bath has a very high side which is difficult to get in and there are only 4 rooms available with walk in shower. Didn’t get our free wine for being a loyal customer. Very clean and lots of sunbeds. Sometimes difficult to get a seat outside in the evening for a drink .

Not so great as the other times we have stayed there. Room was very hot (as was the rest of the hotel), the curtain was ripped and there was no wine in the room. Breakfast still excellent, service was very good albeit a bit too much at some times. Christmas decorations were a bit basic and somewhat lackluster

We stayed for a week at the Elysium. We are a quite well-travelled family, and we spend around two month a year in hotels. The Elysium might not be the most luxurious hotel, nor the hotel with the nicest decor, best facilities or restaurants, but it is unfaillingly the hotel with the best service we have ever stayed in. Nothing is a problem. Everything can be fixed. The staff of Elysium are extremely professional, friendly, kind, attentive and helpful. From the waiters and the managers in the breakfast restaurant, the receptionists, bellboys and staff in the Opium Spa. They all take interest and pride in making your stay a pleasure. And it really was. Thank you!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay. Excellent reputation and reviews are well deserved. Breakfast was outstanding, staff were first rate. The pool area is lovely. On the other hand the small beach is not a major asset and needs work; there is quite a bit of recent and ongoing waterfront landscaping in the area around the hotel. Our room did have "partial sea view" but also faced the property\'s noisy air conditioning unit..

This is a truly exceptional hotel and we would definitely visit again. The service was excellent. Every member of staff made us feel very welcome, and was the perfect balance between professional and friendly. They were very considerate and paid attention to detail. The hotel is stunning both inside and out, and very well maintained. There is plenty of space for parking both above and underground. The beach and the high street are both a five minute walk. The food is wonderful with a great selection. For lunch we ate out as we did excursions most days. There are numerous restaurants in the area around the hotel, and large shopping mall just 5 mins drive.

Our only disappointment was that there’s a restaurant that plays loud music until 11:00 each night. While that’s not terribly late, it does make it hard to relax and enjoy a peaceful evening in your own room. Still, we’d stay here again because the location and food were exceptional.

We have stayed at the Elysium three times rolling back to 2007. The hotel is very well maintained and is immaculate throughout. It looks and feels brand new. The staff are hugely attentive, with the exception perhaps of the somewhat militant spa staff guarding the indoor pool. On arrival the porters couldn’t move fast enough to help with luggage. Reception has more staff than clients. It’s efficiency at it’s highest order. Around the pool your are looked after. Staff sort your sunbeds out for you (no messing around with bagging them with towels). Sunshades are delivered, as are drinks and cool towels. All the staff are superbly drilled and polite. Breakfast is a similar delight. So well run and organised. We didn’t eat in the restaurants in the evening but have before and there were a similar experience. If I was looking for a downside - the location. Whilst the hotel is off the main road the beach walk has been closed for refurbishment so you are forced to the main road to walk into town. It’s basically a drag strip. The driving is horrendous, and that’s coming from someone who likes cars and a bit of speed. Genuinely awful.

Elysium was absolutely amazing, we hardly felt the need to leave the hotel grounds because it was so beautiful and had everything you could need. Service was excellent. Rooms were super clean! I would say the restaurant could do with a couple more veggie options - that being said they were super accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend. The pool was lovely too!

The architecture of the hotel is beautiful and along with the location, that is the biggest plus for this hotel. The hotel is very clean and kudos to the entire staff. Every afternoon they bring small cookies to the room complimentary. Breakfast is excellent, varied. Excellent internet throughout the resort! These are the things that the hotel justifies 5*. As for the bad experience, there are also a lot of things I have to mention. Dinner in terms of quality and quantity does not deserve a hotel like this. Very simple. Almost every day everything is the same except for three or four main dishes that change. I have been in many 5* hotels and the dinner here is at a very low level. We booked the Royal Villa with a private pool because we wanted our own pool and privacy. It's a waste of money. The villa has no privacy, the pool is not heated, it is very cold (like all other outdoor pools) and we could not swim. We stayed end of april, beginning of May.You have no privacy, because all the rooms around you, as well as other guests and staff who pass by the villa, look directly at you. The air conditioning in the villa was noisy , some noise was there non-stop, even the air condition is off, there was still the annoying noise, and I couldn't sleep.We were guests of this hotel for seven nights. I informed the staff about it four times, after the fourth time they took action, but in the end of the day they couldn't do enything.

The Elysium is now our favourite hotel that we have stayed at as a couple. The staff are wonderful and the grounds are fantastic. In terms of food and drink, the choice is vast and the quality is excellent. They even have pillow menus in the room.

One of the best hotel stays I have ever had. Exceptional room, clean quiet and comfortable . The staff were amazing and willing to help with any problem—there was a pillow concierge! Even with a higher occupancy the resort didn’t feel crowded. Buffet breakfast was great as were the themed evening meals. Ate at the Italian restaraunt on site—what a great room! Excellent food and service. I would highly recommend to anyone. The only problem is we have to stay somewhere else for the rest of our holiday! A tough act to follow

The hotel has beautiful grounds and pools. Rooms feel a little outdated. Shower in the bath with a small shower screen which meant floor was soaked. If you drive there, there are not any obvious signs when you get to the hotel. It's not hard to miss but you do wonder as you drive in, whether you're in the right place or not. Staff were great and super friendly. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Room service wasn't that good. Beautiful setting and grounds. My son liked the kids club as well.
