Spectacular little hotel on the waterfront of the Adriatic. You can step out of the hotel and jump into the sea! Extra towels provided. Cuisine was top notch. Location was lovely - on a little peninsula where you leave you car behind and take a private Hotel Piran shuttle to the property. Very much a pedestrian-only town with lovely promenades only the sea walls....

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful place. They have a fantastic free breakfast and shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off at the parking garage. The room was very nice and we had a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea. My only complaint would be the firmness of the mattress and pillows, they certainly could me more plush and comfortable.

We chose a room high up, with the ocean view. Loved having a little balcony to relax on. The hotel is right on the water. You really can't beat the location or the views of the crystal clear water. The man working the front desk was outstanding. Greeted us daily with a smile. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Loved walking right out the front door and go for a swim. There isn't a sand beach here, rocks and docks to swim off. Loved our stay and would stay here again upon a return to Piran. It's a fun little town with unbeatable food/water views and swimming.

Great location in the heart of Piran, nice atmosphere, friendly stuff. Breakfast was very good, at the terace 3-4m from the sea. Parking was at Fornače garage, daily fee 19Eur/ 24 hours - special price for guests of hotel. Shuttle bus was available without waiting, garage is 3-4 min driving from the hotel. Stay at hotel corresponded to our expectations.

The hotel is a top class hotel: placed on the waterfront in the center of town, with excellent breakfast and roof-top bar. Very effective shuttleservice to the parking just outside of the old town (a parking was at a reduced price via the hotel). Nice rooms and quality towels for the designated deck-chairs. So absolutely a top quality hotel .. the only question is if you find the price too high, because it may eat your holiday budget.

We love stayong at Hotel Piran every year. However our last experience was tainted by being giving a room we specifially did not book (reception staff eventually corrected this). When I booked on hotels.com you could clearly see a distinction between "superior" and normal rooms (steel blacony vs concrete balcony) which was also reflected in the price. Yet they wanted to argue that "the rooms are all the same" (they are not, the concrete balcony rooms are much smaller and are falling apart). The hotel is in dire need of repair (bathrooms in particular). The price certainly doesn't reflect the quality. Most of reception staff (except 2 from what we've seen) has changed vs previous years and it's reflected in the lower level of service. They also seem to have some corporate ESG initiative going on which is rather pointless when they have the AC blasting on full all day with doors open in reception... The hotel restaurant is great though. We love Piran and we'll probably end up staying here yet again on our next visit but with this year's experience its feeling me with dread.

Leider war unser Aufenthalt nicht so gut wie erwartet, denn die Dusche war schimmlig, wir hatten Ameisen im Zimmer! Die Zimmertüre war dünn u hellhörig, die Türzange kaputt. Diese wurde aber prompt repariert! Die Fensterläden waren kaputt, der Kasten war alt u roch modrig. Schon klar, dass es ein altes Hotel ist, doch es muss nicht abgewohnt wirken. Schade, dass bei den hohen Kosten nichts in die Zimmer gesteckt wird! Abend würde wir geweckt, als due Roof top Bar geschlossen wurde u due Barkeeper mit dem Lift Gläser wegräumten. Und morgen war um ca. 8:30 Uhr Tagwache, weil das Housekerpibg sehr laut war. Es wurde gesaugt oder mit den Putzwägen herum fuhren... Die Damen u Herrn an der Rezeption waren immer zuvorkommend, freundlich u hilfsbereit. Die Fahrer des Shuttle Busses waren stets freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet wirkt bombastisch, doch es gibt täglich das gleiche. Nur keinen normalen Kochschinken! Die Liegen plus der Schirm sind beim Zimmerpreis nicht dabei! Zusatzkosten pro Tag €20.-,leider war eine Liege kaputt, daher Bauchlage nicht möglich u der Schirm war auch defekt. Wirklich alles sehr schade, dass vieles in die Jahre kam. Es war unser 3ter Aufenthalt, der sehr enttäuschend war u dazu führt, dass wir nicht mehr kommen werden.

Das Hotel ist gut zu Fuß wie auch mit dem Shuttlebus erreichbar. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der direkte Zugang zum Meer hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Zimmer war sauber und der Blick aufs Meer war wunderschön.

Overpriced for the amenities provided, but the service is solid. The breakfast - atmosphere, food and service - is the highlight of the stay. The great disappointment are the rooms: old, dated and without A/C, what made them little hells, specially after 11am. Mattress are not comfortable at all and might be a problem for people with back pain. The sea view is ok, but balcony furniture and size disappoints. The hotel also allows smokers on their balconies, what might be an issue for normal guests depending on the wind direction. There are no business room. For the price paid for the room, cheap toiletries in the bathroom provided and the lack of basic benefits like power adaptors (U.S. standard) are an insult. The Internet is surprisingly difficult to work in multiple devices and high speed broadband is charged on the side, when it should be included on the hotel's rate.

Nice hotel in great location and friendly staff but noisy at night as poor soundproofing (you could hear the music downstairs even though we were on 2nd floor, people talking, doors banging etc). Would be good to provide earplugs as a minimum.

Wij boekten eerst een goedkope kamer aan de stadszijde. Die was ruim, gerenoveerd en had een prima airco. Daarna boekten wij een duurdere kamer aan de zeezijde. Die was veel kleiner (had wel een balkon), was niet gerenoveerd en de airco werkte niet goed.

Our stay was short but great! Staff were friendly and helpful from check in to check out. The hotel is lovely, right along the coast, the rooftop bar is a great bonus! The rooms are clean and we thought the air conditioning was just right even though some other reviews mention it was lacking. No parking near the property, but back up the hill in a parking garage. They provide a free transfer once you move your car to the garage but we would have liked to know to park at the garage before going all the way into town as it was quite hectic. Overall the stay was relaxing and lovely, the only comment for improvement is that none of our Gold Member perks were acknowledged during the stay (late/early check in if available, 10% discount on food/drinks and supposedly two free cocktails. It would be great to actually provide these perks or remove from the listing.

Unfortunately I had a very disappointing experience with Hotel Piran. At arrival around midnight the front desk informed me that I couldn’t park my rental car in Piran and instructed a taxi driver to drive me to the garage they have a partnership with. The taxi ride was more expansive than originally mentioned by the hotel and the taxi ended up taking me to a garage that the hotel didn’t have a partnership with - which resulted in a parking fee significantly more expensive than initially informed. On top of that, the hotel didn’t have hot water in the shower at the time of my arrival (the front desk offered me another room, but the issue was affecting the entire hotel). I contacted the hotel’s manager and hotel customer support for some sort of discount or refund, but it was refused.

First, our A/C did not work when we arrived. They came and fixed that. After we returned from dinner and were preparing for bed, discovered door lock didn’t work at 10 pm. Front desk sent a repairman who arrived at 11 pm. He didn’t have but a pair of pliers and couldn’t fix the lock. He said he would get a hammer and be back. We waited for him to return until after midnight and went to bed without a lock because he never returned. Great location, great food at their restaurant, but poor maintenance on their facility and unresponsive to the needs of their guests.

호텔 셔틀버스 service가 전화해야 온다는데 전화했더니 뜅언냐직원이 전화해도 딴소리만 하네요. 체퀸할때 응대도 눼가징없고 바다 바로 옆에 있고 시내구경하기에는 너무 좋은 호텔 조식까지. 다만 쌲쓔없는지권이배렸네

The best hotel we tried in Slovenia. The breakfast is crazy good. The location is in the middle of the city. They offer free shuttle from the garages outside Piran and it is very fast. A perfekt stay. The staff is very kind.

Hôtel de qualité en bord de mer, chambre double spacieuse (contrairement aux avis lus à ce sujet), personnel au petit soin, petit déjeuner très complet et très qualitatif ( il y a de tout pour tout le monde), cadre magnifique, bar sur le toit très sympa, dînez au restaurant de l’hôtel également c’est très bon et pas beaucoup plus cher qu’un autre restaurant du port! Hôtel recommandé sans hésitation.

The best location in piran, right on the sea!, lovely sized rooms, fresh and modern and the reception staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, we actually extended our stay from 2 to 3 nights as we did not want to leave. The food at the hotel Is also fantastic, amazing selection at breakfast, the a la carte lunch was fantastic and dinner was nice too.
