It wasn’t up to par. There were odors from the cleaning products in the room and hallways. Also, there were odd smells in the hallways. Shower door was water stained and not cleaned. Fitness room needs serious help. NONE of the equipment worked. That was a big letdown. The cables were all twisted on the weight machine. Laundry room was good but door did not self close to lock behind you.

The elevator and area outside the elevator was very dirty when we checked in. And it had not been cleaned by the next morning. They have a very limited breakfast but the coffe was good. The room was clean and looked brand new. The bed was comfortable. Noise from people above and in the hall could be heard.

We stayed just on a single overnight. The hallway smelled of cleaner, the bathroom walls had toothpaste splatter and bedroom walls had unidentified spotting. When we told the desk about the need for extra cleaning in the room, staff seemed neither surprised or concerned.

This was fine for one night. I was disappointed to find hair in the shower, and a lot of crumbs near the bed. The breakfast felt kinda like a scammy upgrade - it was granola bars and oranges mainly… a few other things but not your typical hotel breakfast. Set me up to be hungry on a long day of driving. Slept fine, the bed was clean. The elevator smelled vaguely fishy after being mopped, and was constantly sticky… so yeah totally fine for a night but the photos had me thinking it was much nicer lol. The staff was nice though!

The table was dirty and had not been wiped. There were dustballs under the table and hair in the bathroom sink and towels. Ask front desk if room had been cleaned and was told yes. Was offered another room but I did not want to pack and repack so I cleaned the room myself. Disappointing.

We wanted to take a shower in the evening and there was no hot water, but in the morning there was hot water. I guess they shut it off at night. The rooms are minimal, and clean, but it causes noises to become louder, especially if you aren't on the top floor. We thought soldiers were marching upstairs. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was sparce. A hot meal meant we have hot water to make oatmeal.

Very clean hotel, and great location. My only complaint would be that if you’re on floors 1-3 and you have an active family above you it’s pretty noisy. Seems there are quite a few extended stay guests. Overall nice hotel for the price.

Nicer than most of the more expensive places we have stayed at. Had a small kitchen with stovetop, full fridge and sink. Clean and quiet. Conveniently located. Check in was quick and easy. Would 100% recommend and stay there again.

I will preface this by noting that I am deaf in one ear. This was the nosiest hotel I've ever stayed at. The people above me sounded like elephants walking back and forth for hours and at two points it sounded as if a piece of furniture tipped over. This wouldn't have been terrible if they hadn't stayed up until 2-3am in the morning. I stayed for 3 nights and did not sleep through the night once. I was awakened by slamming and stomping at least three times per night. On top of that I was in a room about 4 down from the lobby and I could hear every single thing in the lobby- every time there was a conversation, every time someone used the ice machine, etc. Again, if it was at a reasonable time of day I wouldn't think it was a big deal but it continued throughout the night. In short, the walls are paper thin and if they aren't going to do anything about it then they should have quiet hours and enforce them.

Very new, spacious, and well appointed room. All very clean and great set up for especially a longer stay, with full fridge, microwave, cooktop, desk, and lots of room. Check in was easy and staff has been very friendly and helpful.

Rooms are very cold and sterile. Phone didn’t work TV didn’t work. Got the TV fixed on the second day. Staff was friendly. Breakfast is very minima.l odd paint smell on the fourth floor.

They have away my room before i got there because they over booked themselves. Then harrisonburg had no rooms left at any hotels so i had to drive all the way to new market 30 minutes north. Unacceptable and expedia and the hotel did nothing to fix the issue. The hotel was even rude by the way the told me when i arrived at the front desk trying to make excuses, then not giving me the contact info so i could contact their district manager. Never had anything happen like this and I travel multiple times a month along with I arrange all the travel for my department, they will never stay here or use expedia again!!!!

There was no one at check in desk when we arrived. Took 10 minutes for someone to show up. The carpets and floors were very dirty . We were in room 321 and the door handle came off when we opened the door. Floor was dirty. Could only get warm water with shower. This is supposedly a new property and it definitely needs upkeep! Paint and repair every where. We chose this facility because it was near the hospital because my husband was having a procedure the morning of check out. I do not recommend this property.

Newly developed town area that was conveniently located for a night-stop during our long road trip. We got rest in a fairly large suite but the breakfast options were too limited. It’s close to a few stores, restaurants and gas station to help continue on the road trip after a night’s rest.

This is a brand new hotel in a quiet part of town. Be aware that the walking distance is not accurate. To get to the corner of the main campus closest to the hotel is about a 45 minute walk, not 19 as indicated. Nice property, nice location, would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was very clean & comfortable, convenient to JMU and competitively priced. Understand, however, that being and 'extended stay' can mean your stay can be similar to apartment living. In this particular experience, we started hearing constant footsteps from the residents above us at 6am (I assume it was a busy child 😀). Then roughly at 9am, our neighbors began playing music loudly. Walls are thin. It wouldn't necessarily deter us from coming back (simply, for it's cleanliness, location & price) and the noise wasn't noted anywhere else on our floor. Just so happened to be *directly* above and next to us for this stay lol. Fortunately, we only needed a 1-night stay. Otherwise, check-in & out was a breeze.

Hotel was clean, accessible and new. Breakfast was lacking. There were no hot foods like competitors. We had to ask for coffee to be brewed and for more cups; there is no milk available to make oatmeal, just hot water. No juice. No butter for the grits you make yourself. Just some yogurt, protein bars, tangerines, hard boiled eggs and blueberry muffins. I have never stayed at a hotel where I had to request a blow dryer at check in. Staff was extremely kind. Hotel and facilities were clean and in excellent condition.
