Abbey Hotel, London Shepherd's Bush

Extremly basic. Tv in room 5 didnot work, i was there with my daughter so wasnt out late and wanted the tv working .no shampoo or conditioner or soap in shower and i left all that at home so i could take less stuff with us, there was liquid soap for hand washing. Perfect location for westfields shopping

Pro: 1. the location is very good (few minutes away from the central line) 2. the staff are friendly. Con: 1. the staff is not always reachable (Try to contact the front desk around from 1900 to 2000, but no one answer the phone) and difficult to reach (the phone number in Google map is not the front desk’s number) 2. we booked a room for two people but they only offered one key. 3. The bathroom is very tiny, cannot even turn around 4. The bathroom use motion detector switches, therefore it is possible that the light would turn off itself when you are still using the bathroom or the light would no turn on when you enter 5. The bathroom is a little bit dirty, there are mould. 6. The bathroom has no place to hold your clean clothes or towels, there is no hook or handle. 7. The room is not fully clean when I first moved in, there is water in the kettle, there is hair on the bed, there is rubbish beside the bin 8. The Wi-Fi service is horrible, it is not stable, you may disconnect when you are using it and sometimes you cannot even found it. 9. The room is a little bit small, cannot fully open my suitcase. 10. The TV is a 24 inches monitor with cable which does not fit the description in their website. 11. The sheets, quilts, pillows, all the bedding have stains on it, not so sure they are clean or not. 12. Even the sign on the door is not stick accurately 13. The room is a little bit noisy, loud music would be played by neighbour at night (and you cannot find staff to solve t

It is so close to Westfield ....... is probably the most positive thing i can say about the place !!! Checking in was a breeze and i get that you need to see ID but not sure that GDPR states that you are allowed to take a picture of it on your phone ? i am just waiting for the email to say i have been cloned somewhere ? room was on the lower ground floor with two tiny windows that were open when I got there , I am guessing to try and get rid of the horrible smell that lingered in the room . the two single beds looked like they had been taken from the local hostel and probably the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever tried to get to sleep on which I might add I didn't get too much of with the constant noises all night The toilet smelt worse than the main room and the annoying auto on/off light came on when you got anywhere near the door was a nightmare .The frosted glass on the window didn't make up for having no blinds and luckily there was nobody walking past as I was in there. the black mould on the ceiling didn't give off great vibes either after trying to get some sleep I gave up and left earlier than I needed to the next morning i am sorry I couldn't be more positive about this place but unfortunately I think that it needs a major overhaul to meet any sort of standard

I will start with the positive, the staff was very nice and the area was very centric and easy transportation access. Now, the property was a bit old, we did not get the room in the pictures, some towels had holes in them, the decorative pillows were dirty, the light in the bathroom was automatic and turned on and off all night, we could hear everything that was going on in the next room. WiFi did not work at all. If you won’t be in the room all day I would say it’s good enough.

The room was below a creaking upstairs room. Loud voices could be heard. The bathroom light went off as you were in the shower. On a timer I think.

This place is awful. There’s no air conditioning, and the windows don’t even open so I can air it out. The ceilings are terrible short - a tall guy such as myself cannot even stand up straight. No hot water in the shower, the bathroom stinks like there’s a sewage backup, and there’s a storage in the room with a broken door displaying bags of the hotels belongings crammed in here. It’s a top floor room with no lift and it’s terribly hot. I could add more but that should give you an image. I honestly feel like I should be given a full refund for this room - it truly is THAT bad.

No separate seating area, not as large as stated on advert, a smaller TV (24 inch not 32). The bed was on wheels that had no way to lock them so every time I moved, the bed shifted. A plug directly next to the bed showed sign of burning or heat damage. The bathroom was reasonable and the shower was large, which was nice. However the extractor fan did not function and the movement sensor kept turning the lights off. The shower water was warm which was welcomed. A light fixture was hanging out of the ceiling and mold was growing on the window, likely because of no extractor. I doubt I will stay here ever again

Staff were very helpful and polite, rooms were clean and tidy, beds were very comfortable and sheets crisp and white. Downside there was no parking around the property and being disabled, that posed a problem for me and ended up with a parking ticket. And room was up 4 flights of stairs. All in all a pleasant stay and I would happily return

Place is a shabby old lady, but also charming. Location is great and young gentleman at the front desk was kind and helpful. Unfortunately, there was a dreadful odor from a bathroom floor drain.

Toilet stank. Tons of junk in the cupboard. Slimy TV remote control. Broken widow. Doggy neighbourhood.

I loved staying in Shepherd’s Bush. So handy for Central London and for late night eateries after the theatre. Easy to get back to King’s Cross too. The hotel was basic but fine. Our room wasn’t very well cleaned - not enough towels, no soap, hair in the bed, but the man at reception was helpful and sorted things. The beds were comfy and we slept well. It wasn’t expensive. We’d stay here again.

The hotel was well sign posted and reception was nice and clean. The receptionist was very helpful and made checking in and out very easy. The room was cosy but practical, with all the facilities we needed. There were coffee facilities in the room however the cups were dirty upon checking in and was left there after room clean, new cups we asked for were still dirty. The room was standardly clean. We had a fan in the room which was well appreciated. Overall I enjoyed our stay and would happily rebook in the future.

Lovley hotel polite staff extremly quite which is fab as im a light sleeper close to tube and shopping center room had all we needed for a few nights stay only downside for me was the bathroom had a little step down which we wasnt aware of and i slipped and twisted my ankle causing a sore ankle for the whole trip. And the bathroom had a small amount of mould on the ceiling from little ventilation

The room was small but had everything that we needed. Priced appropriately for a small room. Convenient location for Wood Lane TV studios. The room was serviced daily and towels swapped. The shower was good and bedding looked clean and fresh. We were greeted and checked in very quickly on arrival. Had a wheelchair with us and this room was swapped from an upstairs to a ground floor room (we hadn’t notified the hotel about this in advance) and were very happy that they offered this ammendment. Seen a number of bad reviews but they did not apply to our experience at this hotel.

Hotel rooms really need an update. Bathroom was done but room was tired.

My son and I stayed for one night to attend a football match at QPR. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was small but perfectly adequate for our needs, and the price was excellent. We would definitely stay again.

Ok, s it’s cheap, but was disappointed to be given a twin room after booking a double (being 6’ and on the large size I can’t sleep in a single). The walls are paper thin and you could hear every noise from adjacent rooms. Very unlikely to re-book.

The staff was lovely and friendly and very hospitable and accommodating and the bathroom was very nice ... however the rooms didnt meet my usual expectations for 3 star ... very very small and cramped.. about the same size and layout as a cabin on a cruise but not as nicely appointed

This is a great selection for a basic place to lay your head, shower, and rest. It is no frills, but 3 blocks from the Picadilly line and right across the street from the Mall. The front desk man is very helpful and kind. I would stay here again, especially for the low price they offered.

Great location opposite Westfields. Basic hotel but clean, modern bathroom, comfortable bed. Perfect for a night's stay.
