Stayed 3 nights in a Junior Suite at Melia Valencia. I really wanted to give this 5 stars, but it was lacking in a couple of key areas. Positives: great service, very spacious room, nice pool and sun deck, really large gym, on-site spa, enormous lobby, and located in a new and modern part of the city. Negatives: the room was a little beat-up (stains on the carpet, scrapes and dents on the walls, marks on the furniture), and the room wasn't super clean (hair on the carpet and small remnants of children's toys on the floor). Overall, a great stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel...just can't give it 5-stars because of the room condition and cleanliness.

We enjoyed our stay at the Meliá València. The place was clean, quiet, and the staff friendly. The food and drink was great and the location is very convenient. Some of the facilities were a little funky such as the elevators and the faucet on our sink that was set to the side of the sink instead of the middle. Window cleaners setting up at 6am was really loud with ropes banging on our 23rd floor windows which was really disruptive to what had been a quiet room. Parking on site is expensive, but the restaurants and bars were outstanding. I would recommend this hotel for a visit to València. Nice, safe, quiet neighborhood with easy access to the city center by train or bus or taxi.

Generally, would expect more from this calibre of hotel at this price. Pros: Clean and well decorated hotel Nice pool area Quick lifts Cons: Booked this hotel due to the spa facilities, but upon arriving, was informed that the spa was a chargeable extra and around €35 an hour. Very basic gym Room service menu wasn’t available and despite calling the team three times to resolve this, nothing was done

The only team that really shines at this property is the staff at the cocktail bar at the lower level. They were great! We were there for 3 nights, the room had a separate sitting area. But the couch in that room was barely usable as it is a sofa bed; it sat horribly. (I hope it works better as a sofa bed as we didn't use it). Breakfast here was horrible. Probably one of the worst hotel breakfasts I have ever been to. Coffee there was bad, they gave us tongs to use to serve ourselves fried eggs. 😂😂 Chunks of eggs in the tray everywhere!! Another eco-hotel, which means the AC doesn't really work in the rooms. The whole three days when you're out, you pray the cleaners leave the blinds closed or your room will be hot!

O hotel é bonito e os quartos confortáveis. A zona do pequeno almoço poderia ser melhor. A piscina interior é cobrada á parte e a marcação tem de ser feita diretamente no spa, e não havia vagas para uso da piscina. Achei que esta parte, tornou a experiência no hotel menos agradável.

Big problem is no air conditioning in hallways or elevator during the summer. I was on level 21, so the ride in elevator was torture. When I arrive on my level, it's still hot. Windows can't open. Swimming pool: dirty water, charging for covered lounge is excessive Breakfast: hams & cheeses look old. Vegetables: diced carrots were rotten

Melia did a great job to help the people in need after Dana shook up the province, we were at the hotel that nightand although we were not informed or nobody told us not to go out, we were fine where the hotel was located. The next day there was no house keeping service and this was nicely done with a letter in the room explaning...but the 4th night the room wasn't cleaned again, which was not ok and no explanation letter. Also something anying is that we did not get water in the room and the receptionist told us that only the first night, you get water...but the water is not recommended to drink from the tab and the room price is the same, these little details make a stay uncomfortable.

Service was great but there was smellnof urine in toilet so I cannot barely open the door of the bathroom. It smells really bad and was digusting so that i have to hold my breathe while i was using toilet. Also I was kind of afraid taking a shower because of the smell. Even though the place was comfortable and the breakfast was great, hotel needs to improve with the matter of toilet.

Overall the property was ok. The bathroom/shower smelled of sewer and we were on the 18th floor. We had reserved a ‘level’ suite which is their highest offering and to check in we had to go up to the 26th floor, where we were informed that the level suites do not accommodate pets (which was a filter we had set on Expedia). Not sure if they ended up giving us what we paid for but overall we had an ok time and we loved what we saw of València.

I was given 2 rooms, both smelled like cigarettes, I advised the front desk who stated they were fully occupied and would send someone up to help minimize. Called twice and no one came up. I had my daughter with me that suffers from asthma and we could barely spend time there. I could never go back to that hotel. Dirty carpets, hairs in the bathtub. Completely grossed out!

Ein Zimmer hatte einen tollen Blick durch ein grosses bodentiefes Fenster, das andere ein kleines Fenster mit fürchterlichen Ausblick ins Hinterland, die alte Dame von der Zummerreinigung hat geklaut (der Abteilungsleiter und Hotelchef wurde informiert: Hintergrund war der Umzug in ein anderes Zimmer, zunächst wurde der erste Schwung Gepäck ins neue Zimmer gebracht, als ich zurück kam, waren Hundebett, Hundekorb, unbebutzte eigene Wasserflaschen und Hundefutter bereits aus dem Zimmrr geräunt, die Dame hatte die Getränke schon in ihren eigenen Reinigungswagen gepackt), eine Entschuldigung gab es vom Hotel nicht. Wie man sich als haustierfreundlich bezeichnen kann, wenn man für einen Kurzhaardackel 50€ pro Tag (nicht pro Aufenthalt) bezahlen muss, versteht man nicht. Die verschimmelten Duschfugen (wie auf den Bildern zu erkennen) müssen mal wieder erneuert werden. Peinlich für so ein Hotel mit Sternen. Und das Rezeptionspersonal, insbesondere der Javier muss Freundlichkeit noch erklärt bekommen. Kein guten Tag, kein „wünsche einen schönen Aufenthalt“, kein „herzliche Willkommen“. In einem Business Hotel mit internationalem Publikum hat am Empfang Personal ohne gute Englischkenntnisse nichts zu suchen. Auch beim Auschecken keine Freundlichkeit, kein „ich hoffe es hat Ihnen gefallen oder auch kein „gute Weiterreise“. Das Personal am Empfang, meist waren es Männer, sind unfreundlich, ungebildet und wenig service orientiert. Das einzig tolle war die hoteleigene Tiefgarage

Loud room, very noisy you can hear everything from the hallway. No wonder why... Room Doors shut incredible loud. Water was not draining nicely. Personel is nice and cleaning is good. But don't go if you are a light sleeper.

The property was great! The hotel staff were extremely accommodating. Absolutely loved our stay there. My wife came down with a cold and the farmacia was right around the corner. The staff would help me box up food to bring back to the room and the matre'd would ask me each morning how she was doing! The breakfast staff would remember the order I had from the day before. Just amazing service and sooo helpful. The property is about a 15 minute cab ride from the central market and touristy areas. We learned a lot from our cab drivers to and from the hotel. Be aware that wifi in the building can be a bit spotty so be sure to check your connections if you're on a limited mobile plan. The elevators are fast and super efficient. Can't say enough about thos property. Would stay again...or live there if they would let me 😊

Loved this hotel. The entrance hall was beautiful as was the large, spacious room. We upgraded to 'The Level' and highly recommend this. Wonderful staff that done lots for you. The breakfast was great, separate area for upgraded guests including wonderful cooked to order selection of food and coffees. Highly recommend

I was disappointed by the lack of service from the staff. We had to wait for check in, breackfast, any question for the reception. We were not informed about the towel system at the pool. The personnel was helpful but it seemed to be complicated. The worst is when we waited 45 minutes for towels in room, we had to call back because they FORGOT the request... The hotel is nice, comfortable BUT the service ruins all the experience. People were always kind but not professional for the expected level of the hotel.

Staff is very rude. Not willing to help or accommodate. My flight was changed and could not stay at Melia Valencia, rather needed to stay at Melia Madrid, staff did nothing to help but offered to loose the money or give it to someone else. Ended up having to book a new reservation and having to loose over €300. I did not ask for money back but rather a credit or a transfer. Terrible service.

Beautiful hotel in Valencia. Up one block from the underground subway access and the Hop On Hop off bus. Great location if you want a bit of distance from the downtown hustle and bustle. Breakfast was great and hotel staff very accomodating. Would definitely stay again.

Overall I had a nice stay. I would choose Melia again but this location is a bit far from some of the walkable areas in Valencia. Be aware of the room you choose. The rooms on the lower floors are noticeably older and my initial room had faulty outlets. I enjoyed breakfast and the pool area.

Fint hotel udenfor byen, men tæt på metro. Tæt på motorvej, og nemt at parkere. Hotellet virker dog lidt slidt med tykke gulvtæpper, og indeklimaet kunne være bedre. Fin morgenbuffet med stort udvalg.

1 night stay as a family. Check in was great, the family room was perfect. Parking is easy and free nearby. Quiet hotel and super comfy beds. Now the negatives. Firstly the cocktail bar downstairs was ok but the toilets smell bad, no soap and nothing to dry your hands. Basics… secondly avoid room service. The food was really not good.
