Sprawling grounds, elaborate, and big for the isolated area in which it is located. Very expensive, and it does not deliver for what they charge, nor pretend to be. A lot of shell, and not too much nut. I ordered room service, and everything came in paper bags, plastic utensils, and plastic containers…….simply unacceptable for what ‘they’ charge for food and room. Mohegan Sun leaves a lot to desire………simply not worth it. Spend your money elsewhere………you can do better. They need to improve so what one pays…….one receives. In short, a rip off.

My group loved the property and the dinning opetions for lunch and dinner....however, the hotel room was not impressive at all and the options for breakfast was very minimal. We love the many shopping options that were available to us.

Unique... owned and run by Native Mohegan Tribe, with relevant decor. Didn't like plastic glasses and coffee cups in room. Felt cheap compared to rest of decor, and not in keeping with environmentally conscious stated value.

Stayed 2 nights

Mohegan Sun Earth Tower was nice enough and if you're looking for something quiet, stay there. The Sun Tower is much noisier but it has more things to do and the pool (and other amenities) in the Sun Tower is superior to the Earth Tower. The staff at the Earth Tower did appear a bit disorganized (and lacked some basic information for newcomers to the hotel). On the 2nd day, we went to the front desk and asked if housekeeping would be cleaning our room (we weren't sure if they had resumed housekeeping services as many hotels had not since Covid). The front desk pointed to a sign that said housekeeping was resumed and offered to put a note that our room was not cleaned (I'm not so sure that housekeeping really understood that the process of cleaning all rooms was resumed). We only asked the front desk because we saw housekeeping staff literally doors away from our room in the morning when we were leaving for the casino. However, when we returned several hours later our room had not been cleaned and there was no housekeeping staff in the hallway. In the end housekeeping did clean our room but only because we alerted the front desk which is a little annoying. My suggestion to Mohegan Sun Hotels is that they should provide information (like maps of the casino in every room, information on what to expect from housekeeping, pool open and close times, times the Bean and Vine (nearest for morning coffee) is open (this was closed on Tues & Wed during our stay!) ), etc.
