The Wayback, Pigeon Forge, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Room was very clean. Great location, short walk to Island, crime museum and comedy barn. Pool was awesome. The only complaint would be parking was a little troublesome. Didn't always have parking close to our room but, was able to adjust without too much difficulty. Over-all experience was good and I would book here again.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay a good one. The bathrooms in the hotel rooms are quite nice - tile floors and detach shower head options.

Hotel is a great central location on the strip. They do not have enough parking for the amount of rooms for their hotel though. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. However, I won't be back. Each door to each room has door puller on them. The doors slam shut every time you open them. So all night and early morning all you can do is hear doors slamming. The doors also are so heavy feeling and close so fast they will hit you as you are trying to get in the room. My mother came by as they stayed in a different hotel and the door almost knocked her down and did bruise her. A kid would very easily be hurt by these doors and it makes it very difficult to sleep. Honestly other than that the hotel is great and I would stay there often. This was my 2nd stay at the Wayback and I was hoping maybe they had changed the doors but I don't think that is going to happen. Staff was nice enough. Hotel clean. Pool looked nice.Breakfsst tasted great. We had breakfast vouchers so that was nice. If you don't get vouchers, the breakfast absolutely would not be worth the price with other options close by being better for the same price. Overall good hotel with terrible doors.
