Fantastic hotel, value for money. Super nice, friendly and helpful staff. Location is perfect with regards to shopping, beach, restaurant, Palais, train station. Only minus, no sun at the pool. And no extra benefits at the beach club like cheaper sunbeds or discount on food.

Expedia can confirm there was a mistaken double booking the second 4 minutes (yes 4 minutes so an obvious computer entry error)after the first. Nevertheless despite expedias entreaties and my own the hotel refused to move from the common sense equitable position of recognising that there had been a mistaken double booking but insisted more than once to me and to Expedia that they would charge two payments for two rooms even though I am just the one person. There is the well known legal position that you can’t have it both ways. If as you insisted there was a contract for 2 rooms justifying 2 payments which you enforced at my expense then you cannot unilaterally without my agreement then decide to cancel the second room but still enforce payment for this very second room . One room one payment makes sense; even two rooms two payments has logic. But what you did was illegal a breach of contract/ you took two payments while refusing to offer me the second room which you had insisted multiple times was the legal contract. You cannot charge for two rooms but fail to deliver the two rooms. You only gave me one room while having me pay for two You only offered me one room and not a second. You failed to give me the second room while still charging for it.I insist you pass this communication to your head office and want immediate acknowledgment from you that you have done so. You need to not risk your reputation any further as I will be calling Expedia my witness .

The hotel and room itself was very clean, spacious and convenient (close proximity to beach and main area). We liked the fact that it was calm, quiet and safe. Unfortunately it was the only hotel that did not do anything special for our honeymoon. I placed a comment when I booked and verbally told the employee again once I arrived. He took note of it but nothing was done. What was even more disappointing was during checkout, we overheard the staff wish the man in front of us a happy birthday. They also gave him a small gift. The elevator also broke down during our stay. People were stuck for awhile which made us uneasy. We then used the stairs for the remaining three days. Jacuzzi was only available for an extra fee which I found unfortunate considering the cost of the hotel. Other than the small things I mentioned the hotel was great.

Excellent hotel. This company knows how to manage its properties. Also close to the beach, shopping, clubs, restaurants. Good value for a very expensive area to visit.
