The hotel is very convenient, just 5mins walk to the central train station and 3mins walk to the CityHotel(meet points for day tour). DM drug stores in just next to the hotel entrance and supermarkets are just 3 mins away. many restaurants around. The bed is big / it’s queen size I think. The room have enough space for putting personal staffs / languages. There are a big common area for drinks and chats. The hotel offers coffee and pastries as well. I think this is a good value for budget stay.

The cabins are great - very fun to stay in and warm and comfortable. The common areas of the hostel could be improved - there are a lot of rooms sharing one tiny kitchen and a very small number of showers. The laundry area is one machine. But the place was always clean and there is plenty of seating. Location is fantastic, easy walk to the attractions of the city and a safe and vibrant area.

Nice stay in our little room. Great madrass and we were mostly in our room for sleeping and storage (quilte small storage in room). We liked the common room and terace and it was very possible to get a Seat and table. Shared kitchen was nice, but hard to come by, since many had the idea to use it. Almost 100 rooms for one kitchen. Washing machine was also booked most of the time and cost 4 euro for washing and also 4 euro for drying. Bath and toilets are numerous :).

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Liked it so much I went back a second time. The staff is very nice and fun to hang out with (thanks Eva!). And the patio on the rooftop has the best views of Ljubljana. Can’t go wrong if you are a budget traveler in Slovenia. Hvala! :)

Great value for money. Perfect location and everywhere is walkable from the ibis. The social areas were really nice with table tennis and areas to sit. We stayed in one of the private rooms. Very different to what we’ve stayed in before but exciting to try something new. Only downside is that the room gets quite hot. Thank you for the lovely stay!

The hotel was well situated in town with a nice roof terrace. There was enough toilets, showers and you saw people cleaning regularly. A nice atmospheric place. Lots of options around the area for food.

Great location: near bus terminal, walking distance to city center. Cool vibes and deco on top floor where reception and outdoor patio is found. Good staff. Free water tap to refill bottle by reception. "Pod" offers the basic amenities: comfortable bed, light, closet, small table top.

The staff was fabulous and helpful in every way. One (unaffiliated) tour would only book via PayPal, and a front desk person used his personal PayPal account so I could book. Many private bathrooms and showers. Bar and excellent pre-made sandwiches Available at all times, and a clean kitchen In the middle of everything Didn’t realize there was a 6 foot straight up Climb to the bed for this 74 year old woman!

I love the location, walkable to the Old Town, there is a gym unfortunately we do not have time to check it out. I love the place lots of space to hang around the property. The cabin I booked I loved it. There is a laundry facilities and a luggage compartment that you can use before and after check out incase the room isn't ready yet and after check out. I will definitely recommend this place to my firends. Thnak you.

Prisvärt och trevligt boende mycket centralt. Rummet var rent men som andra påpekat är toaletterna något ofräscha ibland. Inte så hemskt som vissa beskriver men ofta ganska blött. Kan även rekommendera att ta en botten säng då det var lite knepigt att klättra upp för sängen.

At the end of the day, this is a hostel and the price and quality of the stay reflects that. Having a small private cabin is fine for a short stay and the beds are relatively comfortable. I found a few small hairs on the bedsheets but generally cleanliness in the room was adequate. The “soundproofing” that is advertised is not particularly good and you can hear talking and doors closing from the corridor, so bring earplugs to avoid this. The bathrooms had questionable cleanliness and were frequently left in a slightly messy state, though that’s more a reflection on guest behaviour than the cleaners who generally seemed to do a good job. The location is extremely convenient and it’s just a 5 minute walk to the old town, or 5 minutes in the opposite direction to the train and bus stations.

This is not a hotel it’s a hostel and the room is about 3 m x 3 meter and half of it belong to the other side so the bed you have to crawl to get into bed the upper bunkbed which have a separate entrance is noisy we can hear Them shouting.

This is not a hotel it is a hostel. The space is very limited cannot move around have the room is shared one lower bunk bed and upper bunk bed, but different doors so there is a privacy, but you can hear the people above you, ideal for backpackers, but not ideal for people with disabilities and seniors.

Lovely comfortable stay as a couple for 3 nights. Would recommend a bottom cabin as step aren’t comfortable to climb nor easy to get up. I found it very clean however bad drain smell to the point I was sick. So hope this improves. Bed was very comfortable, due to being on the top bed I found it got very hot in the night starts off comfortable then gets uncomfortable. Staff were so friendly and helpful. There is a communal kitchen which people left a mess in however the staff took it upon themselves to clean (which they shouldn’t have too). Table tennis and table top football to keep you entertained. It snowed when we went so we didn’t use the outdoor terrace however it offered excellent views of the city including the castle. EXCELLENT LOCATION 5 minutes from the bus station( even as someone who’s not the fastest. And great location to the town.

The cabins are terribly small. The pictures don’t quite show how small. The mattress was dented by bodyweight. It is quite noisy. The person sleeping on the cabin above/below is that close to you, there is unavoidably a lot of unwanted noise. The city tax makes this, for what it is, not worth its money.

Whilst the idea of having a cheap hostel that has individual rooms is a great one, the Fuzzy Log just misses the mark on so many little things. The small rooms are so hot, and the Aircon barely works. This is partly because the unit is installed with the air blowing out straight into a wall and inch away rather than into the room. There are sharp metal coat hooks directly opposite the ladder out of the bed. Twice I sliced my wrists putting a hand out to balance myself climbing down. Rounded rubber/plastic hooks are a very cheap fix. There were 3 blocks of 4 toilets for many rooms, and one set was out. The toilets were constantly hot and full of steam, with the floors absolutely soaked as there is no drain in them. On the plus side, the view is nice, and the staff were friendly. There is plenty of luggage stowage if you need it, and as it's essentially a hostel, plenty of people in the common areas which were also very nice and clean.

24h real life people at reception!! They were incredibly friendly, informative and helpful. Luggage storage after checkout, my pod was so much fun and perfect for the night and a solo traveller! Only downside was the pod above mine seemed to creak a LOT! So maybe I just got unlucky (otherwise I’d book a top bed next time)
24h real life people at reception!! They were incredibly friendly, informative and helpful. Luggage storage after checkout, my pod was so much fun and perfect for the night and a solo traveller! Only downside was the pod above mine seemed to creak a LOT! So maybe I just got unlucky (otherwise I’d book a top bed next time)

The experience, to stay in a „fuzzy log“, was really good. The private room & other places in the hotel are clean and modern. This Hotel is really central, you can reach all LJU-sights and have a good connection to the railway station. The staff should me more friendly. There were no question „how was your trip“ at the check-in & also not a „thank you for staying with us“ at the check-out - for me this belongs to a good hotel. This time is was not a warm welcome.

The staff was fabulous and helpful in every way. One (unaffiliated) tour would only book via PayPal, and a front desk person used his personal PayPal account so I could book. Many private bathrooms and showers. Bar and excellent pre-made sandwiches Available at all times, and a clean kitchen In the middle of everything Didn’t realize there was a 6 foot straight up Climb to the bed for this 74 year old woman!

We loved this hotel, the staff were great but could be doing with more of them at times as only one person dealing with both the reception and the bar with a queue at each side, I left after 15 minutes having still not been served. Other than that the place is in a great location, was pretty clean, had a good vibe, good facilities, I'd definitely stay again.

The hotel is very convenient, just 5mins walk to the central train station and 3mins walk to the CityHotel(meet points for day tour). DM drug stores in just next to the hotel entrance and supermarkets are just 3 mins away. many restaurants around. The bed is big / it’s queen size I think. The room have enough space for putting personal staffs / languages. There are a big common area for drinks and chats. The hotel offers coffee and pastries as well. I think this is a good value for budget stay.

The cabin was so clean and extremely comfortable. There was some nice mood lighting touches in the cabin and air conditioning that could be controlled on a panel in the cabin. The view from the lift area was amazing, you could see the castle. The staff were very friendly and really helpful. The hotel is in a perfect area, just a short walk from the river, I couldn’t have asked to stay in a better hotel.

Ett fantastiskt hostel. Vi hade bokat en ”cabin” med toa och dusch i korridoren. Det fanns många toaletter och duschar att välja på. En supertrevlig takterass med många sittplatser. Bra allmänt kök, aktiviteter osv. Det var blandat med folk och åldrar och en trevlig stämning. Löget ör perfekt om du kommer med buss/tåg. Fyra minuter dit och fyra minuter in till gamla stan. Rekommenderas verkligen

I love the location, walkable to the Old Town, there is a gym unfortunately we do not have time to check it out. I love the place lots of space to hang around the property. The cabin I booked I loved it. There is a laundry facilities and a luggage compartment that you can use before and after check out incase the room isn't ready yet and after check out. I will definitely recommend this place to my firends. Thnak you.

Quirky place that is clean, comfy, and has a great little rooftop bar/ coffee/ hangout area. Positive youth hostel vibe and helpful staff. The rooms are small (come truly compact) but clean and the crazy ability to change the room lighting color is good fun. Breakfast was pricey, but I’d stay here again.

It is not what you can expect of an Ibis Hotel. You can barely move on the room, Matress ot of its life. Dis not acommodate us on canceling even that they were full. A disgrace of place for 80 euros. It is worth 20 euros at max. Breakfast overpriced and bad. Bathrooms barey cleaned and you have to share!! Do not go. Pay a little more and choose a hotel where you can have a minimum space and your privacy.

Great value for money. Perfect location and everywhere is walkable from the ibis. The social areas were really nice with table tennis and areas to sit. We stayed in one of the private rooms. Very different to what we’ve stayed in before but exciting to try something new. Only downside is that the room gets quite hot. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast at the hostel was very good with a lot of options. They had shared washrooms, but also some you could have privacy (toilet, sink, shower in closed in room)- very impressive which i've never seen anywhere else! The art on the walls, the rooftop views and ability to chill and have a drink at night was spectacular! They had a kitchen that people were using that worked very well. Machines available for drinks/snacks and staff available to get alcohol or drinks. The smaller single cubes were very tiny, but were big enough for what they were for- a place for your stuff, a desk and stool, a storage place for clothes/etc. And rhe bed of course. I appreciated the variable color light control- super cool. I'd definitely come back!

The common areas were nice and cheery, with a cool rooftop patio. I stayed in a “cabin” pod which was nice and clean, with fun colorful lights inside, but had a pretty thin mattress. Shared bathrooms were fine, about what you’d expect for a hostel. Breakfast was very expensive for the area though at €15 euros per person, so would skip that. Overall good setup and great location ~10 min walking from the center, but was definitely expensive for what we got (but we stayed in August and booked just a couple months out, so that was what was available).

The fuzzy log is in an ideal location very close to the centre of Ljubljana. The cabins are ideal and very comfortable for a few nights stay. The lobby area is also quite nice, with plenty of seating and space. We got breakfast one morning and it was great value for money, there was a great selection. The cleanliness of the bathrooms were ok. They could have been cleaner at times and were running out of toilet paper and paper towels towards the end of the day. Maybe it would be better to have someone monitoring these facilities throughout the day/into the night. Overall though we had a lovely stay here and this is only something small.

Look the rooms were great had all you needed . Staff were nice and there was a bar very overpriced.. however the bathrooms let it down they were unpleasant at times but what you expect when you share a bathroom. With 50 people. The room was so expensive for what it was I wouldn't come back here and I would pay extra to have my own bathroom at a better hotel. The location on the otherhand was brilliant .

Great location. Not easy to find. Google take you to the opposite side as it’s round the corner. Reception is on Level 7 so not very clear. Once you get in. It’s fine. Staff weren’t very helpful. But maybe a language barrier. Rooms were being decorated so workmen had things blocked off Wet paint and closed doors. No signs. Showers were good. Few things broken like the sink and soap. Roof top bar. Isn’t a bar. It’s a roof top with seats Over all it’s ok. Would I go back. No don’t think so
