We enjoyed our stay! Hotel was perfect and room was so big and you felt you can move freely, and if you take room with city view it will be all worth it. Room was also very clean and we loved our room coffee, it was also one of the most comfortable bed ever! Hotel was located in perfect area with your own elevator entry to the mall and Mtr-train was really close. We enjoyed walking so we walked to victoria harbour, admiralty etc. I would def recommend this to anyone. - One thing we didint like that swimming pool was closing at 18:00 which was very early and those times we were always out, so we couldnt use swimming pool at all. They should be open until 21:00 atleast

This is a newer hotel (2024). Location is excellent with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Conveniently located near the Wan Chai subway station. The price we got per night seemed really reasonable. Rooms were big. The housekeeping was excellent. Hot tip: They charge different amounts for the same room based on floor level. I would suggest there is not great benefit to being on a higher floor. The lobby is on floor 19 so all the rooms are quite high up. I was moved to a new room that was promised to be an 'upgrade' due to a plumbing issue. However, the new room was exactly the same as the old room just on a different floor. I suggest getting the room you want at the cheapest price. The breakfast buffet is well worth the price. We didn't get a room with it included but ended up having it every day as it's super convenient with a wide variety of food. You are a little bit elevator bound because you are waiting with everyone else for one. The pool seemed to be out of order a lot during our stay and the gym seemed poorly equipped by western standards if you asked me. However, we were staying there for access to the city and for that, it served very well. Would stay again.

Luxury stay for a few nights. Clean and very spacious room, lots of in room amenities including fridge, coffee machine and hot water dispenser! Traditional kettle is kept in a cupboard with ice bucket. Comfortable arm chairs and large coffee table, with large desk for those on business trips. Amazing shower very powerful relaxing rain head feature. Good ambient light options to rooms and ensuite. Hotel is located above Hopewell shopping mall and concierge is on L18 with reception in L19. Split level lifts and entrances takes getting use to. There is also a multi story car park on site next to L18 concierge. Check in/out no issues great attentive staff, breakfast buffet we did try one morning as paying walk in, recommend to try at least once during your stay and as the food quality on offer and presentation is on par with rest of the hotel services. Small gym, with sauna, steam room and outdoor pool. Location is bit far out but still 5-10min walkable to wai chai MTR and ding ding tram / bus routes.

Our stay at Hopewell Hotel Hong Kong was excellent. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety to start the day. The room and bathroom were spacious, spotless, and very well maintained. The bed and pillows was very comfortable. What truly stood out was the staff—their professionalism, helpfulness, and warm smiles made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay, and we would happily return.

Room was clean, housekeeping had done an exceptional job in keeping my room clean and tidy. Hotel Lobby staff is friendly and helpful. Staff on the 18/fl was exceptionally courteous, diligent and organized. The only drawback was the inconvenience of getting to my room via different elevator rides. It was quite confusing for senior travellers.

I complained. It was typhoon. I sat in the room while the cleaning lady cleaned my room. She took my dirty cups and she was rinsing it in my toilet sink. The water was running a long time. I asked her why she was using a tissue to wipe my wet cups, why she is not replacing the dirty cups. She said no need to replace new cups. I called the manager to complain. A staff came to tell me that she is a new staff. I said I do not care. I am living in this hotel for 4 days 3 nights. I cannot use dirty cups I will get sick. I said this is a one star hotel and not a 5 star hotel. I was very angry.

The hotel lobby is on the 19th floor, with the rooms located even higher. The only minor quirk is the access: you must first walk through a mall on the 3rd floor and then take a separate elevator to the 19th. Other than that, everything was excellent. The location is incredibly convenient—directly across from Wanchai MTR station and a short walk from a market. Our room was new, spacious, and had a great city view. We especially liked the free ice machine and the amazing shower, which had fantastic pressure and instantly hot water. Check-in/out was quick and efficient. A great tip: visit the Food Parc supermarket on the 15th floor for delicious, affordable sushi packs to enjoy in your room. As a family, we were pleased to be given two rooms directly opposite each other. Well done! 👍

Beautiful rooms with 2 bathrooms and a washer/dryer. Excellent showers/tub. Well lit everywhere. Air conditioning can be adjusted to your liking. On top of a mall and a really great grocery store. Pickleball courts at the mall with open play. The staff is very helpful with taxi, wine opener, lighter comforter. Gym is very nice. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and metro. Breakfast could be better compared to others on our trip. Highly recommend this hotel.

Conveniently located in Wanchai area. Lots of restaurants nearby. However, getting in and out of the hotel is rather inconvenient as you will need to change elevators. Service isn’t top notch. Before arrival, I have already communicated via WhatsApp that we have booked 7 rooms ranging from 3 nights to 8 nights and are bringing my parents from Canada to Hong Kong to celebrate my parents 70th wedding anniversary. I mentioned I hope they will make this a memorable event for my parents. However, that isn’t the case and the experience is only average.

This hotel is brand new and it is super clean! It is in a very convenient location, and there are a ton of restaurants around. However, what set this hotel apart is the staff. They are so courteous and kind. My 80 year parents stayed for 5 nights during Chinese New Year, and they went above and beyond to assist my parents. Very impressed! We will definitely stay here again when we visit Hong Kong next time.

Everything was great. The staff is very friendly. Location is great. Lots to see, shop and eat. The only regret was their dry clean service. I had one of my silk pant sent for dry clean. The form was marked for dry clean. The pant was washed instead as you can smell the detergent. The laundering shrank the pants, washed out the color. The staff obviously was not able to do anything except refund the dry clean portion of the bill. It was one of my favorite go to travel pants. Perfect for HK s hot & humid weather. This was a nuisance as I have 3 more weeks in Asia and count on wearing & cleaning the pants as I pack light. Oh well.

I spent great 4 nights at this hotel. Their service was amazing; nice attitude of receptionist, flexible housekeeping, so on. There might be two points to improve. 1. Efficiency of check-in and check-out. Especially long queue of check-in was absolutely frustrating. 2. Smell of the room. I’m not sure it was really smell of smoking. But I felt the smell like smoking in the bedroom.

The hotel was nice. It's a bit of work to get to the hotel - you need to either go through a mall or climb a steep hill (it's Wan Chai, so that's pretty unavoidable). Staff was excellent. Facilities were excellent.

The property is great and your central point in Wan Chai, your virtually 5 mins away from the MTR and tram system. Theres a great choice of shopping either in the plaza or down onto the high street that has a great western style too. Not only that your close to the side street of Hong Kong market which is fantastic. It's accessible the hotel location to travel or walk to causeway bay or admiral. The property is fantastic, clean and very modern. Aside the property the hotel reception service, valet to the house keepin aree extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel is highly recommend if your staying on Hong Kong island and personal would be rebooking on our next visit.

We had an enjoyable week’s stay at Hopewell Hotel. It’s located in a central part of Wan Chai, accessible via MTR, buses and trams. The room was very spacious for a HK hotel, staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is set above a small shopping mall so finding the lobby and entrance/exit when you first arrive can be slightly difficult. It requires 2 sets of lifts before you reach the main hotel lobby.

The stay at Hopewell was great. Clean and spacious room with great view and service. It was connected to shopping mall, supermarket, cafes and restaurants in the mall which was very convenient. It was only 5 min walk to the nearest station which is Wan Chai station. A lot of shops and restaurants outside of hotel too. Definitely want to stay again when I return to Hong Kong.

I’m giving this hotel a low rating because, due to circumstances beyond my control, my flight was canceled that day. Even though I notified them two days in advance, they told me their policy no longer applied and still made me lose my money. What’s more frustrating is that I ended up staying an extra night at the same hotel, which I had to pay for separately—and at a much higher rate. On top of that, the food was expensive, poor quality, and took way too long to be delivered to my room. For the price they charge, I expected much better service and taste. I understand that policies exist, but I believe hotels should show more understanding in situations like this, especially when the guest had no control over the situation and gave advance notice. A little more empathy and flexibility would go a long way
