Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cocoa Beach by IHG

Shower heads both barely put out a trickle of water. Both took 5 minutes to get warm, and never got hot. Elevator broke leaving us to carry luggage up 4 flights of stairs

We spoke to Manager days before arrival and was advised they would have room ready. It was not. Pool is a lot smaller than the picture looks. Elevator was not working so you had to use the stairs

Ceiling leaking in lobby and outside at the entrance was damaged.pool area was poorly taken care of and broken

Property was clean and safe. Nice pool and small hot tub. Employees were nice and it’s walking distance to the beach.

I paid extra for this hotel compared to others around without knowing the area. It looked nice in the pictures! Shortly after we arrived our door handle fell off, locking my husband in the room and he couldn’t get out. Then our key card stopped working but we couldn’t get that fixed because they were too busy with assisting others because the elevator was broken. We were on the 4th floor and had to carry our luggage down the stairs to check out. It was chaotic with two kids. Only good thing was the breakfast and the room was decent.

Very friendly and very helpful staff! They kept us informed of local happenings. The pool area was great! The hot tub is small.

So I choose a water view, when I checked in I had the view of the roof and I was upgraded to that room. Expedia had no idea of the elevator being down, so I still paid full price ($250 estimated) on the 3rd floor and the room amenities were very limited we couldn’t even get Netflix. Just went with basic cable. The pool was extremely small compared to the picture online. Overall, the price for what we received was way too high.

No hot breakfast. Was told by a staff member that oven had been broken for past two weeks. Owner not sure if was going to repair or replace. Heater in pool not working on our last 2 days

The beds are so comfy and the staff is very helpful. The pool is a little dirty but it's sand from the beach so it's understandable.

The room was modern and clean. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet in the morning was good. The hot tub was nice.

The property was under construction and full of dust. The noise from the construction kept me from sleeping. The pool shower, vending machines and juice machine was out of order. Out of order signs was the common denominator throughout the hotel.

There was ant infestation in the room so we were moved to another room with ants and was told this was the last room so he sprayed it. After midnight air conditioner started making loud sound and fridge went out ruining our food. Next day more ants and TV went out. Air conditioner replaced, fridge replaced and cord for TV replaced. Still ants and manager would not call us but offered a different room after all of this and we were to checkout the next morning. I’ve never had this many issues in one stay. I requested a refund and food be replaced that was ruined. This was horrible but the staff tried to assist and was nice

We arrived late in, the staff at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming and made the check in easy, the rooms are very very clean and spacious.

A very overpriced room for what you get. The room had a moldy/musty feel to it. Lots of construction going on on the floor we stayed on. Room/ bathroom was not overly clean. We stayed there the night before getting on a cruise for the convenience of the location. Not worth the money. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful though.

The couch that was supposed to be sleeping area didn’t look very clean so we didn’t even let our child sleep on it

WiFi didn’t work, elevator was not working and key stopped working so had to go up/down 4 flights. AC was broken in the room. Then got a dismissive apology by the front desk

Room 310 is a really good room… the view is bad but the massive shower and soft bed make up for it.,

I was very unimpressed with this hotel. It does not deserve the very high rating it has. The power outlets next to the bed in our “recently renovated “ room didn’t work reliably. We asked for housekeeping one morning and they just never came. When I asked at the front desk that evening they said housekeeping had already gone home and there was nothing they could do about it. I ended up borrowing the front desk vacuum so I could clean my room myself! The pool is tiny with a view of a grocery store parking lot. The suite was also tiny - we couldn’t fold out the couch bed without blocking the door! I will not stay here again.

Our room was recently renovated so it was very nice. The hotel is within 2 blocks of the famous pier and beach and easily walked to. The breakfast bar had a great selection. Staff were helpful and friendly. I’d stay there again.

The property is absolutely beautiful and within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. The rooms were renovated and very stylish and clean. The beds were so comfortable and the staff was so helpful! I would definitely return to this hotel!!!! I loved it!!! So did my daughter!!!

Water pressure low and shower water wasn’t very hot

This is my 3rd Holiday Inn Express in 2 months. What I like: 24-hour coffee, great breakfast, and usually ample water supply. I also really love the pools and the staff has been super friendly at all the properties I've been to, including this one. The rooms do seem to be clean, beds comfy and extra pillows. This particular property: our room which was a king suite I guess and a little wonky. The door for the bathroom is not placed well, the toilet is extremely tall, like more than an ADA toilet and there was no dresser to put clothes in, only a small closet. We laid our clothes on top of the two drawer chest they have. But the two drawers were full of extra bedding and pillows and all the way at the bottom. Also, for the ladies, don't plan on doing more than simple makeup as lighting is not great. And in this bathroom, not really enough counter space. Overall, yes the room was wonky but adequate. My only other critique is the paint they chose for the doors (under construction hotel) is not appealing but also, the paint job is messy. And they really need a completely different color for the elevator. It's the same as the rooms. I walked past it nearly every time. They had bottled water available so that was great since they dont have a water fountain like the other properties. I go through a ton of water. I wojmd stay here again though. Easy walk to the beach and lots of restaurants and shops, and next door to a Publix.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cocoa Beach and had an absolutely wonderful experience. While the facilities and location were fantastic, what truly stood out was the staff. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that made us feel like we were right at home. The front desk team in specific John, Niko & G went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering helpful recommendations for local dining and attractions. A special shout-out to all 3 of these amazing employees for their personalized touch, making sure we had everything we needed and even helping us with a few special requests. Throughout our stay, they were incredibly attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with a positive attitude. It’s rare to find such a cohesive and dedicated team, and it made our time at the hotel so much more enjoyable. There’s no doubt in my mind that my family and I will be back and I’ll be recommending this hotel to everyone and anyone I know! As an Executive Financial Director of a company in multiple states I will certainly be recruiting all 3 of these employees if I have an opportunity to open a location in the area! It’s hard to find decent employees let alone employees that go above and beyond and that’s exactly what these 3 employees did for my family and friends. Hotel staff at check in not friendly and quite rude to not only me but other guests. Felt very rushed . This was from the African American gentlemen around 2pm

The staff at this property had the best customer service that I have experienced in a long time! Every single person was friendly, helpful, and greeted you with a smile! The person that checked us in was so wonderful. She is the only person that has ever offered us an upgrade associated with our VIP status. My handicap mother was with us and she offered an upgrade to a room that had better sleeping arrangements for her after our long drive. She showed concern and compassion because she saw that she was having a hard time. I wish I knew her name but she was great. The following morning we requested a late check out since our cruise check in was later and we were given that as well. This location is close to the cruise port which is convenient and has a wonderful breakfast. I highly recommend!

Everyone was friendly and helpful with information regarding parking and cruise terminal shuttle. Room had everything we needed. Everything was clean and well maintained.

The Staff at the front desk especially (Jordan), we had some issues with our booking and she handled it like pro and made sure we had a place to stay that night. Thank you again.

The elevator was down when we visited but we were impressed that staff called to let us know about it before arriving and that staff actually hauled our suitcases (3 carry ons and a full size one) up 4 floors for us with no problem! So we didn't have any issues. The pool was nice and had a little shelter over it and the beach was less than a 5 min walk. We loved our stay and will be back!

Friendly staff everyone front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, continential breakfast worker went above and beyond at all shifts to make the stay wonderful. We loved this Hotel and because of the wonderful staff continue to use this Hotel. Please mKe sure the person who was responsible for the daily free breakfast a raise or recognition he did an outstanding job keeping the breakfast stocked and very nice and clean. He was a very good impression of a dedicated worker.

The place was accessible to a plaza with restaurants and other stores, within walking distance. The staff was friendly, curious, polite and helpful. Breakfast was great. Check in was easy.

Stay before hopping onto a cruise. Very good area. Easy walk to several restaurants and cocoa beach. This hotel also provides shuttle service to the cruise ship.

Stopped for a rest before heading to Disney! Loved being able to walk to the beach, and a Publix next door! Very clean as well! Would definitely be back!
