Property is very clean, staff are always working constantly at cleaning or maintaining something. Staff is all very nice, positive, upbeat, always welcoming and greeting you as you walk past. Vest hotel I’ve ever stayed un. The spa is amazing! Plan to spend a lot of time there before or after your scheduled service. I didn’t realize how much you can do. Adult only pool, family pool and kids pool which was great. Lots of outdoor activities like pickleball, ping pong, chess other things too.

Absolutely beautiful property! Wonderful staff all throughout resort. Attention to detail in the rooms- very comfortable bed and pillows, magnifying mirror and nightlight in the bathroom, oversized soaking tubs, separate shower, fridge, comfortable chair and ottoman, balcony. Views on both sides and so many available amenitites. They also have a shuttle into town. When staying in Coronado, this is the place we will always come back to again and again.

We spent two nights and three days at the Loews Coronado Resort and had a great time! We traveled with my 3, 6, and 10 year-old boys and they had a blast! They had three pools, corn hole, jumbo connect four, pickleball courts, and great kid-friendly options for food and snacks. There is a state beach directly across from the resort, and the resort offers beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels! We stayed in a king bay suite that was very spacious and comfortable for our family! We will definitely come back!

Nice resort. Clean. Easy to get to downtown Coronado and San Diego. Lots of paths for walking and biking. Beach across the resort within walking distance. Can’t swim off that beach water quality it bad there.

Beautiful property facing San Diego Bay with views of downtown and Coronado Bridge. Rooms are spacious , we were upgraded to queen partial bay view with balcony as Expedia VIP. Huge bathroom with standup shower and large soaker tub. The grounds and pool are gorgeous. Each building has its own themed garden, we enjoyed strolling around. Nice views of the bay from the property as well , right beside a marina you can book boats and bicycles. Unfortunately tennis courts were converted to pickleball. Parking is super convenient each building has an elevator with direct access to “semi-underground”. Unfortunately, garage noise can be heard for bay view rooms as the garage not completely closed off. Windows and sliding door will cutout majority of the garage noise. We found this a minor inconvenience. Seems this is a popular hotel for conferences, weekday stays may be crowded. Hotel was fully booked on Friday and much less busy on the weekend. Overall we would highly recommend.

Surprised at the $35 /day resort fee and then to be charged another $35/day fee to use the gym/spa locker room, steam& sauna. The hotel is somewhat dated and run down in parts. For instance the spa locker room had showers w clogged drains & bathrooms w metal fixtures were corroded in places. Also ceilings of locker rooms showed signs of leaking and pack work. Not as well maintained as one would expect for rate. Also, just one option for coffee in the morning w long lines. Luxury hotel should also offer complimentary drip coffee - esp if charging a daily resort fee. Plants throughout were neglected and needed water. Bell men & pool staff were super friendly

Rooms and bathrooms need updating! Need more charging stations in the rooms. The only way to charge our phones on the night stands was a small extension cord on the floor. Our shower had a long rust stain on the tile. The showers just looked dirty. The wallpaper in the bathrooms were peeling and the countertops had stains. I expected more! Our Hampton Inn had a more updated and clean bathrooms. Our TV remote wasn’t working properly on the second day. For the price we pay, there should be microwaves in the rooms. The customer service was exceptional though! I absolutely love being able to text when I had a question or request and they were very prompt. The gym was great but my son was disappointed that the free weights only went up to 55 lbs. The pools were very clean and we loved that they were heated during the day. We loved that there were lawn chair covers, complimentary sunblock (because we ran out) and aloe vera. The food by the pool was ok and overpriced! Overall, we had a nice relaxing stay but the biggest complaint for me are the room bathrooms!

We have been coming to Loews Coronado for the last 5 years. And honestly it needs some TLC. Carpet in rooms are filthy. Showers were a bit moldy. Some of the furniture needs to be replaced. Walkways around pool are a bit slippery. We witnessed at least 3 people slip and fall. Also The Cantina is very understaffed and overwhelmed. Chef Adrian was AMAZING! He went above and beyond making a custom cake for my grandson’s birthday!!

The hotel staff were wonderful, as usual. My room had adjoining doors with the room next to me, which I hadn't ever had. The people slammed doors all night, which was loud and disturbing. But, other than that my stay was wonderful.

The room was large and the beds very comfortable. Nice hotel but further from Coronado island than expected. You definitely need a car. I prepaid $10 for parking and got valet right in front. The guy was so nice and friendly. So was the lady at the front desk. Nice hotel and entrance. Big balcony. The only outdated thing were the doors to the rooms which of course is a cosmetic thing. Priced very nicely compared to hotels on Coronado island

The entrance and lobby is beautiful but the rooms are so outdated. The property outside of our room #4125555 was very dirty. No one has swept there or cleaned the lamp posts. They were full of bird poop. The street light shines in the room all night. The fridge doesn't get really cold. The toilet makes way too much noise. I hope you get these things fixed.

We are very disappointed. First issue was they ran about 5 of my husbands credit cards and all were declined and then 2 of mine were declined. I have you know we have excellent credit and money is not the issue. We both called our banks and the banks told us they never even got the opportunity to to refuse payment and that the Loews pos system must be not working . . When I told the service desk this they said oh it’s working fine. So we gave cash deposit to stay here. The pool looks cloudy and dirty and we went to jacuzzi and it was broken. Overall it seemed to be a big wate of time and ninety. We asked for a room with a pool view and they gave us one of he bay., when we called and said we asked for a pool view room they said oh we gave you an upgrade. One disappointment after another. Worse than that , I don’t appreciate being embarrassed in front of everyone at the desk with the credit card scene. This is all completely unacceptable.

I paid for an ocean view room thinking that I would have the nice bath tub and the lower price rooms had the nice bath tubs I had a regular bath tub. I was very disappointed and the front desk staff could care less.

Cindy at the reception desk was AMAZING. I mean wow.. ssoooo nice and super accommodating. My fiancé and I were celebrating his 50th, she upgraded our room, gave us discounts at the spa. She also directed us to some great restaurants in the area. She really enjoys her job and we enjoyed her, thank you Cindy!!

Cleaning Staff were very helpful and accessible. Front Desk was short staffed and there was always a line to wait in to speak with someone. Spa Menu not available anywhere that we could find other than "at the Spa" Location of Resort Spa, Gym, Shuttle PU time & place all found out from other guests NOT HOTEL Nothing posted other then arrow on sign.

I loved this hotel. It’s beautiful & clean. The service was amazing. The staff delightful. Everyone I met was so friendly, helpful & kind. From Valet to front desk, managers, cleaning staff, coffee shop & pool restaurant staff. Everyone made my stay wonderful. The ocean view room was enjoyable. The bathroom was large. I would definitely stay there again. It was close to everything.

This was our first time staying at Loews. We love Coronado, and San Diego in general, and live about an hour away so it’s always a nice getaway. This hotel is about 5 miles past hotel Del Coronado just across from Silver-strand Beach. It’s beautiful and quiet the electric bike rentals at the property made it very easy and reasonable to rent and “ride” into town. We were initially assigned a room above the pool, which was extremely loud. We immediately went to the front desk and they accommodated our request for a quieter room. I appreciate the staff in their accommodations who compensated us with food and drink credit. It was unnecessary, but complimentary and very kind. We booked through Expedia and selected a king room with a Bay view. My best recommendation would be to call ahead of time and make sure that it’s actually the room you are assigned. We ate in town so I cannot comment the restaurants other than The Cays, which we enjoyed in the evening, sitting by a fire, under bulb lights, overlooking the bay. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel.

I arrived with my son to visit my other son at college. The room had one bed and we asked for two. No one was available for three hours while we sat in the room and waited. We couldn’t get anyone on the phone for room service and never heard back from the front desk about a room change.

We liked the seclusion, very quiet. The bar area/lounge is amazing. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the bay & Coronado bridge. Staff was EXCELLENT & very helpful. Although the hotel is 5 miles away from the actual city, the drive back & forth is not bad & very scenic.

Nice place with bigger rooms than the Del Coronado but you have to drive to get anywhere. Pool area nice enough and two jacuzzis a plus. Front desk staff were great. Elevator was out in our building and we had to take the smelly service elevator for the three day trip. Parking is crowded and expensive, with no street parking options. Comfy bed and view was good

The hotel facilities were fine, nothing special. The location was not convenient although they do run afternoon/evening shuttles to town. The biggest complaint was that the food at the hotel restaurants was marginal at best. The "beef stroganoff" was probably among the worst meals I've ever been served in a restaurant. Shredded beef on pasta with a large glob of sour cream on top. Dreadful.

Staff was awesome, very helpful if you wanted anything you had it immediately, room service was quick. The only downside was dining, only one restaurant so no choices unless you wanted to go into town by tram (no car). Would I stay there again absolutely.

We booked our stay at Loews for our honeymoon. The staff were all very kind, welcoming and accommodating, especially since our flight was significantly delayed coming in. The resort's onsite restaurant (Crown Landing) had phenomenal food. It also had several outside seating areas with perfect views. We loved our time there and cannot wait to come back.
