It is a great hotel in the lively Las Ramblas area. The metro is 2 min walk. The rooms were very clean, modern. Wish there was a coffee in the room. That was the only part missing.

Very nice hotel close to LaRambla. We had a superior room with view to the road, fine bed, coffee and tea making in the room. The reception was very helpful and always aware. Very fine breakfast.We enjoyed the stay and will recommend

Booked after reading good reviews on here and it didn’t disappoint. Central location just of la ramblas. Lots of walkable restaurants. We paid for breakfast - buffet, not a huge choice but all very nice and good quality. Room was spacious for a family of 3, quiet at night. Hotel and room was spotlessly clean and staff on reception. Couldn’t have been more helpful. We took a taxi from the airport €30 but going back they charged €45 (possibly as it was very early). It is quite close to a metro station so possible to use that if you don’t have tons of luggage. Only thing that could’ve improved it was a residents bar. There are lots nearby but sometimes having a drink in the hotel after a long day exploring is needed. Would definitely stay again though.

Had to do an extra night in Barcelona due to cancelled flight and the rooms we got were comfortable. Good security. Good location but make sure you know which direction you are walking when you venture out. We ended up in an uncomfortable neighborhood due to just wandering. The breakfast was excellent.

Convenient as it’s right in city center. Room walls were moldy. Hotel was located next to red right district, and some of the alleys smelled of urine, and also didn’t feel safe. Hotel condition was older than the pictures displayed.

Property in pictures looked nice but when you arrive room is small, paid extra 45euro for upgrade. The bed was nice & big the room was bit bigger but very basic, room smelt of chlorine very strong chlorine smell on arrival, the bathroom was disappointing the shower door made of full glass does not close its dangerous the ventilation panel in bathroom does not work its suffocating, shower head has not much pressure & 3settings that are poor they need new shower heads this was annoying. Bit of green mould around shower head & the door panel. The desk inside the bedroom is small and it was all chipped around edges. For paying extra 45euro for upgrade is disappointing. Late checkout extra 15euro per hour, the place is not a proper hotel with facilities so no spa or gym its more just bedrooms and conveniently located near ramblas. They are quick to make money for the extras, rooms should be checked before given. Did not complain on the day as could not be bothered to move room, was only there for 3nights.

Great location. Just in the middle of the action. Few minutes walk on each side to reach catalagje square. Gothic village and marina. A HUGE number of restaurant around the place. During our stay. The hotel changed name from Ramblas to Catalonia Hotel. This did not affect our stay . Room towels logo changed and additional staff at reception . The hotel was very clean. Room service outstanding We will be back for sure

Water rain coming from the window. I never complained but this was bad. My room got flooded from the rain and my clothes got wet and they didn’t change my room until the next day. The location was the only thing I liked.

Dirty bedsheets that smelled. Bathroom was clogged and water leaked into the room. We checked out in 1 night instead of 3. Wifi did not work. Staff was more interested in smoking outside as against helping guests. Not worth 230 euros a night. Better hotels right across the street were going for half the price.

O hotel é muito bem localizado, o quarto é pequeno e sem nenhuma amenidade, o frigobar não gela, deixei a comida do meu filho e estragou. Ao solicitar na recepção para guardarem na cozinha, foram bem relutantes mas guardaram na maior má vontade. A limpeza deixou a desejar, eles dobravam a toalhas suja e colocavam no box, quando íamos pegar achando que tava limpa era a mesma toalha toda suja e umida que já tinha sido usada.

I would rate this hotel only one star, and that’s solely for its location. Our room was very cold, and the heating system was not working. Despite complaining multiple times, the staff would just turn on the AC and insist that it was working. We also had to wait several times outside the hotel door for someone to open it. Additionally, the refrigerator in our room was broken and did not work. Considering it’s a three-star hotel, the price was quite high. I definitely do not recommend staying here, and the breakfast was not very good either.

Our AC didn’t work properly so the first night we slept with window open. Second day we asked to fix it in the am, cam back that evening and it was still hot. We asked for it to fix again and it was never done. Sleeping was very uncomfortable. Hôtel room cost a lot and we expect better

We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to La Rambla, La Boqueria and other sites. The room was spacious and clean. The only thing the room could've used was usb port. We are used to seeing those in most hotels. It's the only reason we dont give the hotel a five!!

Nice clean property. Rooms are a bit small but we ran into this on most of our trip across Europe. If you’re looking for a bathroom door that latches, look elsewhere as this hotel follows the “if you can’t poop together you shouldn’t travel together” rule. Walkable to lots of shops and restaurants, cabs are reasonable but suggest walking away from the hustle and bustle to hail one to save yourself money (metered cabs). We walked to Parque de la Ciatudella, Arc de Triomf, and the cathedral each morning. A beautiful walk with lots of breakfast options along the way starting around 8-9am. Staff was so kind and helpful at all hours. Would absolutely stay again!

The staff here is fantastic- they do everything they can to take care of their guests. Arriving here in the morning after an overnight flight with no sleep, they got us into our room early and were so helpful. The location is perfect for exploring Barcelona and is quiet and comfortable. The breakfast is very good.

Actually my itinerary was not happy in this hotel just the hotel location what can I share good thing rest of the stuff about staff who are not good enough friendly , room quality is not good especially the bed and stores are bad. I do not recommend to stay in this hotel even which has 5 stars beyond that the room price is cheap

Very disappointed with the service. Example, While I was trying to find a way around road closures due to a race the morning of my departure the attendant simply shrugged, this was basically my problem. Conversely, a guest overhearing the conversation, gave me a very good suggestion which resolved my problem. The room had terrible and limited toiletries and for the price I paid for the room I expected better. I would not recommend it. But the location was superb. Expect massive crowds when you stay as it is steps from the famous market, which was really fun to explore.

The property is situated in El Raval area of Barcelona. It is really close to the busy La Rambla and other popular spots. Rambla del Mar is about 25min walk, Sagrada Familia 35min, Parc Guel about 45-50min. It is off the Liceu L3 train station and really easy to navigate anywhere. It is practically beside Boqueria Sant Josep. El Raval is unfortunately a really run down area that can be dangerous at night, but the people that live and business around here are warm and I found myself eating and drinking in this area.

The location of the property is excellent. It is an easy walk to the Gothic Quarter and many tourist attractions. However, it can be noisy in the wee hours of the morning. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The rooms could use some work. Our sink was plugged and the toilet seat loose.

Very nice hotel. Would come back. Staff was friendly and helpful. The surrounding blocks of the hotel look a little rough with the graphiti and such, but it's a good area not far from popular areas of Barcelona.

Really great location near to La Rambla and Liceu Metro station. Right next to great outdoor market and short walk to many tourist locations in Gothic District. Easy walk to Cruise Bus. Rooms were a bit on the small and spartan side, but met out needs. The area around the hotel seemed a bit sketchy, but we did not have any problems walking around at night.

Bon séjour dans cet hôtel même si nous avons été déçu par le petit déjeuner. 12€ pour un choix très limité. Le ménage etait plutôt bien fait dans l’ensemble. La proximité avec La Rambla est un vrai plus ! Le personnel est très accueillant.

O atendimento dos funcionário da recepção foi fantástico. O quarto era agradável mas não era muito limpo. Não passavam uma vassoura ou aspirador de pó e nem trocaram as roupas de cama (meu filho sujou de chocolate o lençol e não trocaram). O chuveiro era ruim. A localização é boa no sentido de que é perto do metrô e da pra ir a pé até a praça Catalunha, casa Mila, casa Batlo, mas achei perigosa a região. Não me senti segura e inclusive os taxistas falavam que era perigoso ali. Mas o pior de tudo é que comprei o hotel com café da manhã e o que eles servem é uma piada. Falam que é por causa do COVID mas isso é uma grande mentira porque nos outros hotéis o café estava normal. Não tinha um pão, um queijo, nada. Só tinha maçã, suco, café, e um bolinho horrível que vinha embalado, não era fresco. Enfim, achei absurdo eles cobrarem o café e não ter um café decente.

This hotel was wonderful! It was very close to the pedestrian Las Ramblas zone and there were many shops and restaurants nearby. The staff was wonderful, friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was clean, quiet and perfect for us. The breakfast was incredible! Fresh squeezed orange juice, full breakfast too with eggs, pancakes, etc. Many, many choices. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff here are fantastic and the location is excellent. Rooms are very clean and surprisingly quiet, though they show a bit of wear and tear. I’d stay here again but probably skip the breakfast—it was ok, but there are many delicious options nearby.
