A fantastic location within walking distance if bus ride to the top of the old city. The hotel is lovely- our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We booked parking, breakfast was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and we had a great view of the lit Alcazar at night.

Very nice hotel just outside of the medieval walled city. About 15 minutes walk to all major points in the old city. Has underground parking. Highly recommended.

Nous avions une chambre donnant sur une cour intérieur, et c'était très bien, aucun bruit malgré la proximité de l'ascenseur (isolation parfaite). Personnels très agréables et disponibles. Très bon petit déjeuné. Le parking est un peu étroit

El problema fue generalizado en cuanto a servicio y atención. Nos atendieron mal hasta el punto de decirnos dos personas diferentes que "si no le gusta no vuelva". El check in sin ayuda con las maletas. La habitación olía mal. No hicieron la habitación. Tuvimos que ir nosotros a cambiar toallas. Solo dejan una botella de agua por estancia, y todo ello con una PÉSIMA atención. A este hotel le sobran tres estrellas.

El problema fue generalizado en cuanto a servicio y atención. Nos atendieron mal hasta el punto de decirnos dos personas diferentes que "si no le gusta no vuelva". El check in sin ayuda con las maletas. La habitación olía mal. No hicieron la habitación. Tuvimos que ir nosotros a cambiar toallas. Un poco decepcionado. Lo bueno del alojamiento es la localización al lado de la plaza de toros, pero rodeado de zona azul. Para ser un 4 estrellas me han faltado muchas cosas, la decoración era muy antigua con muebles y ventanas de madera. Estuvimos dos noches, el aire acondicionado y la calefacción no funcionaban y las paredes no aislaban nada el sonido, tanto a las 7 de la mañana como a las 12 de la noche lo único que se escuchaba era como recogían los platos de la cocina del restaurante de abajo, haciendo complicado poder conciliar el sueño sin despertarse.

Nice little hotel located right before Puerta de Bisagra (3 min walk). The L5 Bus takes you from the train station( 1,49 Euros) to the hotel . L5 also takes you to Plaza Zocodever, in the heart of old town. I had a courtyard room , very quiet. Nicely renovated, very clean, shampoo and soap in reusable bottles. Fridge ( and one bottle of water on arrival ) , fast wifi and friendly staff. Irene from reception was awesome. Suggestions: the hotel should install a filtered water machine on every floor and provide glass bottles to fill out fir every room ( better than providing plastic bottles ). Hair Conditioner needed in bathrooms and better quality shampoo . I checked out at 6,30 am on Aug 14th and the gentleman at reception was very kind, checkout fast. He also called a taxi to take me to the train station, as the buses were not running until 7 am. Highly recommend the hotel!

insufficient air conditioning, my room was no lower than 75f despite 2 AC units in the room. If not fir the heat everything was great. they charge €1.50 for coffee in the lobby...kind of a cheap move, most hotels give it away for free. The vreakfast was typicsl. Too much for basically bread and fruit. Everyone does this so you cant really blame them.

Nice old building with good communal areas/ambience, and an excellent restaurant. However, our room was substandard for the price-point of the hotel - tiny, cramped with a diminutive window with a view of what appeared to be a garbage compactor: it felt very stuffy and poorly ventilated.

Insgesamt sehr angenehme und großzügige Zimmer. Leider schließen Die Zimmertüren nicht leise, so dass bei manchen Gästen die Türen einfach nur zugeknallt wurden. Das ist dann Nachts oder früh am Morgen störend!

Really well located just outside city walls therefore ease of access to the hotel by car. Few minutes walk to escalators. Overall the hotel itself was superb. It has obviously only been recently removed as the rooms and, in particular, the bathroom was spotlessly well maintained. Breakfast was also to a high standard with a wide range of options. Only slight negative was that our room (Room 113) appeared to be above the kitchen as from early in the morning the noise was quite intrusive. We didn’t mind because we are early risers, but for those that are looking to sleep in it could be an issue. Staff very helpful and courteous. Thank you

The hotel location is just outside the city walls approximately 10 minutes away. It is right next door to The Old Hospital Museum /Church which is worth a visit? Housekeeping is very good and the Hotel is in very good condition. Our room is spacious with an excellent view of the city.

Hotel bello, ben arredato, mobili di pregio, molto curato enpulito. Giudizio complessivo molto buono. Però, personale alla reception troppo timoroso e troppo inesperto. Serve un po' più di formazione per i giovanissimi. Poi, un quattro stelle.senza il bidet nel bagno è come una giornata senza sole e senza luce. Inaccettabile

This is a really good hotel. As Australians travelling in Spain we stay in many hotels and don't normally leave a comment regarding a hotel. Very friendly and efficient. You can walk directly to the major sights. It is beside the bull ring ! Very cool. Most importantly, if you have a car it has secure very tight parking, we drove directly to Madrid Airport and that is relatively easy. Lastly it had blackout shutters in the room for a very good nights sleep on a very comfortable bed as advertised. Stay here it is very good and not a boring chain style hotel.

El hotel es genial , pero los recepcionistas un poco apáticos , al llegar nos dieron la habitación y no ofrecieron información de la zona que en todos los sitios donde hemos ido nos han dado y al pasar por delante de recepción había algunos que ni contestaban a los buenos días

A fantastic location within walking distance if bus ride to the top of the old city. The hotel is lovely- our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We booked parking, breakfast was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and we had a great view of the lit Alcazar at night.

La struttura si trova davanti alla porta di ingresso di Toledo perciò è molto comoda. È un bellissimo albergo con parcheggio coperto a pagamento ( euro 13,00 a notte), con il personale della reception sempre sorridente e disponibile. La camera a me assegnata ( 304) ha il riscaldamento autonomo, un bagno con un box doccia grande e un armadio capiente. Vorrei però suggerire all’hotel di mettere un bollitore nella camera che è ormai sempre presente, migliorare la colazione, fornire la scrivania della camera di qualche foglio e di una matita ed evitare di passare dalla sala colazione intorno alle dieci con il contenitore dell’ immondizia. Si tratta di suggerimenti che richiedono uno sforzo minimo ma che, a mio parere, renderebbero l’’albergo meraviglioso.

Nice little hotel located right before Puerta de Bisagra (3 min walk). The L5 Bus takes you from the train station( 1,49 Euros) to the hotel . L5 also takes you to Plaza Zocodever, in the heart of old town. I had a courtyard room , very quiet. Nicely renovated, very clean, shampoo and soap in reusable bottles. Fridge ( and one bottle of water on arrival ) , fast wifi and friendly staff. Irene from reception was awesome. Suggestions: the hotel should install a filtered water machine on every floor and provide glass bottles to fill out fir every room ( better than providing plastic bottles ). Hair Conditioner needed in bathrooms and better quality shampoo . I checked out at 6,30 am on Aug 14th and the gentleman at reception was very kind, checkout fast. He also called a taxi to take me to the train station, as the buses were not running until 7 am. Highly recommend the hotel!

Very nice hotel just outside of the medieval walled city. About 15 minutes walk to all major points in the old city. Has underground parking. Highly recommended.

The hotel location is just outside the city walls approximately 10 minutes away. It is right next door to The Old Hospital Museum /Church which is worth a visit? Housekeeping is very good and the Hotel is in very good condition. Our room is spacious with an excellent view of the city.

Gutes Hotel, keine Kaffee- oder Teemaschine im Zimmer, keine Taschentücher (obwohl 4 Sterne). Parken sehr beengt in der Garage. Frühstück war ganz gut, aber wenn man später kam, war kaum noch was da. Fazit: ganz gut, aber für das Angebot zu teuer!

The hotel is located in a historic building and is at 10 - 15 minutes walk from Toledo medieval city walls. It is next to the "Plaza de Toros" where there are regularly concerts and other events until late in the night, but rooms are quite well sound proofed. Our room was very large and the air conditioning worked well, which was nice as it was 39 degrees outside

The room and bathroom were great, and beds were comfortable. Close to public transit (bus #5 to Plaza Zocodover) and given the hike into the old town, taking the bus is highly recommended.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Maria Christina Hotel. An interesting old building, next to an old bull fighting ring, turned into spacious and comfortable rooms. The bed was particularly comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating and the location was perfect -- just outside the gates but an easy walk into the central part of Toledo. The breakfast was very good as well. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it!
