The Douglas modern villa is an incredibly well-appointed home full of every amenity needed for a great vacation. The kitchen was the perfect place for our group of old friends to gather and cook delicious meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and modern. The rooftop deck offers a beautiful view of the water, the backyard has a patio and firepit. The proximity to Douglas village is excellent. We enjoyed strolling into town for coffee, meals, gallery tours. It’s also super close to Saugatuck and all of its offerings. We would definitely return!

Our family of 8 enjoyed the stay. The kitchen was nicely equipped and convenient with laundry facilities very easy to use also. The large open living area includes kitchen and dining so we could all be together.

We stayed at the Douglas Modern Villa for a long weekend with 8 guys. We were in the area for an annual golf trip. This was the perfect property for our group. The pictures do not do it justice. The house is very large and well maintained. There was enough room for most everyone to have their own space. A few of us shared the bedroom with 3 twin beds, but it was comfortable. The yard is also massive with a great patio and fire pit. The neighborhood area seemed secluded and is very quiet. The house is just a short walk to the water and downtown Douglas. The walk to Sagatuck is reasonable (less than 1 mile). If you have a large group, consider this house! You won't be disappointed.

This property was everything advertised and more! The kitchen was very well appointed. The common areas were open which was great for a group of our size. We were able to walk to Saugatuck downtown in 20 minutes and Douglas was short 5 minute walk. Best spot for both. The rooftop patio was great for gathering with a beautiful view of the water. All bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. One teeny tiny comment, would be the furniture. A few thought there could be more comfortable chairs and the couch was a bit uncomfortable due to fact it was a deep seated couch; not easy on the back. That being said we will be back next year! Wonderful trip was had by all

Our family of 9...4 generations, stayed in this fabulous home for 4 nights. It featured well equipped kitchen, spacious backyard for play and lounging, game room, sun deck on the roof and comfortable beds and bathrooms for everyone. This property is absolutely stunning. Everything was so clean and organized, even the kitchen cupboards had labels on them, so that we could easily find everything. It was really nice having the laundry machine with provided detergent and fabric softener. It is about a 20 minute walk to downtown Saugatuck, which was really nice- they had lots of shops and restaurants. The bathrooms has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We loved the downstairs area with a pool table and foosball table. The outside area was great with lots of chairs for seating and a barbecue and grill. Alex was in communication with us before and during our stay, which was really helpful. We hope to stay here again.

We spent 3 days and 2 nights at this beautiful property in Saugatuck and absolutely loved every minute of it. The home was spotless, stylish, and even better than the photos! Everything we needed was provided, from a well-equipped kitchen to comfy beds and thoughtful little touches throughout.The location was perfect, quiet and peaceful. Our host was fantastic, very responsive, friendly, and made check-in a breeze. The house was perfect for our group, it was clean and modern. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Great location and beautiful view of the water. Everything we would need was provided by the owner. I wish it was a bit warmer outside to use those amenities but we still had a fabulous time. I would definitely book again.

Property was just as described. It was very well stocked with everything you may need. Loved the walking distance to downtown Douglas as well as a public fishing spot for my son. Only two negatives were the outside of the house/sitting area upstairs/windows were pretty dirty. Needs a good power wash. Also has an issue with the main TV upstairs and it was not fixed during our stay even though we asked for it to be.

There were 15 adults in our group - plenty of room for all of us for meals and conversation! Very clean. Sleeping accommodations were great - just be aware that the futon in the basement is barely a double size bed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and just about anything you could want in a kitchen and plenty of tableware - all cupboards were labeled! Worked out very well for our group.

Loved this house. We had a group of 10 and there was plenty of space for everyone!! The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and super clean when we arrived! Added bonus - The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept on!!

Enjoyed the stay here but stayed during the off season to be close to a house we are building across the street from here (so not your typical customer). It is a rather large place (probably too much for just one couple) but it is clean and modern, and the owner communicates very well and the check-in/check-out process is/was very smooth/straightforward. Best part of this place is the location, the wonderful large TV in the living room, and the upstairs deck. Internet has good speed, good water pressure for the shower we used and we enjoyed using the coffee maker. Things to improve on: -Probably best to get an ice machine, to make it easier to dispense and use ice, the trays and what was provided weren't in the best shape. -The fitted sheets for the king size bed were small and were coming off too easily. Probably just need to get better sheets that fit. -Would love to have had a fireplace, but I did see you had a firepit outside which was fine. Thank you again!

Had a wonderful stay in the modern villa! Fabulous location within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Very quiet and restful stay for our annual Girl’s Trip. Spacious rooms beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and upgraded bathrooms. Well stocked and large kitchen for cooking. Took full advantage of rooftop and back yard with fire pit. Easy drive to Saugatuck and Oval Beach.

Enjoyed the stay here but stayed during the off season to be close to a house we are building across the street from here (so not your typical customer). It is a rather large place (probably too much for just one couple) but it is clean and modern, and the owner communicates very well and the check-in/check-out process is/was very smooth/straightforward. Best part of this place is the location, the wonderful large TV in the living room, and the upstairs deck. Internet has good speed, good water pressure for the shower we used and we enjoyed using the coffee maker. The home is beautiful, extremely clean, well furnished, comfortable, and has a very well equipped kitchen. The location is walkable to downtown Douglas, and has lovely water views. We were a group of 15 and had plenty of space for sleeping, cooking, and dining. The backyard and roof deck are lovely as well. The hosts were extremely communicative and clear, and the check in and out processes were very easy. Overall a truly wonderful stay in Douglas.

One word to describe the house is ABUNDANCE. Lots of space for our group . Lots of items in every room. You name it and you will have it . And on top of all these, lot of info available in every place of the house . You don’t have to open each cupboard to see what’s in there. You don’t have to try which switch is for which light . And Alex will be checking on us to make sure we are doing good . That’s the gesture of a responsible property owner . Thanks Alex for maintaining the house in a clean and organized manner .

Wonderful home that comfortably housed 14 adults for a weekend. Located in Douglas MI - you could walk to restaurants and shopping. The home had everything we needed for our vacation. Property was just as described. It was very well stocked with everything you may need. Loved the walking distance to downtown Douglas as well as a public fishing spot for my son. Only two negatives were the outside of the house/sitting area upstairs/windows were pretty dirty. Needs a good power wash. Also has an issue with the main TV upstairs and it was not fixed during our stay even though we asked for it to be.

Was a friends get-together with 5 couples. The place was clean, modern and we enjoyed the time in Douglas and Saugatuck thoroughly. Downtown Douglas is steps away from the house. We were able to view the lake across the house from the living room and the terrace. Will come again if Alex has availability of the home, as the drive from Detroit is easy. Alex was a great host and all the information left was easy to follow.

We stayed at the Douglas Modern Villa for a long weekend with 8 guys. We were in the area for an annual golf trip. This was the perfect property for our group. The pictures do not do it justice. The house is very large and well maintained. There was enough room for most everyone to have their own space. A few of us shared the bedroom with 3 twin beds, but it was comfortable. The yard is also massive with a great patio and fire pit. The neighborhood area seemed secluded and is very quiet. The house is just a short walk to the water and downtown Douglas. The walk to Sagatuck is reasonable (less than 1 mile). If you have a large group, consider this house! You won't be disappointed.

This property was everything advertised and more! The kitchen was very well appointed. The common areas were open which was great for a group of our size. We were able to walk to Saugatuck downtown in 20 minutes and Douglas was short 5 minute walk. Best spot for both. The rooftop patio was great for gathering with a beautiful view of the water. All bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. One teeny tiny comment, would be the furniture. A few thought there could be more comfortable chairs and the couch was a bit uncomfortable due to fact it was a deep seated couch; not easy on the back. That being said we will be back next year! We had a family wedding at The Ravines and The Ivy House. This property was in the perfect location to those venues; plus walked to downtown Douglas and a 4 minute drive to downtown Saugatuck. The house was perfect for our group, it was clean and modern. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Great location and beautiful view of the water. This property is absolutely stunning. Everything was so clean and organized, even the kitchen cupboards had labels on them, so that we could easily find everything. It was really nice having the laundry machine with provided detergent and fabric softener. It is about a 20 minute walk to downtown Saugatuck, which was really nice- they had lots of shops and restaurants. The bathrooms has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We loved the downstairs area with a pool table and foosball table. The outside area was great with lots of chairs for seating and a barbecue and grill. Alex was in communication with us before and during our stay, which was really helpful. We hope to stay here again.

The Douglas modern villa is an incredibly well-appointed home full of every amenity needed for a great vacation. There were 15 adults in our group - plenty of room for all of us for meals and conversation! Very clean. Sleeping accommodations were great - just be aware that the futon in the basement is barely a double size bed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and just about anything you could want in a kitchen and plenty of tableware - all cupboards were labeled! Worked out very well for our group.

My family of 15 had the most AMAZING time at this property!! The home and location is beautiful! We had plenty of space and things to do right on the property.
