Everything was going excellent until the fire alarm when off at 04:00am. Where traveling together with our daughter and grandson age 1 and 6 not good when there up at the crack of down is 5:15am and the alarm still going on. Our day has been ruin. Also the fire department has left the facility so we don’t know why the alarm still going off.

Fire alarm was faulty and went off between 3 and 4 am Saturday evening. Had to leave the hotel and were not able to return until 6am. There was no fire . Deprived of sleep and ruined the day . Should be compensated .

Great hotel! Everything was super clean and the hotel staff were all extremely friendly. The free shuttle to and from Mohegan is so convenient and very fast. Highly recommended if you aren't looking to spend a ton of money staying at the casino. The shuttle runs from 4 PM to midnight.

We stayed for 3 nights with our two kids in a suite with two queen beds. The suite was nice overall. The biggest pluses were the courtesy of the front desk check in person, and the dependable, well-stocked breakfast bar every morning. It makes life away from home easier, with one major meal taken care of for the kids. The bar fridge and microwave in the suite were also handy for travel with kids and heating easy meals. The pool was nice (used once) and gym looked nice (did not use). Downsides - the sofa was wonky to sit on (we did not use as a sofabed, which might not have been great) and the bathtub had dry scaly adhesive residue (from way back that hasn’t been scraped off and was chipping off), but was clean. While the hotel doesn’t have EV charging, Mohegan Sun does, and that helped us out. Interestingly, Mariott charged us for “data usage” at ~$5 a night even though none of us remembers agreeing to get a better wi-fi for a fee beyond the free/ complimentary wi-fi. Overall, good place and close to Mohegan Sun Casino, and many museums (submarine museum, bowling, tantaquidgeon) for a reasonable rate. Would stay here again.

Great stay for the end of an Easter weekend until Tuesday. Fast, early check in, clean and comfortable room. A good variety of breakfast food each day and tea/coffee available. The facilities were clean in and out and pool/gym as.well. Rich and the shuttle to Mohegan Sun was great! Easy drop and pick up 4pm-12am. 15 miins. to Foxwoods and the Tanger Outlets. Fabulous location and staff. I would do it all again soon!

We checked in around 5pm. Found our room dirty - bathroom definitely not cleaned. Beds were made but looked like someone had used the pillows?? Called the desk and asked for it to be cleaned, linens changed. there was also an item left by the previous occupant - a hand brace. We told the desk and left a note with the item. Returned to the rooms after midnight. The bathroom looked better, beds looked the same and the item was still there, with the note. Very disappointed. This was my 5th stay and now not sure I will return.

The room was very spacious, with 2 queen beds and a pull-out sofa bed. Two televisions were a big plus for the kids. Free breakfast was delicious both days with a wide variety of foods. The pool was larger than any I have ever used in a hotel. I would definitely stay again.

Do. Not. Stay. Here. As a disabled veteran who’s traveled the world, this was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Our room was moldy, humid, and had a broken AC, a peeling shower, wet carpet, and a chemical smell so strong that my daughter broke out in hives—and we all woke up on day one with headaches (a clear sign of mold), which we still have five days later. Staff was aggressive and unprofessional, banging on our door at 1 a.m. accusing us of noise while we were quietly unpacking. After we were moved, they harassed us over a luggage cart, knocking and calling repeatedly while I was in the shower. Nicole from hospitality dismissed every concern, and they lied to Expedia claiming the room was fine and I “held their cart hostage.” Only after calling Marriott corporate did anything change. This hotel treats guests with zero respect and zero accountability.

I didn’t like the fact that the front desk lied that my Expedia reservation was canceled three days prior to me checking in even though when I made my reservation it was to pay at the hotel. This type of fraudulent activity makes me not want to reserve at these this hotel! They charged me the amount that Expedia charged me which was more than what the hotel was charging. never again!!!

Horrible customer service and experience. Booked an overnight stay with family check in and paid deposit to be told their pool was out of order. Manager on duty was rude and said it was stated on website but it wasn't and when showed her it wasn't she said oh well, No refund. Needless to say, we left very upset and will never return!

The shuttle driver was very helpful, friendly, and was very prompt when we called for the return ride from the casino. He even took some photos for us. Driveway entrance needs better signage due to the road construction in front of the hotel. Also the driveway entrance is in need of repair. there is a big bump as you drive from the road into the driveway. Everything overall was ok but I didn't think it was worth the price.

Property was so close to Mohegan Sun. The staff was very friendly. The room and bathroom was modern, very spacious and nice and clean. They have a free shuttle that brings you to and from the casino. It’s literally a 3 minute drive. So convenient! There is a nice complimentary continental breakfast (Bagels,English muffins, Cereals, Yogurt with the mixings, Waffles, Eggs, Sausage, Bacon, Fruit, Coffee, Tea, Juices). I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay again!

Nice place. Good room setups. The usual cheap breakfast with processed eggs instead of eggs. Blob of meat. Decent waffle, but served with sugar syrup, not maple. Fairfield is a nice place, but the breakfast is Super 8 quality, maybe a little better. Upgrade and get rid of the processed food and plastic everywhere.

Shuttle driver was Awesome!!! He was very helpful & took some photos of me & my parttner. Dining room furniture was old and looked like cast offs from some out of business banquet hall. All the coffee and hot water ran out twice during the breakfast hours. 3 of the Waffle maker syrup dispensers were totally empty and staff brought out one bottle of syrup to replace the 3 empty ones. Egg souffles were very good. Pork sausage patties very salty. Coffee was good. Bed was comfortable. Fairly quiet room but you could hear other rooms tvs while walking in hallway and some guests let their door slam shut with little regard for other guests. Swimming pool looks nice but could be open later considering how much guests are paying to stay. very close to the casino and the shuttle driver again was excellent

We only stayed one night for a show at the casino. The staff were awesome and the shuttle prompt and fun. The room was a double queen, spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, great variety with attentive staff. Great experience!
