Enjoy the adult pool, but the big pool was not available on all sides because of all of the construction going on and the repairs so there were not enough chairs to go around It would have been nice to know that they were at the middle of a construction product because not all restaurants were open. Snack bar was never open.

The people were all very nice and helpful. They all get 5 stars. Facilities and food were 3-4 stars. We came during slow season so there was a lot of construction which was understandable but also a little bit of a bummer as the water was low in the pools and the property in general felt a little run down. Food was fine for the few days we were there, but would be a little tough to enjoy for a full week. Overall we got a good deal on it and our 3 year old loved the Noah’s ark pool slides.

No pool bar, waiters around the pool never come around, had to get our own drinks. Pool music was super loud and distorted, sounded terrible. Tons of constructions and it wasn’t listed on the ad at all. Most restaurants closed, can’t get reservations, only buffet. Stayed here previously and it was great, this time terrible. No mint for mojitos and no jalapeños! We won’t be back.

El hotel está en remodelación, no puedes acceder a algunas áreas y hay ruido de constructores. La comida es buena, le hace falta variedad al buffet y es tedioso tener que reservar en los restaurantes de especialidad, pero valió la pena. La vista es increíble y el personal muy amable. Las bebidas alcohólicas bien servidas. Volvería de nuevo pero cuando terminarán la remodelación.

Bed and room was comfortable. Food was very good. For alcohol drinkers, don't expect much as their drinks are soft. Many pools to swim in. The beach unfortunately was Un swimmable during our stay. Solaris did amazing with the 4th July holiday, as the resort threw a massive celebration, with decor, performers, and setup on the BEACH for their entire guests. How thoughtful is that!

Half the pool area was under construction. Lots of noise. The pool bar was not operational. What i didnt like was that there was no mentiob of any of this when i was booking my stay. Other than that the resort was great with very friendly staff

Check in was great. We upgraded to an ocean view for a very fair price. Pool is great. Beach is NOT swimmable for many people, but it was perfect for us. Food- You can only book 2 restaurants if staying 4 nights and 3 if staying 9 nights. First and second night were amazing. The MX restaurant was delicious. They had a fun outdoor dinner the second night that was fabulous. Marco Polo Italian was terrible, shoe leather pork and paella that was so dry and awful. The second two nights the buffet has almost no food. They had dry beed tacos with nothing else not cilantro, no onion, nada…weird. The snack bar made good food but was always out of guacamole and the pizza place was great wood fired pizza. We left and went out for dinner the last night because the buffet had such little food. Bars- great. Nice drinks and good service. Sports- Had tennis rackets and pickle ball to use. Basketball was available. Lights on the courts were inconsistent and we were told different hours every time we asked. The gym was nice, but again, hours were inconsistent. Shows- the shows on the app were not the shows that were happening. Sometimes there was no entertainment when a show was listed. Ages- charged 16 year old as adult, but gave kid bracelet? He was told he couldn’t use the gym even though he needed to train and paid for adult stay. Overall, this was a very lovely place. It was just inconsistent in some ways which was a little confusing. All in all, it was a good price for a fun stay.

We thought the property was very clean and well maintained. The food was great! Both at the buffet and the restaurants. The pizza was bussin. I enjoyed that they had a relaxing pool where it was more quiet.The gym had old and worn down equipment, could use updates. Overall was an excellent day and we would stay there again for sure!

The resort is beautiful with great beach access. Staff very friendly and food was very good. Enjoyed the entertainment. The building is clearly old and you could tell from the plumbing - everytime the toilet was flushed the water smelt like sewer. Toilet also got blocked and water pressure in the showers was awful. Overall a good experience but please fix the plumbing!

Not all the staff, but most of the staff was rude. Rooms had cockroaches, food was really bad and the pool was extremely filthy. We tried to do the best of it, but it was a hard to do it there we spent the last 2 day out of 5 everywhere else but there.

This hotel is truly historic—you can literally smell the centuries the moment you step into the lobby. That delightful aroma of mold is like a free museum tour. The rooms supposedly had a “major renovation in 2022,” but unless repainting a wall counts, the overwhelming mustiness remains proudly intact. The highlight of the stay? The mandatory 24/7 wristband. Forget to wear it, and even with all your documents and keycard, you’ll be treated like you’re breaking into Area 51. Staff will smile coldly and say, “That’s the rule.” Luckily, I didn’t throw away the one I cut off, so I could reclaim it under the watchful eyes of hotel staff. Otherwise, I’m pretty sure I would have been escorted straight out like an intruder. Comforting, isn’t it? As for the five restaurants—what a joke. Either fully booked, mysteriously closed, or just serving food so bad it could qualify as punishment. We eventually gave up and relied on Uber Eats to survive. The whole property doubles as a construction zone, so you get the full soundtrack of drills and hammering, with “recreation facilities under renovation” as a bonus. And the Wi-Fi? Let’s just say the signal comes and goes like a ghost from the hotel’s glorious past. In short, if you’ve ever dreamed of experiencing a combo of heritage-site mildew, airport-style security, culinary despair, construction noise, internet from the Stone Age, and hydration policies straight out of a summer camp—this is your place.

Property was not as clean as I would have liked. Food was not exceptional just okay. Rooms were not clean and had multiple issues. At one point we had water leaking from the floor above. Shower, sink, and toilet was clogged at one point. The staff was great.

Didn’t like the rooms at all, very dirty and the bathroom smelled really bad. Room cleaning was very slow and we had to call 4 time in order to get our room cleaned or to even get clean towels. Kids pool was filthy dirty and disgusting. Staff in some areas were completely clueless and not helpful at all. Pool water was heated and it was too hot and not pleasant. Elevator doors close too quickly and injured my waited arm and I saw another man also get hurt. Overall, 1 star rating and I’d not go back to this property and I would not refer it to others.

Easy to find hotel. Easy and fast check in and check out. It was nice that they restocked the mini fridge everyday. The buffet hours were convenient and there was always a place open where to get food. We stayed for four nights and the food was pretty much the same every day. Many dishes were made with pork. The pizza bar was nice. The kids pool area was nice for the kids. The only bad thing was a foul smell by the lounge chairs in the kids pool area.

Kids Pool was very dirty, and cold, didn’t got clean all the days i was there. Food and snacks were the same every day. Not the best quality of towels or blanket in the room . There was a lot of repairs being done, and lots of spots to fix. I wish it was more kid friendly, I mostly saw just adults getting drunk.

They gave is a room right by thr elevator. The cleaning staff congregated by elevator every morning laughing and chatting. They would slam doors every morning. The room had no amenities . Got no sleep. The food at restaurants were not good.

The room was a mess with lights and AC shutting off every few minutes and a thermostat that only worked after constant resets. Only one trash can in the bathroom, no microwave, and a TV with no channels. You can hear the next room’s TV. Room service costs extra and drinking water is not delivered. You must fill bottles at fountains. Bars serve the cheapest alcohol. No food after 10 at night, no lobby snacks, and a 45 minute lunch line for pizza because one person runs the station. One small, half baked pizza per guest. The resort also treats non members like second class. Even hash browns at breakfast are members only. Special dinners and an exclusive beach restaurant also shut out regular guests. The buffet is poor with limited choices. Vegetarians will go hungry and chicken options are negligible. No cups at soup or drink stations. Marco Polo food is cold and bland. The Italian restaurant even served paella with stale seafood. One small, half baked pizza per guest. The resort also treats non members like second class. Even hash browns at breakfast are members only. Special dinners and an exclusive beach restaurant also shut out regular guests. The buffet is poor with limited choices. Vegetarians will go hungry and chicken options are negligible. No cups at soup or drink stations. Marco Polo food is cold and bland. The Italian restaurant even served paella with stale seafood. This is a GREAT hotel. However, I am not giving it a 5 Star for the following reasons: - 40 minutes shuttle ride from the Airport - Their app is basicaly useless and not-usable - Only 3x Restaurants for dine-in and reservations are basically impossible. So, we spent most of our time at the Buffet - Not enough staff appointed to the Pizza/Sushi bar. So, expect long lineups 20-30 minutes or even longers. - The hotel practically shuts down after 5PM so there is really nothing else besides the theater and the buffet afterwards. - The Theater has the same style of shows every night. Good but gets boring after couple of times. - We ordered Water to the room and they charged us $5 on the spot which is UNACCEPTABLE considering it's supposed to be all-inclusive and there's only 2x bottles in the fridge. - No alcohol in the room's fridge and also you can not order alcohol to your room at night. Besdies that, very nice hotel, clean and modern rooms, nice and friendly staff, beautiful beach. Next time we won't be going to this hotel because of the above reasons. But, if that is not important to you then it would be a very decent choice.

This place was great for a week stay. Food was okay for what it was in the buffet. Tacos were about the best thing. The sit down restaurants were all so good. The only problem I had was the BEDS!!! They were so hard and every day my wife and I woke up to an aching back. Which is why it won’t get 5 stars if I could it would be 3.5 because sleep and beds are important. We could’ve told them about it but then we’d move rooms and I’m sure the beds would be the same so we didn’t want to move again.

We came here 5-6 years ago and first impressions are, it’s pretty similar to then, albeit when we checked into our rooms, they’ve definitely been upgraded. Actually pretty good. Spacious and has all that you need. We booked a deluxe king bed ocean view room. Please beware though, the hallways are loud and if people get back to their rooms late and talk loudly, you can hear everything. We initially had room 618 in the main building, but we had an adjoining door to another room and the neighbors were so loud, you could hear them fighting and the TV was always on. We decided to move down a couple floors to get a non adjoining room and that was way better. You can still hear everyone in the hallways though. The rooms were actually quite nice though. The buffet was so so. As expected. Was actually better 5 years ago. No one wears gloves to serve food though. Little iffy. Haha The only way to book the restaurants was via their internal website / app. Pretty convenient if you managed to get a booking. They filled up literally within seconds. We managed to palm the Captains with some cash and they got us in. Zai was nice. Asian fusion. The only other restaurant we went to was Marco Polo and thankfully the captain got us in. Outside was great! Beach super easy access and nice palapas. It’s certainly worth the budget price, but they have lines for food everywhere and when things run out, tough luck. They need more servers. But I guess it’s a budget hotel.

The Royal Solaris Los Cabos property is undeniably beautiful, with spacious grounds and a stunning layout. However, some areas of the resort felt outdated, and much of the furniture, especially in the dining areas, was noticeably worn and stained. Staff was great and friendly. Resort was clean and quiet. Buffet could use some changes. It was the same food lunch and dinner every day. Theme nights for foos would have been good. Pool has no architectural shade somits in thr sun all day long. Beach very clean as was the pool. Rooms were clean but only double beds so not great when sharing. Overall good resort for the money.

This hotel is truly historic—you can literally smell the centuries the moment you step into the lobby. That delightful aroma of mold is like a free museum tour. The rooms supposedly had a “major renovation in 2022,” but unless repainting a wall counts, the overwhelming mustiness remains proudly intact. The highlight of the stay? The mandatory 24/7 wristband. The room was nice and clean. The service was excellent. The food was good. The only thing it really seemed to be missing from other inclusive reports is you never knew what was going on what events were happening what activities they had for the day. Most all-inclusive places have more information. Overall the service and employees were excellent.

Stayed 4 nights/ 5 days. Reservations for the nice restaurants fill up fast. Bartenders are very attentive n friendly. Housekeeping is awesome. But wait staff is rude and takes very long to bring drinks. I think that as soon as they see you’re not a member they ignore you and purposely take long to wait on you. They forget orders, they give you small tables, they make faces when you ask for certain things, etc. Front desk was nice to check in but check out was just ok.

booked 4 rooms for 5 nights and later added an extra night before the original check-in. I informed the staff that I had two separate reservations, and asked that they be combined to avoid disruption. Despite repeated communication and confirmation, I was forced to check out completely, fill out all new paperwork, and switch rooms. I was left without a room from 11 AM to 3 PM, which was extremely inconvenient. We were a party of 12, and it was nearly impossible to get dinner reservations for a large group. The buffet food was cold and had very limited options, especially for children. The bartenders and poolside waiters were very friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. However, the front desk staff were rude and unhelpful. In particular, the night supervisor raised his voice at me when I simply asked for an explanation regarding the unnecessary check-out and check-in process. I travel to Mexico several times a year, and I can confidently say I will not be returning to this property. The service at the front desk was unacceptable, and the overall experience was disappointing.

Not liking the fact that a 3rd party greeted us and were a timeshare. He gave us a run down on where things were on the property and booked us reservations to the restaurants but that should have been done with property employees and doesn't change the fact that we felt pressured/guilted to have to sign up to spend our precious vacation time to listen to a timeshare pitch. We did not go on the pitch. Our fire alarm went off randomly one day, gladly it was during daytime hours. Our friends' hotel door room lock stopped functioning so that wasted quite a few hours. Their property app could use updating, it is glitchy. Food was 3/5. Pizza was the best though the pizza oven was down for one full day. Room service was great, kept offering to clean room every day when we really didn't need it. One elevator on the south side of the building was down so it may have taken some time to get on one at certain times of the day. A plus was that at least it operated quickly.

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the conduct of your employee Hugo, whose behavior was disrespectful, evasive, and completely unacceptable. Although the reservation was under my husband’s name, he had already notified the hotel by email authorizing me to check in. Despite this, Hugo spoke about me in a low tone, instructed Carla to charge me as a “walk-in,” and refused to address me directly, showing clear disinterest and a total lack of professionalism. When I presented the email for verification, he refused to even read it. His attitude was dismissive, unhelpful, and openly disrespectful. The most serious incident occurred when I asked for his name, as I could not see his badge. Hugo deliberately covered his name tag with his hand and refused to identify himself—an action that violates basic service protocol and undermines transparency. He then left to the office to avoid responsibility. This behavior is entirely incompatible with the standards any reputable hotel should uphold. I request to be informed of the corrective measures that will be taken, as this incident directly harms the image and credibility of your establishment. Also, I received at least 4 different messages in my phone and my door about the check out. If you want us to leave, you are NOT in the right business. If I leave late just apply the fee you didnt advise us in the check in instead of sending "leave the room at 11" meddages one day before so many times!

I booked a week here through Expedia. When I arrived some woman behind the counter wouldn’t let me check in. She said I wasn’t welcome there. I explained that I paid in full through Expedia for a week all inclusive but she turned me away. I’m a woman traveling alone and now stranded in Mexico. I got a cab to the Airport and got a room at the Airport Hotel. The next day I was able to get a room at the DR Solaris Lighthouse which is owned by Royal Solaris. It cost me another $1500. I met a woman at the DR Solaris Lighthouse that had the same experience but they eventually let her stay. Expedia fought hard to get me a refund from the Royal Solaris but to no avail. It appears that the Royal Solaris company is targeting Americans. BEWARE if you're from the US, you may find yourself stranded in Mexico!

Alejandra is great I believe she was the supervisor at the pool! And also the gentleman forgot his name. It could be Marco, they are both awesome! Love their energy and enthusiasm! However, one front desk lady was awful! She has this attitude that my husband and I didn’t like. The she talk and give customer service was under appreciated. We come to have fun and enjoy our vacation not to argue for a bottle of water. Things like this should not be tolerated. Over all we treated the staff with kindness and respect through tips and nice gestures. With all due respect they all work so hard to keep the guest happy and enjoy their holidays. Anyway, still thinking if I should recommend this place to my family and friends. Also the place was under renovation. They should mention that during the booking. And lack of pool access.

This is a great location if you want to go to downtown Cabo. I felt very safe walking outside the resort. The property offered a lot of amenities and the beach is perfect for walking/enjoying small waves. Staff was hit or miss- some were friendly, some not so much.

The Royal Solaris Resort is very nice, safe, relaxing place ideally for get away from work, super quiet and the show every night is great and entertaining. The staff Rosario in the front desk is amazing and very friendly and helpful. With her assistance during our stay makes my family come back again. Thank you, Ronald & Family

The property is located right on the beach even though you cant swim the currents are too strong. The pool is huge. It rained alot and there were many leaks. The food was so so, the buffet dinning could use a facelift.

No pool bar, waiters around the pool never come around, had to get our own drinks. Pool music was super loud and distorted, sounded terrible. Tons of constructions and it wasn’t listed on the ad at all. Most restaurants closed, can’t get reservations, only buffet. Stayed here previously and it was great, this time terrible. No mint for mojitos and no jalapeños! We won’t be back.

Elevators were not working, difficult to get around with stroller or elderly because of the stairs. Many dining facilities operating hours didn’t over lap each other or they were closed the whole day. Reservations for dinner booked at one place but moved to another… so we ended up eating at the same restaurant 3 nights in a row (not the buffet).

The pool server, Eduardo, was very friendly and attentive. Transportation from the airport was also very convenient. Although the resort had multiple restaurants, they never had availability for dinner reservations. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to eat at any of them, which was disappointing because, despite being an all-inclusive resort, it didn’t quite feel like one.

Pros: Most staff is nice, location is convenient and quiet, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, close to San Jose Marina (for fishing), water slides for kids. Cons: Very limited food options. The buffet does the job for everyday food, but it is not a fancy buffet, and varieties don't change much from day to day. The restaurants require reservations but are not better than the buffet. They offer a very limited menu (a couple of items) that are basically the same ingredients as the food found at the buffet but presented differently. The Mexican restaurant is below par and cannot even be compared to an El Torito. The 'Chinese' restaurant is far from being a Chinese restaurant. Only the 'Italian' restaurant served two entrees (on different nights) that are distinguished: a sea food platter (clams, shrimps, octopus, squids) and a Mahi Mahi filet dish. For everything else, the average buffet outdid the restaurants. The drinks were mediocre at best, even at the reservation-only restaurants. It was the same cheap alcohol brands served by the pool-side in heavily diluted drinks. The worst drink was the (classic) Margarita at the Mexican restaurant. It had nothing to do in presentation, ingredients or taste with a standard Margarita. Wood fired pizza oven was good, when it opened and if you brave the long lines. No ice cream counter or soft serve machine anywhere! It is OK if you want a family hotel. Not OK if you want to enjoy a week off with good food and drinks.

El hotel es lindo, amplio y con buenas instalaciones, pero hay algunos detalles que demeritaron nuestra experiencia: -Estaban haciendo remodelaciones en el area de alberca y habia ruido muy molesto de herramienta durante el dia. -Es All-Inclusive en las barras tienen a la vista los productos que supuestamente te dan, por ejemplo tienen una botella de Bacardi pero al preguntar al cantinero que ron sirven sacó un ron desconocido de mala pinta que esta oculto bajo la barra y ese es el que en realidad sirven, un engaño su barra libre. -Los alimentos son cumplidores, nada espectacular. En general el servicio y la calidad de alimentos y bebidas no corresponde al precio del hotel.

Check in was great. We upgraded to an ocean view for a very fair price. Pool is great. Beach is NOT swimmable for many people, but it was perfect for us. Food- You can only book 2 restaurants if staying 4 nights and 3 if staying 9 nights. First and second night were amazing. The MX restaurant was delicious. They had a fun outdoor dinner the second night that was fabulous. Marco Polo Italian was terrible, shoe leather pork and paella that was so dry and awful. The second two nights the buffet has almost no food. They had dry beed tacos with nothing else not cilantro, no onion, nada…weird. The snack bar made good food but was always out of guacamole and the pizza place was great wood fired pizza. We left and went out for dinner the last night because the buffet had such little food. Bars- great. Nice drinks and good service. Sports- Had tennis rackets and pickle ball to use. Basketball was available. Lights on the courts were inconsistent and we were told different hours every time we asked. The gym was nice, but again, hours were inconsistent. Shows- the shows on the app were not the shows that were happening. Sometimes there was no entertainment when a show was listed. Ages- charged 16 year old as adult, but gave kid bracelet? He was told he couldn’t use the gym even though he needed to train and paid for adult stay. Overall, this was a very lovely place. It was just inconsistent in some ways which was a little confusing. All in all, it was a good price for a fun stay.

This was probably the best trip we have ever had as a family! The staff was so nice, helpful, friendly I mean all of the above! We all talked about how we will definitely be coming back! Huge shout out to Hazel from reception so sweet and helpful, Isidro the waiter for making sure our family of 15 always sat next to each other and roxana for overall being so helpful 24/7 I mean amazing woman she the main reason we are coming back!

The food is bad. Same chicken and beef cuts at every buffet meal and primary ingredients at restaurants- pool lacks shade and the bar serves bottom shelf liquor only. However the staff is overwhelmingly great. Smiles and attentive offerings - secure location with shopping and restaurants in walking distance. A $50 taxi to Cabo San Lucas, not bad. Towels and linens in room need to be updated - resort just needs a better kitchen and a few bucks to update. Staff is great. Location is great. Layout is great.

Tout était parfait la chambre tres propre, très bien pour 2 nuits . Très belle plage . Petit bémol Clim bruyante à très bruyante. Juste du gel douche et pas de shampoing. Bien situé . Quant au buffet correct mais ya mieux.
