Bizan Kaigetsu

Hotel with a great view over Tokushima city. Property is tidy but looking a little old and tired. Onsen (hot pool) is nice. Restaurant is buffet style and OK without being amazing. You need to own/rent a car if you stay here because it is difficult to reach from Tokushima (there is a shuttle bus once a day, and a ropeway).

Everything was perfect! What a view, food, and onsen!!! Highly recommend!

The absolute best thing about this hotel is that it came with a buffet dinner and breakfast. And they were not run of the mill buffets. So much variety - all kinds of fish (sashimi included) meat, veges and soups and they were mostly all so yummy. The price was very reasonable too - in fact, it was downright value of money given the superb meals included. Room was big with a balcony that faced the sunset, lovely. The public bath was delightful too. And free parking! We really enjoyed our stay, full marks for this hotel, we will surely stay here again if we travel to Shikoku in future.

This is a mountain top resort hotel with spectacular views of the city, ocean and surrounds. There is a wonderful park next to the hotel for quiet and relaxing walks. (NB - this is in a remote, isolated area, no shopping or crowds!!). A great place to relax and enjoy with no distractions. A free shuttle will take you from Tokushima Station and return you after your visit. The meals are buffet-style, good variety of Japanese dishes (limited selection of western dishes). Not gourmet but very satisfying. The public baths are wonderful, especially enjoying the outdoors area. There is even a small Karaoke room which can be a lot of fun. Excellent value for money. Recommended.

It's quiet and has a nice view. Also, there is a shuttle bus, so it is very good to go to Tokushima Station. Dinner and breakfast are very good. Hot springs are good, and ice cream after hot springs is good. Recommend.
