Didn't like the abandoned motel right next door. Dirty elevators. It looked like the owner was not really interested in this motel. Looked kind of crummy. I'd say "skip it."

This hotel was disgusting. The hallways smelled very bad. A sickly smell. Musty or something. Room had the same smell. We had to crank the air and open the window to air it out. Gym equipment was out of order. Breakfast was ok but didn’t really feel great eating there as tables were all sticky and the smell turned us off. Front desk girl was not overly friendly. Room was not overly clean and hallways and elevator needed a good cleaning. Would never stay in this hotel again or recommend it to anyone.

Great front desk-reception. Polite, excellent service. No water available in lobby or anywhere to fill a water bottle. Vending machine with snack only takes coins -no bills, no credit cards. Vending machine for drinks was on a different floor entirely, only took bills and half the drinks were empty.

Having a kitchen was boom! The price was right for what we had. I’d going to a concert though. Leave super early!! For a 9-12 min drive took us well over an hour. Going back took 9 mins just a heads up

The property was decent. There was a dirty tub with a ring around it. Good thing my girlfriend and I brought cleaning products. There are no microwaves In the rooms. The beds are super soft which and be a plus or a minus for some people. They have good standard hotel breakfast.

This property is in need of renovations. The whole property smells dirty and dusty like the carpet holding many years of dirt. Our room smelled worse. It smelled smoky and bathroom tiles had black stains between them. My son stepped on a sharp piece of plastic next to his bed. After that, none of us wanted to take our shoes off. We left after the first night of a 3 night reservation.

Location is best attribute. Otherwise not recommended. Maintenance is poor. Rugs, elevator buttons, even light switch in bathroom dirty. Bed linens had a funky smell. Housekeeping remade room after multiple asks. New linens better but worn and no clean towels left to replace used ones. Nonsmoking floor but room had faint smoke odor. No coffee in lobby when restaurant is open!! Overall feel is grimy, neglected, worn out. Will not stay in a Choice hotel again. This was a budget choice where hotels are pricey but you get what you pay for.

We stayed here in mid July. Not only was the staff rude, there was black mold (a health hazard) in the bathroom, other stains in the room, and trash left behind from the previous stay (like a water bottle). The beds also did not smell right. I don’t believe they ever clean, at least not well. Absolutely do not recommend - avoid at all costs. I’d honestly like a refund or to escalate the matter further because this was such an uncomfortable stay.

Hotel was dirty everywhere. Shower had hair in it. Faucet on bathroom vanity was completed detached and the hot and cold water were reversed. Shower head leaked and sprayed water up onto ceiling.

This place is perfect for us when visiting UConn. Room and bathroom, which is very tiny was clean. Sink is in the room. Love having the mini fridge. Price reasonable. Closet is large but door is awkward. Perfect for short stay. Old hotel next door is an eyesore.

Access to this hotel was easy. There was no channel listing on the TV. The room fan was noisy. The pushbutton switch on the lamp next to the two beds was functional but in need of replacement. At check out I did report these anomalies to the clerk at the front desk.

Room 222 Decent , location by the highway I could hear cars alllll night , stores in a drive access, ample parking , decent free breakfast , lobby clean and modern , everything else not so much. I can tell it’s old but serves the purpose. Shower hot, great free lotion shampoo products. Beds and pillows very comfortable . Would stay again for the price and area. Didn’t see any bugs or roaches. Lady who cleans for breakfast has a great work ethic. Used a fold up bed , horrible for sleeping. Lots of visual defects but nothing that would make me leave a bad review.

Breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly. The hotel was also very close to Downtown Hartford. The rooms needed updating. The desk chair was peeling and the rooms needed fresh paint and new carpet. The room was damp, so the carpet was damp and needed to be cleaned.

It's kind of a dive. There was a Patch in the bath tub and discoloration on the ceiling. The elevator was dirty and the floor was coming apart. The man who checked us in didn't even make eye contact or smile.

The lady at the front desk was very friendly. She was the most positive part about my stay. The bed was very worn and sunk in. I was ok with it, I found it to be comfortable, but you could tell it was old and some people may find that awkward. The photo may not show the dip in the bed that well. My biggest concerns were that the doors in each room slam REALLY hard and it’s loud. Doors slam every 5 minutes and it makes it difficult to sleep. The housekeeping yell to each other in the AM and that’s also difficult to sleep through. There’s signs everywhere that says no smoking but the place smells of marijuana and locals come there to party. I found a couple spots of blood on bathroom door and the curtain which I didn’t find until you was about to check out otherwise I would’ve asked for a different room. Cleanliness in the rooms could’ve been better. The hotel was a great location, only like 6 minutes from the convention center. Overall not a bad stay but I don’t know if I’d be back due to the cleanliness and the noises from the doors.

It was not clean, the shower was clogged and water pooled in the tub. The sign on the front desk said all rooms would be cleaned on Saturday and ours was not. When I called for new towels they said we had to make an appointment to have the room cleaned... although it was Saturday. We arrived on Fri. night and part of our party was already in the room. We asked for a second key and it was immediately give to us -- we were never asked for id or even our name, just what room and the key was given to us -- how unsafe is that??? We blocked the door with a suitcase when we got in just in case they gave another key to our room to anyone.

Convenient location, however please keep staff at the front desk. Should not be standing there for 5-10 minutes trying to get someone’s attention. Also became very frustrating after a long day to get to our room, none of our keys were working and had to go all the way back downstairs to be asked “when are you checking out” as if that shouldn’t have already been known. Otherwise staff at breakfast were nice, African American guy was very helpful (can’t remember his name) but he deserves to be mentioned.

Last night there we were up all night with people in the hallway screaming and yelling profanities and fighting. Our truck was broken into window smashed and so we’re other vehicles in the parking lot , no one seemed surprised , local police stated that it is an ongoing issue in the area and at this hotel .

I was here on orders for the Army. While I was asleep, my car was parked outside of their parking lot thinking that it was safe to leave it there. I woke up to the front desk calling me that the police were here to speak to me because someone had stolen my tires off my car. The hotel waited 6 hours to finally report it to the police and there is no way they didn't see it because my car was parked practically in front of their front desk. I spoke with someone from corprate and they basically were trying to wash their hands of this situation. I have never once ever stayed at a hotel and felt this unsafe. I had put my orders on hold to fix this problem and now I have to pay for this when I am specifically trying to save money. Please do not stay here unless you are trying to get robbed.

It was fine. Nothing fancy. Just decent pricing and a clean room . Quiet. Breakfast was Ok. Eggs not very good, think its a powder mix, but they have decent variety of cereals and breads for toast. But for the price, clean rooms and location it's a good place to stay.
