The hotel is very well positioned in the front of the beach. No traffic noise. Sunbeds at the pool are available for everyone - no reservations necessary.

Amazing location on a spectacular beach.views from dining rm were great, breakfast was nice , check in staff were fantastic! Parking spaces limited(6), buffet supper was not good food but lots of other options just outside Hotel, area getting very commercialized. Enjoyed our stay!!

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Der Innenbereich des Hotels ist sehr schön und exklusiv. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung aber die Einrichtung wirkt zeitweise ziemlich billig. Bei Buffet wurde aber nicht gespart - eines der besten die wir bisher hatten. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist wundervoll. Leider hat das Hotel nur drei Parkplätze. Wir haben aber immer einen Parkplatz in der Umgebung gefunden

Property is close to the beach which good. Parking is a big problem. They have three spots. If they’re occupied free parking around the streets are a big challenge.

We stayed for one week. Staff was welcoming and friendly on every encounter. Property was safe and clean including gym and pool. Included breakfast was perfect, and most days had live pianist. Would absolutely return here.

We loved this hotel. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly each day. The pool area is lovely and it is easy to get sun loungers at pretty much any time of the day. There are steps next to the pool area which take you straight down to a beautiful beach. The food in the restaurant was great and there was lots of variety, each night there were plenty of vegetarian options as well as fish dishes for example. My partner has a peanut allergy and the chefs were helpful and accommodating with this. We booked a massage with the beautician that is based in the hotel which was excellent and really relaxing. The only slight issue we had was that our room was on a lower floor below a bar next door to the hotel and the music kept us up on one of the nights, but this isn't really in the hotel's control. Overall, we had an excellent stay.

This hotel is in great location. Direct beach access via a stair way . Close to town but away from the noisy night life so great balance . We had an early check in offered to us which was kind . The interior of hotel has a unique design - it would be great in the winter months with a pretty interior fountain and seating . We had half board at a great price included in our package. The full price listing at 29 euros each was very expensive in my opinion and you could eat out locally for a lot less . The restaurant had a lovely view and outside seating. All the staff in this hotel were friendly and helpful. Very limited parking but we got free parking on the road in a walkable distance.

The breakfast was extensive with various options, including those for special diets, and the buffet dinner offered ample choice, including vegetarian dishes. Molto gradevole e professionale l’accoglienza del personale preposto al check-in. L’hotel si trova in una bellissima posizione di Portimao, godendo di una splendida vista sull’oceano. Purtroppo la nostra camera è risultata differente da quella prenotata sul sito e, soprattutto, con un odore nauseabondo di acqua sporca utilizzata per lavare, tra l’altro in modo maldestro il pavimento. La doccia era sporca. Inoltre la nostra stanza (601) è dotata di cassaforte, ma priva di serratura che deve essere chiesta in reception. Apprezzo tuttavia il fatto che la direzione ci abbia proposto di cambiare la stanza. Tuttavia ciò non toglie che la stanza deve essere consegnata in condizioni di pulizia. Il problema dell’odore di acqua sporca si è ripetuto anche nei giorni successivi e sebbene segnalato al personale, nulla è stato fatto di concreto. Peccato che questa esperienza è stata negativa, perché era la seconda volta che tornavamo presso questo struttura e per giunta con amici ai quali abbiamo parlato molto bene

The double room we reserved and pre-paid, had garden access, but smelt of damp/mould/mildew with an acrid cleaning chemical odor note Accepted another room, even though it was at a lower tarrif and had a sewage smell in the bathroom, the Manager demanded we sign a NDA document, and never offered to compensate in any way Despite staying almost a week and paying for a second room (occupied by family members), the Manager treated us with distain, and avoided us on check-out. One doesn’t need this arrogant attitude and rude approach when paying good money for a below-average Hotel

Das Hotel war sehr sauber, das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Speisenauswahl war reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Leider wurde die Ruhe etwas durch die Renovierung der Aussenterrasse gestört. Aber ansonsten würden wir es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und gerne wiederkommen.

Insgesamt ein schönes Hotel, ansprechendes Design, tolle Lage am Strand,Liegen am Pool und im Garten, hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick, das sehr geräumig war… Leider hat es hin und wieder im Bad unangenehm gerochen. Parkplätze gibt es keine, da muss man etwas weg parken. Das Essen hat uns nicht zugesagt.
Insgesamt ein schönes Hotel, ansprechendes Design, tolle Lage am Strand,Liegen am Pool und im Garten, hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick, das sehr geräumig war… Leider hat es hin und wieder im Bad unangenehm gerochen. Worst stay and service ever. Firstly I requested when I booked to be on the upper level of our partial view booking as we were celebrating our 40 years of marriage. When we arrived not only did they not honour our request( only hotel who did not in our 11 days travel in Portugal) but they put us in the worst room possible. They gave us room 30 which is located on the lower floor all by itself next to the fitness room and passage to restaurant and near the glass elevator. Everytime the elevator stopped we could heard a loud screeching sound.I guess the break hydraulics. The room was stuffy with very little light because it had a partition wall that blocked half the room with a stain sofa on the other side. The balcony was the smallest and right beside it was stairs for everyone to access the green sunbathing area.No privacy or quietness at all.There was no robes, ration of towels and more importantly only gave you a roll of toilet paper. Towels were awful quality and for paying half board the breakfast was not that great of a variety with only one person cleaning up.Oversll this hotel made me feel like I was on a cruise ship of seventies plus. My husband and I are in our early 60’s. There is a young front guy who needs extra coaching on customer service. When we first checked in he was present and saw us going in and out of the hotel several times and not once did he acknowledge with hello or ask how are day is going.I feel this hotel is struggling and cutting back on things.

When we arrived not only did they not honour our request( only hotel who did not in our 11 days travel in Portugal) but they put us in the worst room possible. They gave us room 30 which is located on the lower floor all by itself next to the fitness room and passage to restaurant and near the glass elevator. Everytime the elevator stopped we could heard a loud screeching sound.I guess the break hydraulics. The room was stuffy with very little light because it had a partition wall that blocked half the room with a stain sofa on the other side. The balcony was the smallest and right beside it was stairs for everyone to access the green sunbathing area.No privacy or quietness at all.There was no robes, ration of towels and more importantly only gave you a roll of toilet paper. Towels were awful quality and for paying half board the breakfast was not that great of a variety with only one person cleaning up.Oversll this hotel made me feel like I was on a cruise ship of seventies plus. My husband and I are in our early 60’s. There is a young front guy who needs extra coaching on customer service. When we first checked in he was present and saw us going in and out of the hotel several times and not once did he acknowledge with hello or ask how are day is going.I feel this hotel is struggling and cutting back on things.

Nice spacious room with huge balcony on 1st floor with ocean view . The stuff on reception was so kind to bring us a bottle of wine as a status of VIP Expedia member. Booked with option half board - we had a wonderful dinner and breakfast. Walking around the resort - great views, ocean, people are walking and running. Water in the pool was not enough to swim in the beginning of April. Definitely will come back at warmer season to enjoy the swimming and sun-bathing

I would give this hotel a mixed review. Lots of great things overall though: good food and drinks, beautiful interior and grounds, love the easy access to beach and the yard with beach chairs, wonderful salon and spa. Our room was so disappointing though. The hotel has a very luxurious feel, but it’s an instant let down when you enter your room. The mattress was so hard and uncomfortable, old flat pillows, only instant coffee, no face cloths. It just felt like a very basic and cheap hotel room.

The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, and a pianist playing every morning. We enjoyed a few of the Theme nights and found the dishes very authentic. Architecturally, the hotel is stunning. It is in a quite area, has its own access to the beach and is close to bars and restaurants. All in all, we had a fabulous stay and hopefully we will return.

We loved this hotel. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly each day. The pool area is lovely and it is easy to get sun loungers at pretty much any time of the day. There are steps next to the pool area which take you straight down to a beautiful beach. The food in the restaurant was great and there was lots of variety, each night there were plenty of vegetarian options as well as fish dishes for example. My partner has a peanut allergy and the chefs were helpful and accommodating with this. We booked a massage with the beautician that is based in the hotel which was excellent and really relaxing. The only slight issue we had was that our room was on a lower floor below a bar next door to the hotel and the music kept us up on one of the nights, but this isn't really in the hotel's control. Overall, we had an excellent stay.

Breakfast area very clean. Best buffet breakfast I have seen since living in the Middle East, everything fresh from fruit, cured meats, yogurt, beautiful local pastries and breads, variety of nuts cooked oatmeal- could not fault this place. Even had a gentleman playing piano during breakfast - not for everyone but we enjoyed it.

We loved this hotel. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly each day. The pool area is lovely and it is easy to get sun loungers at pretty much any time of the day. There are steps next to the pool area which take you straight down to a beautiful beach. The food in the restaurant was great and there was lots of variety, each night there were plenty of vegetarian options as well as fish dishes for example. My partner has a peanut allergy and the chefs were helpful and accommodating with this. We booked a massage with the beautician that is based in the hotel which was excellent and really relaxing. Had a very relaxing week early July. Not too busy so finding a sunbed by the pool was simple as was finding a table in the restaurant. Great range of food at breakfast and dinner.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. The staff in this hotel are all so friendly and helpful. Our room was bright airy and spacious and also had a balcony. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, and a pianist playing every morning. We enjoyed a few of the Theme nights and found the dishes very authentic. Architecturally, the hotel is stunning. It is in a quite area, has its own access to the beach and is close to bars and restaurants. All in all, we had a fabulous stay and hopefully we will return.

Nice calm hotel with friendly staff. Lovely ambiance and decor. The pool area had plenty of Sun loungers and easy steps access to the beach, boardwalk and restaurants. The bar area is small with a feel of Sports bar ( large screen TV); functional but not especially relaxing. Our bedroom was large with a small balcony overlooking the garden and beach.
