Facility in very good condition, modern. Loved the flowers in room at check-in picked from the grounds. Friendly staff. Cons: Room cleaning not provided daily, only every OTHER day of stay! No beach towels provided for guests, have to purchase. (Hadn’t been to a rental at the beach that didn’t provide towels in many years). No breakfast included. All beach umbrellas removed midday, even when being used. The first day of our visit they were removed at 2:30 pm at the peak of the sun! Other days around 5, the sun is still scorching and there’s no shade where there area is. Very strange and random rule, why aren’t they removed at sunset?

This is a lovely property on 7 mile beach in Negril. There are many dining options near by and the hotel restaurant offered good options as well. I stayed on the garden side and they have friendly staff to help you navigate getting across the street. Upon check out I lost one of my electronics and the house keeper was kind enough to help me search the room. Aiport transfer is offered so I reserved my arrival transfer 5 days in advance. Once I landed at the airport I was informed that my reservation was canceled with out my knoweldge. After arriving to the property, the manager was apologetic and refunded the fair. The issue was resolved quickly and I enjoyed the rest of my stay.

White Sands is my number 1 choice in Negril, Jamaica. The property is lovely and it's nice to have a swimming pool option for those days we didn't want to be at the beach. The games area is perfect for a game of pool, ping pong or chill with a book. The staff are wonderful and super helpful.The location is idea to reach the entire 7 Mile Beach. See you next reach ❤

Property has a nice beach area with minimal sea weed. The grounds are quiet and security is good. This property does not have many standard amenities such coffee maker, iron, ironing board, microwave. The parking is available but is on one side of the property with stairs and a long walk in between. Your room provides no view of the ocean and feels closed in with no meaningful out door space. It is in Negril and good breakfast was available at an extra charge.

We had a very nice stay at White Sands. It was a basic room, but very clean and had a balcony with a table and chairs. Easy access to the beach, but no beach towels provided - instead you can purchase them for $10 at reception. Staff were helpful, especially those working on the beach to provide sun loungers and umbrellas. Overall, very good stay at a very reasonable price.

This location was perfect and the staff was amazing especially Ramon the guy that handles the beach chairs, security staff were on top of things. The cleaning staff Nora was amazing and lovely. This was close to everything we needed and west end was just 20 mins drive.

I really enjoyed the stay and the room are a great deal within the area. Not an all inclusive so you have to pay extra for all your drinks and meals but it is not too pricy and the offer deals on cocktails. Great beach service and safe cross road help during the busy time. I was in the garden area and was very quiet. Pool was ok but with that sea you won’t really need it !

We (a couple) had a wonderful 14 day stay at White Sands Negril. Our Standard Beach Bungalow (on the beach side of the resort) was clean, spacious and well equipped. It also had a fridge and a large balcony. The maids came every other day. There were no beach towels, but they can be bought there. The entire staff is very friendly and fun. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner right on the beach with a beautiful view. You can also eat on a roof terrace where you can watch the sea even more beautiful as well as the sunset. The girls in the beach bar do a very good job and are always in a good mood and friendly (best wishes to Bubbles and Ice). The hotel is located on the most beautiful stretch of beach and there are plenty of sun loungers and always a spot in the shade. The sea is a dream and is perfect for swimming and lingering in the water. We had an all-round wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

property grounds are well kept with beautiful plants, trees, shrubs and grass. the property has two location, beach front and garden. Staff is always around to support, assist and direct you. There is a restaurant and bar on the property - they serve excellent local and international meals. the rooms are spacious and very clean. they are eco conscious - conserving energy which is great for the patron and the environment. Rooms have AC - some with fans and AC.

The room I booked on the site was not the beach front property I saw on the site. In fact, I was checked into a room that was dusty and smelled like it had not been opened in a while. It was reported to the front desk on the following morning but no attempts were made to rectify the situation. There was no tv, kettle nor room phone to contact the front desk. One of the burglar bars was also broken off the window. I was not allowed to take any of the towels from the room to go to the beach across the road. "Beach towels" came at an additional cost, however, the beach was nice. The sand was even, water was calm and somewhat shallow. The on property games shed was dusty but the pool was clean. Additionally I was informed by the front desk that my room would not be cleaned for the entire duration of my stay. On the morning of checkout I was awakened by staff using the lawnmower right outside my door. This was jarring as I made plans to sleep in before check out but was unable to do so because of the noise. Ironically, they stopped using the lawnmower as soon as i got up and started removing my belongings from the room. In general, the property left much to be desired and was not what i expected.

Charming hotel complex with kind staff. Amazing cleaning crew, everything was spotless. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Great firm bed and cold AC. Best food on the strip. Recommended.

The staff is wonderful. Francis is the greatest general manager, very personable. Our housekeeper, Nora was the sweetest and kindest woman. So many others that i need to thank fir a wonderful time: Jennifer in the resturant. Ramone and Shavon on the beach all helped to make it a wonderful experience The resort has always made the stay exceptional each and every time

We enjoy everything about this resort! It is laid back and relaxing. Great gardens, pool, and beach! We love the staff especially, Tara, Power, Henry, and Patrick. Our housekeeper was phenomenal and so accommodating. I wish I could remember her name!

First time I visited White Sands Mar 29th-April 2nd. I came in on my bday. I knew that I was not getting the amenities that I am used to at all inclusive, but a TV in all the room would be nice. Especially when the wifi goes out for over 5hrs & it's pouring rain out & there is absolutely nothing to do. The rooms were nice & spacious, but there is nothing in them but a bed with a very, very hard mattress & dresser with mirror. This was the first time that I stayed in Negril definitely won't be my last, but definitely will not be staying at White Sands again . When checking out the lady at the front desk barely even looked up when I said I was checking out. No how was your stay,thank you for staying with us no nothing.....RUDE! I guess I have been way to spoiled staying at all inclusives I guess.

We just got back from staying at the White Sands Negril. It was a small hotel which I don't mind at all. Our room was on the beachside closer to the street. The room was quite small compared to the look of it online. The rooms do not have TVs which we knew ahead of time and were not worried about that. Afterall, we are not there to sit in the room and watch TV. I did request 2 twin beds, but instead got a queen bed. We were only at this hotel for 2 days passing through so it wasn't that big of a deal. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was a bit small and not much space to put your toiletries. The air conditioner worked very well in our room and kept it very cool. Great beach area with plenty of beach chairs to use. The restaurant had excellent food. We love ackee & saltfish and had that for breakfast and the food was so fresh and tasted the best out of all the places we ate at. The bar was great with specials everyday on different drinks. Good service and friendly staff. Overall, our stay was good. I would definitely stay here again, but maybe ask for an upgraded room.

I will never stay here again or recommend. The listing did not state it was split .. the pics are not accurate of the property. They are outdated .. it listed it as a beachside hotel . I upgraded to the beachside after getting there and saw how far and the busy rd i had to cross to get to the beach . I was over charged my upgrade by double .. didnt get my money back even after talking with the manager for the clerk overcharging me over 200$ canadian that i paid in cash and when leaving the receipt stated 70$ .. the junior suite i uograded too had no broom or anything to clean up the kitchenette. The toilet wouldnt fully flush .. sink drain was broken . I paid over 500$ Canadian for 2 nights .. after being overcharged for my upgrade .. poor service .. poor management and didnt get my money back for the over payment .. i left frustrated and upset

This is my 2nd visit to White Sands and maybe my last. The female staff members are so unpleasant with the exception of the lady with the light brown eyes. The security guard that works in the morning on the beachside was the most unpleasant. Nonetheless the hotel is nice the manager needs to inservice their staff on better customer service

Second time staying at this property, and absolutely love it. The staff is so warm and welcoming, they treat you like family. The beach though is the most stunning and beautiful part of it all. Food was great, rooms are clean. Overall no complaints and I will definitely go back.

The staff is wonderful. Francis is the greatest general manager, very personable. Our housekeeper, Nora was the sweetest and kindest woman. So many others that i need to thank fir a wonderful time: Jennifer in the resturant. Ramone and Shavon on the beach all helped to make it a wonderful experience The resort has always made the stay exceptional each and every time

This property was a waste of money. The service is the absolute worst. Simple services takes forever or not done at all. Terrible attitude from the staff. Hardly any amenities. I asked for an iron and there’s only one for the entire property. I asked for a taxi and was completely ignored. The room barely has any lighting. Old outdated furniture. And the air conditioner was a joke. The room has hot and sticky. There was not even a blow dryer in the bathroom. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I wish I could give it no stars but that isn’t possible.

This is a lovely property on 7 mile beach in Negril. There are many dining options near by and the hotel restaurant offered good options as well. I stayed on the garden side and they have friendly staff to help you navigate getting across the street. Upon check out I lost one of my electronics and the house keeper was kind enough to help me search the room. Aiport transfer is offered so I reserved my arrival transfer 5 days in advance. Once I landed at the airport I was informed that my reservation was canceled with out my knoweldge. After arriving to the property, the manager was apologetic and refunded the fair. The issue was resolved quickly and I enjoyed the rest of my stay.

Really nice people and a well run family owned resort, albeit the smaller rooms are very barebones. Loved the stuff, especially Bubbles, you could tell everyone that works there enjoys it. Fantastic location right in the middle of 7 mile beach, lots of places within walking distance.

I enjoyed my stay at White Sands Resort in Jamaica. The service was excellent - the staff were all professional and very welcoming. The food was very good with generous portions and reasonable prices. The beach was amazing! I felt safe throughout the property and there was a security guard on the beach so I was comfortable leaving my belongings while I swam.

It was quiet and staff was nice , rooms are dated but the place itself was pretty nice and beach area was the best part of the stay. wish the restaurant didn’t run out of so much stuff on the menu but besides that the food we did eat was good and waiters were very friendly. I would stay again.

We loved our stat at White Sands. Right on the stunning beach. We stayed garden side but it was just across the rd to the beach, restaurant and bar. The beach staff, bar staff and restaurant staff were lovely as were reception and security . It’s in a great location on the beach, not close to any noisy bars but you could walk right or left to try lots of restaurants and beach bars. Value for money was excellent

Liked my room! Had some water on the floor because it rained on the first day I was there but room service easy to get and reliable. Staff is helpful, help you to cross the road if you are staying on the garden side. Staff on the beach also helpful and try to help with getting good price for activities. Food in the restaurant is great but a bit expensive depending on your budget (I am a student ) Would have liked to have easy access to a microwave and cellphone in the room to contact the lobby easily.

This hotel is not what it appears to be. There was rust on everything but the bathroom sink. The shower head wasn’t clean enough to feel the full stream of water. The toilet clogged the first hour we were there and of course the front office was closed at 8pm , so there was no help there. Honestly that took the cake. I will not be staying there again.
