The rooms are really nice with a large bed, comfy linens, a big tv which you can sign in to Netflix through, and nice amenities. Downside was that I booked this hotel due to the advertised hot tub. No where on the property details did it list the fact the hot tub was a surcharge, there were no signs in the hotel and I was not told at checkin. It was only when I asked at reception why I could not open the door to the hot tub that I was told it was €7, per person for only half an hours use! I do find this excessive, particularly as a hot tub with no mention of a surcharge is listed as a feature of the hotel.

From the moment we walked in to checkin, we were greeted kindly by the front desk staff. My daughter fell in love with playing in the little kids area off the lobby. Our rooms were cool, comfortable and nicely updated. Our family enjoyed the restaurant, pool and sauna. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Costabella and were genuinely impressed. Although it’s a three-star hotel, it exceeded our expectations and felt much closer to a four-star experience. The hotel is clearly investing in continuous renovations and upgrades, and it really shows — the rooms are modern, clean, and well-equipped, and the landscaping around the pool area is beautifully maintained, making it a great spot to relax. The location is slightly outside the centre of Girona, but we actually enjoyed that — we’re quite active and loved running into town and exploring the nearby trails. It’s also an excellent base if you’re into cycling. The hotel offers secure bike storage with private lockers, which was perfect for our coworking setup while we were there. The gym was the only part that felt a little dated and could definitely benefit from an upgrade to match the quality of the rest of the hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel at home. The whole atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming — a perfect blend of comfort and practicality. We’d definitely recommend Hotel Costabella and would happily stay again!

We could not fault this hotel at all. The staff were fantastic, the food was excellent and having the lounge and honesty bar meant there was somewhere nice to sit and read in the C evenings when we didn’t want to venture out. We didn’t mind the 20 minute walk into town at all. We used the pool and the gym, both lovely. Would highly recommend

Excellent hotel. Had a quad, separate room with 2 beds for 2 teen kids. Very quiet rooms, comfortable beds, nice baths. Breakfast was good too. Pool was good temp. Jacuzzi was not filled for June. Gym has only a treadmill and cycle. Overall great stay and would again if we return.

Wonderful stay. Hotel was super clean and modern with high quality fixtures/fittings. Ample parking for the car. All staff were excellent, very helpful with anything we needed. The pool area was great, plus an honesty bar which was very handy and an efficient way of providing drinks and small snacks. Comfy bed, great Aircon, windows blocked out any noise from the road. Great location, close to town (about a 10/15 minute walk) accessible also by bus. Also...best patatas bravas I had all holiday. 10/10.

Lovely straightforward friendly modern hotel, newly and attractively refurbished. Very welcoming friendly staff who spoke excellent English and spent time explaining what was on offer. Spotlessly clean, newly refreshed and attractively furnished double room and ensuite, with very comfortable bed, I slept really well thanks also to the quiet aircon and blackout curtains. Great to have a small fridge in the room, and coffee making facilities - we also really liked the attractively laid out "honesty bar" in reception, and the range of items on offer. The hotel is conveniently located near a big supermarket, cafe and other local facilities but only about 20 minutes' walk from the centre of Girona. Will definitely stay in this hotel again if we get the chance to come back to this lovely area.

Our dog travels with us for a small supplement and he can sit in the lounge bar for evening meals/ breakfast. 15 minute walk into the city, nothing too tasking. Overall 10/10. Pilar on front desk very welcoming!

Staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and very modern with lighting, radio and blinds controlled by a panel. Honesty bar was a lovely addition. Breakfast was basic though and ran out of a lot of items. The two members of staff were working really hard but couldn’t keep up with replenishing the breakfast. Overall I would definitely return to this hotel.

The hotel really was everything we needed and more. It is a new hotel with an excellent finish, everything works as it should. The rooms are spacious, bathroom modern with good showers. The staff are extremely accommodating and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is ideally located around 5 minutes from the centre, equally we had some relaxing days around the pool which never got too crowded. Overall, an excellent stay.

We had such a fantastic stay at the Hotel Costabella. The bed was huge and very comfortable, the black- out blinds and the quiet location also helped us get a good nights sleep. The jacuzzi , sauna and gym areas were a real bonus and good value for money too. Staff were friendly and the free parking was also perfect for our trip. Would love to come back again one day and will be recommending Girona and the hotel Costabella to everyone I know!

Een heel mooi ingericht hotel met zwembad recht tegenover het ziekenhuis.op wandel afstand van het stadscentrum. Bushalte voor de deur. Zeer goed ontbijt en genoeg eigen parkeerplaatsen. Very happy with our stay. It’s a bit of a walk into town - allow 20 mins and there’s not a lot around where the actual hotel is. However the hotel itself is excellent with a friendly welcome and staff. Breakfast is excellent and well worth the price. My only complaint would be why the extra charge to use the gym. 5 euro for 30 mins is excessive.

Easy to access by car & easy to walk into town. Pool was great, albeit a little noisy as it is near a roundabout. Lunch excellent value for money, brilliant gluten free options. Great service. Breakfast plentiful, fresh, good choice. Rooms are reasonable. Next time I would take 2 rooms, rather than the 4 person room as the childrens room was a little small & gloomy, with no storage space. Great hotel and will definitely stay there again. All the staff were lovely and the hotel was nice, clean, and once in your room, quiet. I didn't realize that the pool had no heating, so that was a bit of a bite even in warm climes. Breakfast got a bit repetitive and the tongs were a bit gross. But this is minor!
