Stayed 1 night

Our room door was ajar when we arrived and we asked the front desk staff to come check it out. After she checked inside the room, said everything is fine and left. Seconds later, we couldn’t close the door or lock it. We went to the front desk and told the same lady that the door and lock were broken, didn’t feel safe sleeping there and asked for a different room. She said they had no more rooms. Asked for a refund, she said they couldn’t issue it, I had to call Expedia. No manager on site, she wouldn’t provide corporate’s number or let us speak with a manager and wouldn’t find us a room at another chain hotel. Frustrated, we asked how is it possible that there’s no manager available to speak with at that moment. The lady accused my husband of being hostile and asked to stop yelling at her. He was not hostile or yelling. Clearly, she has no customer service skills and shouldn’t be running a hotel front desk. It took about 10 minutes and many requests for the lady to give us a number for a manager to call the next day. We ended up getting something elsewhere and had no issues.

Rooms need updating but were clean & comfortable. Disappointed there was no place to get clean drinking water to fill our water bottles. Also no breakfast at all.

Issues started as soon as we arrived. 1. Urine smell all the way from parking lot to hallways. 2. People smoking MJ all around the building. 3. People sleeping in their cars in the parking lot making us feel unsecure. On the other hand it was easy to cancel the rest of the Nights based on my complains.

I guess they had picked leaks in the room from the water. There was a big old spot above the shower that wasn't painted still was just plastered and on the side of the wall , the same thing , but you have nerve to rent that room 42 hundred dollars , that's crazy and then all night, you can smell people walking past your door smoking cigarettes, Yup, I have Asthma. Other than that, the room was a little decent and the ice machine need to be on each floor. Not walking around to the other side of the building on a different floor so until they fix that plaster, tell them you don't want to stay in 212 and it smells still like it been closed up too long. I'll also have a bathtub that you can't stop the water up because it don't have a plug to stop it up with.So that's a no no
