Food breakfast, pleasant vibe in the bar, everything else not great. It’s a very aged hotel with everything just being depressingly below the average. During my stay there were also major demolishing works - you really need to let people know if they’re booking to diggers and drilling working throughout the day. It’s a noticeable hotel policy not to mention anything as the reception staff also don’t mention it anything you can choose between courtyard and town view rooms. Disappointing three days.

No information at all that the hotel are being renovated. They drilled from 8 in the morning, so you could not sleep. We could not be in the room during the day. No compensation at all when I talked to the staff. Really bad.

This property was impossible to drive to. It is in a pedestrian area only and none of the navigation directions using the two provided by the hotel as well as the actual hotel address took us to the front door of the property. There is no big sign so when you're within the block or two where the navigation takes you to, you cannot visually see where the property is. We drove around the neighborhood for over a half hour before finally drove down into a parking lot, parked the car and then walked then to the street address of the hotel. I wish when these hotels list paid parking that they specify that it is not on site because then I probably would choose a different property. We were traveling from a different country and we did not have phone access to call the property for directions. There is a sauna and a steam room and a gym

Lovely hotel within walking distance of the major sites in Ljubljana. Onsite cafe nice to have a drink and cake with friendly staff. Room was great however I didn’t get the best nights sleep due to my room facing the Main Street and a lot of partying going on.

The hotel is going under extensive work at the moment, with workman arriving around 6am and start drilling at 7am. This takes place right below the breakfast bar, meaning you can't hear one another speak, or even hear the music being played. The rooms are dated and in need of a refurb. The hotel should ideally close for 6 months and carry out all the work in one hit.

There was a bit of dirt in the room, when we moved our twin beds apart. Not a big issue, the room was well equipped, spacious and quiet. The breakfast was still amazing, years after I lat visited :)

Property is very outdated. The carpets in corridors and in room is extremely old and we found bugs. Breakfast was good and probably the only good thing other than the Area where the hotel is located is very convenient to walk to old town.

Wir hatten das "deluxe"-Zimmer. Das war alt und hatte einen Kirchen ähnlichen Geruch. Die Tische aus holz hatten deutliche Holz-Absplitterung und weiße Flecken von länger stehen gelassenen Gläsern. Die Badewanne war nicht sauber und schwarze Flecken waren am Duschkopf. Der Holzboden knirschte beim darüber laufen wie in einem alten Haus. Der Ausblick des deluxe-Zimmer war auf den Innenhof, eine Baustelle - auch das Nebenhaus war eine Baustelle. Hätte lieber ein normales Zimmer nehmen sollen für das Geld. Gut war die Lage.

The location of the hotel is superb, the staff are excellent and the breakfast is really good. But, the rooms are very dated, I had cockroaches in my bathroom for company, the bed was uncomfortable and the Air Conditioner is behind one of the curtains. So if you want a cool room, you need your curtains open. Not ideal at night.

The best part of my stay was the front desk staff ensuring I had good internet connection for two very important meetings. The first room had really bad internet signal. I was move to another room with great signal and overall a better room. My suggestion is that they check signals in the room. Outside the first room, signal was okay. Inside, it was terrible. I had no issue once I was moved to a room with a modem outside. The hotel is in a perfect location. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, sites, bus station, Transport etc. I would stay again.

Tolle Lage, sehr gutes Frühstück. Sehr bequeme Betten. Hotel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Badtür war so verzogen, dass sie sich nicht schließen ließ. Aber insgesamt empfehlenswert.

Staff was very nice, the hotel is beautiful and well located. My rooms was cozy and clean. The breakfast was delicious, I liked everything and loved the coffee. The only thing I had issues was with the AC. It got hot at nights and I had to open the window.

Enjoyed our stay apart from the room is dated - air con is severely noisy and useless and under a window where the little air there is blocked by curtains. Couldn’t have the window open as rain would leak through on to the unit and it’s so noisy outside from nightlife. But beds were comfy and everything inside the room worked well. Just didnt sleep well because of heat and noise unfortunately

Nettes Personal, Zimmer erinnert noch ein wenig an die alten Zeiten. Teppichboden, typische Badezimmerfliesen und stark überheizt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und wirklich gut. Sehr perfekte Lage im Zentrum und trotzdem mit dem Auto anfahrbar.

My room was clean, cosy, and comfortable. I only had breakfast once. It was quite busy when I went down but I got seated quickly and the choice of foods was good. The staff were excellent and I was very grateful to check in early after an early flight. One small point to note is the windows are single glazed. I happened to be staying when the marathon was on which meant the city was very noisy at all hours. I was woken up multiple times on Saturday by people partying outside until 4am. I recommend taking ear plugs!

Front desk staff was extremely helpful. Marjeta was fantastic will do everything in her power to help in a crisis precious.Beakfast was bountiful if you can`t find it here it doesn`t exist. Entire operation exceeded in so many ways. A must to book if in Ljubljana.

Horrible service by front desk agent Melanie. When we checked in she said she can’t find reservations and after she said that it was made for another day. Which was not true. She simply didn’t know what day it is. Also provided false information multiple times. When checked out gave a bill from another room, where it was a room charge while we prepaid everything in advance, had to waste time to figure out. Had to call manager but she wasn’t very helpful, she literally did not say anything. Horrible horrible customer service considering that we stayed on our reservation that I’m 8.5 months pregnant and this front desk agent Melanie only caused stress throughout the whole stay.

Le voyage avait mal commencé. A la sortie de l'aéroport, personne, alors qu'on avait demandé une navette vers l'hôtel. On a du prendre un taxi pour y aller et ce dernier nous a fait payé la somme de 70 €, plus cher qu'à Paris! Une fois arrivés à l'accueil de l'hôtel, nous avons expliqué notre situation. Et le monsieur nous a gentiment offert de nous surclasser voyant que leur service avait fait une erreur. De ce fait, nous avons eu une belle chambre bien calme. Le personnel est sympathique et bien accueillant. De plus, le petit déjeuner était bien garni avec du choix pour tous. L'hôtel est en plus très bien situé, juste à côté du centre touristique. Nous avons passer un excellent séjour. Et pour le retour, nous avons pris la navette à 13€ par personne proposé par l'hôtel.

We had a great stay here. The hotel staff are so friendly and helpful. Arriving was tricky as we were driving but the hotel is located on a promenade where cars are not allowed. We finally found out that hotel guests have permission to drive up to the hotel. Check in was easy and quick. The room was comfortable, beds were nice and they even offer a pillow menu. Great view from our room of the promenade. Breakfasts were amazing with a great selection of items offered. The location couldn’t be better. Hotel is located within walking distance to the river, shops, restaurants and all of the sites of the old town. The valet service was excellent. They even retrieved my iPad from my car after I left it. We would definitely stay here again.

Check in was friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, only a few minutes walk from the triple bridge and main area of interest. Our room was very large and comfortable. This is a more "historic" hotel so the features were a little dated I would say, particularly in the communal areas, and the breakfast area seemed to be undergoing some renovations but overall it was very clean and presentable. Breakfast was good although a little chaotic due to the limited space. The lifts were a bit frustrating - old, small and very slow! That was our only complaint really.

Breakfast was excellent, so many choices! Air conditioner leaked when I first checked in, but was fixed quickly! Shower was slow to drain. There was a wet spot in the hall rug that was a little slippery, and it was there for my whole stay. Some of the staff were super nice, some just ok. The hotel is absolutely central to all the sights! Overall, I had a very good stay... but they do need to fix a few things.
