I been staying in hotel Galia over the past 7+ years. And the service used to be so amazing. However I am so disappointed from my recent stay as the service is no way near where it used to be. Spa closed on Monday, yesterday 12.30 and sauna, steam, and ice rooms where off, shower water pressure very weak, Staff not like in the past, car drop off service went from S class and Maserati to mini van and I waited for it for over 20min and it never showed up and staff were very unhelpful - not even apologetic.

Upon my arrival, I was checked in to a room with mold and cigarette burns on couches and a terrible smell in a room. I have informed staff that I will not be staying in this room in a hotel that holds a LUXURY collection line and charging visitors minimum of $420 a night. I was asked to stay in room while they are working on correcting the issue. 1,5hrs later, I have come to front desk, where all staff looked surprised about my concern and complaint. I showed photos of room condition to reception and hotel manager was not available to speak to. I was asked to give them 4-5 hrs to find another room for me. I wanted to cancel my reservation and move to a different hotel, however I was informed that since I booked a bundle deal with Expedia, I am not able to cancel or get a refund for part of hotel and payment of $2100 stays with hotel. In about 6hrs I was given a room, that still had a strong cigarette smell. Bathtub had dust all over and so did coffee machine. All photos were send to Expedia agent, who informed me that it will take 24-72 hrs to take care of my issue to this day with NO resolution! But to make matters worse - last two day of my stay Hotel had NO HOT water and absolutely unapologetic they said we left some nuts and dry fruits in your room for inconvenience. I only wish I could upload photos to my review, so no one gets to experience what I have been through. Choose a different property and actually get to enjoy your Milan experience.

Quality finishings and housekeeping is tip top. Staff also very efficient and helpful. Breakfast was a fantastic spread and freshly pressed juices. Impressed. No street noise even though we were on level 2, and by the Central Station.

The staff and in room dining was exceptional but the hotel was dirty with dirty shower and stained carpets. Valet parking gave us the key and said they could not locate our car and asked us to walk through the lot and find our own car which was very strange.

The lighting in the room was a problem. When you turn off "all" the lights... there are dozens of very bright LEDs that you can not turn off. On both sides of the bed, the TV, the HVAC unit on the wall, and when you make even the slightest movement in the room, automatically the bathroom lights turn on and so does the "night lights".... Not good when you are trying to sleep. Sleep should be fulfilled in a dark room, not one with dozens of lights. Additionally, the main light in the ceiling wouldn't turn off as it was supposed to. It just stayed on. I called the front and they spoke to me like I was dumb/confused "you just turn the light off and it goes off" - then I explained and they sent maintenance. Took them 30 minutes to get someone to the room at 11 PM when we were trying to sleep. Then he wasn't able to fix the light and told us to "wait until tomorrow" we slept with the light on all night. We stayed at this hotel for 1 night and this was our experience in the room... Also, no Netflix or streaming. Just basic news tv channels. The hotel was nice, but the staff, the lighting, and the tv in the room have lots of opportunity for improvement.

I really wanted to stay in this hotel as I had seen it when I last visited Milan. From the outside, it really is stunning. It was perfectly fine inside, just maybe starting to show the age of the last internal renovation. That said, the room was comfortable, particularly the bed and the bathroom was fabulous. Can’t beat the location either, just beside the spectacular central station

Room 226 has great views over central station. Room size was spacious with all the amenities of chargeable mini bar, slippers, shoe shine etc. very comfortable big bed. Bathroom was well equipped with toiletries, shower cap, vanity pack. There was also plenty of towels too. Rain fall shower head needs changing and it’s very hard and difficult to open the tap for the shower. It was very stiff and had no grip. Shame during our stay the main restaurant was closed for refurbishment. Breakfast was good with variety but no vegetarian or halal sausages. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

This was such a great hotel, and convenient as it is next to the main train station. My view from the room was excellent, I could not have asked for more. Room was comfortable, the bed, pillows everything was perfect. Quiet throughout the day and was able to sleep.

The property was excellent . Service was excellent. The only issue in the new part of the Hotel where we stayed in a lovely corner room the streetcars run almost 24 hours 7 days a week . Very noisy . Get a room on the other side of the hotel and it will be perfect

Poor treatment received upon check in. I called at 7am that morning to request a room with two beds. I was with my mother and arrived at 12:00pm our room was not ready until 4pm. After being told it would be ready at 2:00pm. I am a titanium member and was treated rudely by front desk manager and then screamed at by the front desk staff when I asked for a water while waiting. Caused me to miss an important meeting that was scheduled in advance.

I am so disappointed, I booked a room in this hotel with a lot of time in advance, and planned to stay there with my friends, but when the day came, I was told that they couldn’t provide me with a room and they told me two different stories as of “why”. This proved that they simply decided to cancel my reservation, probably for someone that payed a last minute over priced room. I will never come back to this hotel, nor I recommend it as it was an inconvenience for our trip logistics and no one cared. Very dissatisfied with how they handled things. If I would have canceled, they wouldn’t refund my money, but in this case, they didn’t wanted to refund my money. Very unprofessional!

Overall a great location to access all that Milan has to offer. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful especially concierge and the bar team on the 7th floor. The room was a good size and of a high standard. Only area of improvement is the breakfast which wasn’t of the standard one would expect of a hotel of this quality.

We had an expensive room with a view. We ordered pizza and it came partially cold. Seemed the pizza was a frozen pizza and heated up in the oven and was watery on bottom. Also there was a noise in the bathroom that clicks on a regular basis and we had to close the bathroom door at night. The room also had a weird smell that was not very pleasant. The property was fine. Dining options for such a large hotel are very miniscule. This is more for a place to come for a drink at the roof than staying overnight. Our experiences staying at high end hotels are usually much more pleasant than this. Roof is nice.

Good location. Room small but reasonably well equipped apart from tea. Only 1 teabag on 1st morning. None on 2nd morning. Asked at reception and received 3 on 3rd morning. Rooftop bar closed for a private party on 2nd evening. Both bars closed for private parties on 3rd evening. Extremely poor that they don’t prioritise their paying hotel guests. At €500 per night this is very poor. We had a bottle of wine in our room. We may as well have been at home.
