The staff here are wonderful. We had a king room on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately the one elevator broke down. The staff took all our luggage and coolers up the stairway to our room…three floors. We walked the three floors and have been stuck in the room as we have mobility problems. Going out for dinner was off. No way we could walk up and down those steps. The telephone in the room didn’t work. A real safety concern if a medical condition happens. We are in our 80s. The office area was quite cluttered with papers etc. we would appreciate a partial refund for a room we paid $187.00 and the inconvenience we have had.

Stained and worn carpet in rooms and hallways, curling wall paper, crumbling polyvinyl blackout drapes, crumbling grout in bathroom, burnt out light in bathroom, have to turn bulb in bedside lamp to turn on and off. In room air conditioner hum very noisy. Decades ago when new…. No apparent updates since. Photos misrepresent what we experienced. Hard working staff face the impossible task of ‘keeping up appearances’. Treacherous (because very sloped) poorly lit parking area.

Read some bad reviews, so was worried about the condition. We had a room with 2 queens and everything was updated in the room, the beds were comfortable, it was totally fine. The building itself is a little old, that's all. The hot tub was not working when we were there.

After we checked in were told elevator was out of service and we had 6 flights to climb with all our luggage, vending machine was empty so had to go back down to lobby for any beverage...room next to us had a very noisy child, but front desk did ask them to keep it down which was appreciated, the overall hotel was out dated and not super clean but the price was reasonable

The rooms have outdated, stained, layers of dirt on the carpets- I didnt even let kids take shoes off unless in bed. Smoking in the building is or seems to be allowed as it is smelled throughout. The staff was the best part of this stay, very kind.

The hotel is older and needs some upgrades. It needs to be cleaned thoroughly. There were stains on the carpet in my room and a huge spider crawling out from under the bed. The hallway carpet was dusty and needed a good clean. The breakfast was disappointing the first time a stayed a few weeks ago. They need more selection and fresh juice and a good coffee maker. There were no herbal teas either. For this stay there was NO hot breakfast and when we asked the reception, they said that the server was on vacation. So what are we paying for ???

The room was not clean, we were in a suite and when we opened the fridge there was a container of used food , that was there from the last occupant. Next day the room was not cleaned, towels were not replaced, no coffee cups or water cups and no coffee pouch . I travel a lot this was the worst I have seen, I will never stay at another Ramada , if that is their standard.

This hotel is in rough shape. Carpets are dirty everywhere. Shower in my room did not even have a shower curtain. People drinking and yelling in adjacent room. I'm surprised Ramada does not hold this place to a higher standard. Avoid.

Pros; -bed was good. -Breakfast was good Cons;-Ac wasn’t on when we got to the room. Took over 3 hours to get to a comfortable temp. -bathroom in poor condition, the sink faucet was broken, paint above the tub was falling apart. -lights didn’t work in the bedroom, found that they were unplugged -WiFi didn’t work.

We’ve stayed at this Ramada a few times in the past and always had good experiences, but this year was a different story. As others have mentioned, the carpets are stained and look quite worn. The room we were first given had garbage in the drawers and under the beds, so I requested a new one. The only available option was a pet-friendly room. I hadn’t stayed in one before, and unfortunately, it had a strong dog smell, which made the stay uncomfortable. I’m not sure if all pet-friendly rooms are like that, but this one definitely needed a deep clean. When we were leaving in the morning and struggling with our luggage through the two entrance doors, the receptionist had just arrived for her shift. She did eventually help, but didn’t rush to assist us—it felt like we were more of an afterthought. The same thing happened with the couple behind us. A little more courtesy and attentiveness would have gone a long way. Overall, this stay didn’t match the standards of our previous visits, and I hope the hotel addresses these issues for future guests.

I stayed for several days and on a few days days housekeeping didn’t have the room cleaned before I arrived back close to 5 PM. My expectation was that the room would be cleaned prior to a typical check in time at 3 PM. I suspect they’re having some staffing problems. It also appeared that vacuuming was not a regular cleaning protocol during my stay.

We had an issue with our original room but the receptionist did a great service to find a even better one right away with no extra charge for the upgrade. Also, the breakfast personnel service were extremely friendly and warmly. Congratulations to Williams Lake Ramada's team.

Check in was easy and efficient. Staff friendly and professional. Room was okay; clean, good amenities, bathroom had a bath and soap bars. Pub restaurant was very good and server super friendly. Hotel with in a short distance to downtown area. Parking was right outside hotel. Would come back!

We had a personal item of value stolen from the housekeeping staff at this hotel. We had proof (tracker) to show the item at the housekeepers apartment. The manager seemed concerned and even encouraged us to report to the RCMP (which we did). The hotel made no attempt at reconciling our loss.

I like that the room was clean aside from finding an empty Dasani bottle in the night stand. There were very few outlets by the beds. The beds were very comfortable and the staff restocking our towels, fixing the beds and removing the used towels was very unexpected but nice. Overall it was a pleasant stay and all staff were great!

Have stayed here twice. Nothing at all to complain about. Williams lake downtown is a high crime area so there are signs saying not to leave valuables in your vehicle so we didn't and didn't have a problem
