Sehr zentrale Unterkunft direkt in der Altstadt mit Blick auf die Burg oder den Fluss. Dennoch ruhig. Im positiven Sinne aus der Zeit gefallen, man fühlt sich in eine andere Epoche zurück versetzt. Ideal auch, wenn man mit dem Bus aus Wien anreist, da die Bushaltestelle direkt fußläufig ist. Das Hotel hat zudem eine Ladesäule für Elektroautos. Frühstück war gut. Einzig negativ war der Spa Bereich. Hatte das Hotel extra wegen dem Pool gebucht. Die Nutzung war jedoch kostenpflichtig. Mit 15 Euro für Hotelgäste pro Tag ziemlich teuer, was nicht vorher angegeben war, bei der Buchung. Man bekam zudem noch nicht mal einen Bademantel und musste, sollte man dann doch noch die Sauna genutzt haben, nur mit dem handtuch bekleidet durch das Gym, was ich und die Sportler als eher unangenehm empfand. Zudem war der Bereich nur zwischen 2-10 geöffnet, morgendlicher Sport daher unmöglich. Sollte man bei der Buchung wissen.

Be aware of HIDDEN COSTS, the POOL AND SPA are €15 per person per session. Building work on going Nov 2024, which is a great alarm clock, drilling at 08.30am. Still allow smoking in the bars. Good position for old Town , allvwuthin walking distance.

Lovely hotel, really comfortable bed, very spacious. Great view of the river. Really good convenient location… really nice sunset views also. Breakfast was nice with a good choice, the hotel was clean and spacious. Staff very friendly. The only complaint we had was that I booked via hotels.com and it’s listed as having full access to the gym. However to us the gym for 1 day (and the gym is a basic dated gym) is €15!!! Extortionate and I may have chosen a different hotel if I was made aware previously.

The spa is great and what makes this property a great place to stay. If you are not using the spa I would consider other hotels. The spa is not well staffed - went two nights and both had only one staff member that was busy cleaning or just not around. Could not get a drink (including water) without leaving the pool or spa, drying off and walk to the entrance desk. At the desk you have to wait cold and wet until the staff member showed up. Love the spa but bring your own water/drink. Rooms are quiet with the sound proof doors. It is only s few mins walk to old city

Great location. Not enough seats for couppe at breakfast, two single beds and 2 duvets for a couple, residents have to pay extra to use the pool, small shower that leaked, smoking bar only, rude reception staff.

O hotel fica de frente para o Danúbio e bem na entrada do centro histórico. Você conhece tudo a pé, a partir do hotel. Muito bem conservado e imponente. Quartos gigantes, muito bem equipados. Limpeza impecável. Excelente café da manhã. Staff sempre prestativo. O estacionamento em frente ao hotel é caro.

The room had an unpleasant musty smell. The furniture was looking tired and the room also was past its prime. I raised this issue with reception who smirked and acted like I was deluded with my concerns. I was moved to another room, which was not as bad as the first. I just accepted that I had made a bad mistake in selecting this hotel, and that i was only there one night. The breakfast was good however, and the pool downstairs was pleasant.

The hotel has a lovely soothing feel about it. A touch of luxury from days gone by. The hotel is extremely clean and pleasant. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The rooms whilst on the smaller side were lovely. Clean and calming, with air conditioning. The location is lovely, on the banks of the Danube and very close to the old town area of Bratislava, with its many restaurants. Breakfast was exceptionally good.

Hotel rooms are bit dated (curtains with dark spots…), breakfasts are plentiful (with dry ham, cheese cuts and cakes). Although Expedia advertizes so pool is available, guests are charged in addition to enter. Hotel cleaning staff never says hello to guests.

I have a room facing the old town. The other side facing Danube and the street. Walking distance to the old town and very close to the bus station. The property is a bit dated but the staff are very friendly. I got woke up to the loud drilling sound in the morning. They are renovating the roof top. The drilling noise lasted all day.

Lovely hotel , room was excellent but noisy due to trams running every 5 minutes until 1am. Easy access to old town , bus station and on main tram route , 20 mins from airport by Uber and 10 mins from station to Vienna. Definitely stay there again.

All good, great location. The one negative, and it’s a big one.. the shower. A tiny little capsule for for the size of a 10 year old at best. Worst shower I’ve encountered on 5 continents!

Perfect location, very close to the old town, Christmas Market and main tourist attractions! The room was large, with comfortable beds and all the facilities, and nice views to the Danube. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choices! Special thanks to Linda, we had an unexpected personal problem, she gave us all the needed support to make changes to our booking and replan our trip. Good position, breakfast good as well, rooms ok. But service is terrible and everything costs extra: at check in had to wait 15 min till receptionist finally showed up, at check out other receptionis refused to give me a company invoice for the stay as every hotel in the world does (still need to figure out how to resolve since this was a business stay!). Parking is outside, but they charge enormous amount (29 eur for less than 24 hrs !!), fitness and pool are also extra at eur 15 and fitness opening only at 9 a.m. in the morning is a bad joke.

The hotel served excellent breakfast, and the two gentleman who work in the dining room and the bar are polite , welcoming, and helpful to the guests. The lady who works daily in the dining room does not seem to like her job: she doesn’t greet the guests and keeps a stern face all the time. One morning, she did not collect the trash on my table. When the gentleman at the desk called it to her attention, after he cleaned it himself, she had an attitude and appeared angry. I didn’t feel like I was a valued customer at that moment because she cleaned the tables around me but mine. I was sitting alone at my favorite table by the window facing the gate to the Devin Cafe, and I knew she saw me. On previous occasions, when I was having breakfast with my white colleagues, she always came by and cleaned the tables. I was very disappointed when she showed bias and ignored me this time. Additionally, I experienced a similar issue with one of the housekeepers who left soiled towels in front of the bathroom door and the entrance door of my room. She also left her key on the floor in my room. This housekeeper never greeted me every time we ran into each other but would stare straight at me. She seemed unfriendly and ill-mannered at times. It was the young man at the front desk who saved the day by giving me fresh towels after apologizing for this incident. Overall, Hotel Devin offers great services and amenities, and it’s well situated on the Danube River. I highly recommend it to All.

I would not stay at this hotel again. The staff member at check-in was already unfriendly. She spent the first 10 minutes on the phone, despite seeing us waiting, and then asked who was next, as another guest had arrived during that time. She didn’t explain anything and seemed eager to just get rid of the guests. In general, the hotel staff was very unfriendly. At night, we couldn't sleep because a party was being held on a boat on the Danube, and the music was so loud that we could hear it on the 4th floor, preventing us from sleeping. At 3:23 AM, I called the reception to inquire, and the gentleman at the front desk rudely responded, “There’s nothing I can do about it. That's just how it is,” and then hung up on me! That, in my opinion, is extremely rude. This hotel does not deserve its 4-star rating and is not worth the price. Furthermore, guests should be informed in advance about the noise at night, as well as the fact that the hotel is located directly next to a main road.

I was unsure upon arrival due to the unassuming entrance and was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked my stay there. Very professional and friendly staff. It also has a classy pool which I had to myself one late afternoon. The location is easily accessible to the Old Town area and walks along the Danube. The bus stop and tram are also nearby.

This is a classic hotel with a great location and friendly staff. The bus stop is nearby and it's easily accessible from Vienna, so I'd definitely stay here again when I visit Bratislava.

Great view of the Danube. If you go to Bratislava you should stay here with the river view. Awesome. Very reasonably priced. Room was very clean. Breakfast was great. Also close to a couple of tram lines.

The hotel is nice, well located and clean. But they charge extra fee of 15€ to access to the pool just because I booked the hotel from Hotel.com and not directly. It is not fair and not specified during the booking!!! The breakfast was a little bit poor in options.

Stijlvol hotel met hoffelijk personeel. Netjes. Dicht bij openbaar vervoer, verschillende attracties en eetgelegenheden. Ontbijt was eerder duur en niet bijzonder. Je krijgt wel een welkomstdrankje in de bar.

H The hotel is nice, clean with great and helpful staff but I did not like to sit down at the Lobby bar for a welcome drink when people were smoking hevely there. The restaurant used old bread for breakfast and only fried theyr eggs early in the morning so when I came once late for breakfast the eggs were dry on top and green at bottom.
