Quality Inn Long Beach - Signal Hill

Staff was very professional and friendly. The breakfast was okay. However, the rooms require a lot of maintenance. The windows lock was broken. With windows gaining access to the outside, this leads to a major security risk. The bathroom door had multiple screw holds and was old and dirty.

Great experience, beds need to be a bit better.

The only issues with this hotel were mine. The staff were super friendly. The rooms were clean. There is no elevator, so if you need one, make sure you request a first floor room. I was accommodated quickly. The pool/hot tub were locked. Breakfast was simple, but good. Scrambled eggs and sausage. One of my issues was the pot smoking. I don't mind it if I don't have to breathe it also. Smelled like a family of skunks invaded the hotel. The room was loud. The hotel is right on PCH. You can hear all the traffic. The curtains and the door. There was about a 2 inch gap on the curtains that wouldn't close that anyone outside could look into the room. The door always looked cracked open. It wasn't. It was locked, but the light coming from around the door made it look open. I was terrified the whole first night. There was nothing that could have been done by staff for this things. Didn't go into my stars.

Good spot during Grand prix weekend
