Pros: The rooftop 100% makes this hotel! The staff up there was very friendly and attentive; I actually looked forward to going up there. The sunset view at night is stunning and the food was fantastic. Now to the not so good stuff I booked my trip on Expedia and because of the time change, I landed the day after my check in to the hotel. When I got there, I was told that my reservation had been canceled due to being a no show. Thankfully they were able to resolve it and I was able to check in. Next, I received a phone call 4 days into check in around 2pm saying I was due to check out at noon that day when I was booked until noon the 13th. I went back and forth with the woman on the phone for about 5 minutes as I'm looking at my email reservation then she gets back on the phone to tell me it was a system error. When I got back to my room, my key had been deactivated. A part of me booking this particular hotel was the gym, however, the one and only treadmill here was not working. The overall hotel is just alright. I definitely should've done my research as far as the location goes. I wouldn't necessarily recommend.

OK hotel. Did not feel like a VIP hotel, as we did not receive any benefits for this at all. Spa was closed until the last day of our stay, even though we had purchased room category with spa access included.

Pas de piscine intérieure comme indiqué (seulement le spa dont l’accès est réservé uniquement aux adultes, limité à une heure par jour par personne. Il n’y a pas de vestiaire. Il faut descendre avec le peignoir dans l’ascenseur pour descendre au spa. Attention : la demi pension correspond à un menu du jour et non à un buffet à volonté (1 seul menu imposé par jour) ce qui ne correspond pas du tout à un enfant. Parking très cher (19€ par jour) en raison de son accès et de sa superficie (10 places pour l’hôtel entier). Hôtel loin des attractions touristiques (plage, sagrada familia, parc guell, musée Picasso…). Hôtel très bruyant en raison de la boîte de nuit en bas de l’hôtel. Mauvaise insonorisation. Chambres propres.

Absolutely stunning hotel! On arrival they showed me my room although it was nice it had two single beds together (which I can not stand) I went to ask reception if I could change rooms and they provided me with a stunning larger room. The staff are very accommodating at both the reception and rooftop bar. The room itself was clean and very spacious, nice tv, wardrobe and all amenities you would need. The star of this hotel would definitely be the rooftop bar and restaurant with panoramic views of Barcelona and a nice modern style to the decor. The area surrounding the hotel provide many restaurants, bars and cafes. As this was a solo trip I did feel safe walking around both the area and hotel alone at night. The hotel also has a spa/ swimming pool, the swimming pool is on the smaller size and can feel a little crowded when there’s 3 or more people. Overall great stay for the 4 nights I was there!

Trevligt hotell, hyfsat centralt. Typ 20 min promenad till city. Fans inte jätte mycket restauranger runt omkring. Trevlig personal och ganska bra rum. Fick först ett rum med fönster in i ett schakt med poolen i botten. Men som tur var fick vi byta till ett med fönster mot gatan. Ganska liten och sliten pool. Men sköna bastubad. Barn är bara välkomna några timmar på morgonen. Finns garage med livet som insats.

Kleines, stickiges Zimmer. Winziges Fenster nach innen. Die Umgebung ist fürchterlich. Der Sportbereich ist sehr klein, es gibt kaum Geräte und die Hälfte davon ist defekt oder außer Betrieb. Das Hotel ist das Geld nicht wert.

Lovely hotel with great bars and spa facilities. Rooftop bar was great with a good vibe and view. Location is near a tube but around 15mins to city centre by metro, but easy to get too. Note: Pool/Spa is only accessible for kids 9-12am. Restaurant despite having space has a long wait, if you don’t book in advance.

Do not stay at this dirty hotel unless you want bed bugs. Room was infested with insects. Realised when belongings were covered in insects. Left the property with numerous large insect bites on face and body, itchiness, fever. Had to take belongings down to reception covered in insects to get the hotel to actually do something. Have since seen other reviews which also confirm the insect problem. Room was totally different to pictures shown on Expedia. The room I was moved into when the hotel accepted there was an insect infestation in my initial room was the room which was actually booked in the first place. Hotel advised that there are different categories of room within ‘deluxe double’ which means if you book deluxe double you can end up in a room with no window to the outside and much smaller than described and pictured. Air conditioning only blows out hot air. Hotel manager rude and disrespectful. Advised she would process a refund for the insect infested room if I reported the issue to Expedia however hotel is now refusing to honour this commitment. Room service is not 24 hours as advertised on Expedia. Amenities in room are not as advertised on Expedia - numerous of these amenities do not exist. The spa at the hotel is nice but this is the only positive. The pool is not as heated as advertised though.

I hated this hotel and couldn’t wait to leave! Staff were rude, bathroom dirty, ants in room, rooms are small with views of rubbish dumps and building works, large piles of sand all in the corners of the spa pool, cold spa area. The list goes on, the area felt unsafe and miles from all attractions, never would I stay there again!!

Don’t stay here is overprice they only limit air to 22 c and the actual air inside the room is reading at 29 if you have another option go ahead. Plus they only change towels, the beds were dirty they didn’t change the beds or clean the room at all. They didn’t clean nothing it’s horrible i paid for 4 2 adults and 2 kids and they are horrible for families. There is another hotel across the street cheaper and it looks nicer. We have to sleep with fans. I paid around 800 dollars for 2 nights stay. After I told them about the room being dirty they said they were going to call the lady but they never called me back. Please choose another hotel

Property itself was nice, that’s it. Had ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on our door while we were out. There was a bottle of wine left for us when we got back, meaning they entered against our wishes. The wine that was gifted by hotel was already opened. Area around the hotel was very dirty, lots of graffiti. Most businesses in the area were closed. Shower in our bathroom was very dirty. My recommendation, stay away!!

La stanza era piuttosto piccola, il letto abbastanza comodo ma il cuscino era terribile. In uno dei giorni , la pulizia alle 3 del pomeriggio, non era ancora stata effettuata. I was placed in a room literally in the corner of the hotel i had a 5×5 window that all i saw was neighboring windows. The room was pretty small. They provinded a bed ironing board which mad it hard for my to iton longer garments on it the tv didn't give any English channel they were always telling me they're going to fix it and never did.

Wir hatten einen insgesamt schönen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist top – nur etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand und zwei U-Bahn-Stationen in der Nähe. Unser Zimmer hatte eine Terrasse, was wir sehr empfehlen können – ideal zum Entspannen nach einem langen Tag. Das Hotel selbst ist ansprechend, allerdings könnte das Zimmer etwas renoviert werden. Die Türen waren leider nicht gut isoliert, sodass es teilweise etwas laut war. Insgesamt ein guter Aufenthalt mit kleinen Abstrichen – besonders die Lage und das freundliche Personal sprechen für eine Weiterempfehlung.

Wir hatten zwei Doble Deluxe-Zimmer für je eine Person und ein Doble Deluxe con teraza für 2 Personen. Erstere waren sehr schön und gut eingerichtet. Das Zimmer mit Terrasse hat einen wunderschönen Blick über die Stadt, wir haben jedoch zwei Dinge zu bemängeln: erstens ist das Bad extrem klein - wir sind nicht dick, aber wir kamen nur unter die Dusche, indem wir uns gegen die Wand pressten und die Tür vorbeidrückten. Zweitens ist das Bett höchstens 1,90 m lang, was nur eingeschränkt bequem ist. Ganz hervorragend ist der Spa-Bereich sowie das reichhaltige Frühstück. Neben dem hervorragenden katalanischen Gebäck ist besonders die Auswahl an glutenfreien Spezialitäten bemerkenswert! Die Nähe zu U-Bahn und Bus macht das Hotel zu einem perfekten Ausgangspunkt, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Das Personal ist ausnehmend freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr empfehlenswert!
Wir hatten zwei Doble Deluxe-Zimmer für je eine Person und ein Doble Deluxe con teraza für 2 Personen. Erstere waren sehr schön und gut eingerichtet. Das Zimmer mit Terrasse hat einen wunderschönen Blick über die Stadt, wir haben jedoch zwei Dinge zu bemängeln: erstens ist das Bad extrem klein - wir sind nicht dick, aber wir kamen nur unter die Dusche, indem wir uns gegen die Wand pressten und die Tür vorbeidrückten. Zweitens ist das Bett höchstens 1,90 m lang, was nur eingeschränkt bequem ist. Ganz hervorragend ist der Spa-Bereich sowie das reichhaltige Frühstück. Neben dem hervorragenden katalanischen Gebäck ist besonders die Auswahl an glutenfreien Spezialitäten bemerkenswert! Die Nähe zu U-Bahn und Bus macht das Hotel zu einem perfekten Ausgangspunkt, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Das Personal ist ausnehmend freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr empfehlenswert!

This is mainly a business hotel, not really geared to wards families. They had restrictions on the time of usage of the pool and gym which were not clear on this site. The room we were given was inner facing, i.e. had no direct sunlight so it was dark and the window opened onto an atrium directly above the pool, which was noisy until late at night (past 12pm). The pool was tiny and enclosed so not much fun on hot days. The walls of the room allowed a lot of noise from adjacent rooms and corridors which made it quite difficult to sleep late at night. The sky bar had no shade during the day so it was aimed at evening use mainly.. TV in the room had only one English channel (BBC World new (hence the business comment above)) and did not allow any of the smart functions.

Very friendly staff at reception. Rooms are small and the bathroom is very tight for space. Beds and nice but only 2 small pillows provided. The lights were on 24/7 in the corridors and poked through the bottom of the door which leads straight to the bed. The hotel itself needs a bit of modernizing especially the lifts and hallways. Big positive is that its very close to the Metro system where you can easily get anywhere. Didnt feel luxury for the high price point

Absolutely stunning hotel! On arrival they showed me my room although it was nice it had two single beds together (which I can not stand) I went to ask reception if I could change rooms and they provided me with a stunning larger room. The staff are very accommodating at both the reception and rooftop bar. The room itself was clean and very spacious, nice tv, wardrobe and all amenities you would need. The star of this hotel would definitely be the rooftop bar and restaurant with panoramic views of Barcelona and a nice modern style to the decor. The area surrounding the hotel provide many restaurants, bars and cafes. As this was a solo trip I did feel safe walking around both the area and hotel alone at night. The hotel also has a spa/ swimming pool, the swimming pool is on the smaller size and can feel a little crowded when there’s 3 or more people. Overall great stay for the 4 nights I was there!

Service and staff are great. Very responsive. However, the first room we were given was boiling hot (in December!). No functional AC. Hotel was full so we had to bear with it for 2 nights before they moved us. Replacement room was a lot smaller - too small to be a family room but a smaller room was better than a hot room. For a 4* hotel that is unacceptable.

The property was in a good condition. The daily access to the spa was a good addition to our stay. Unfortunately the front counter staff did not recognise the Expedia VIP hotel access. Good access to restaurants and the local metro was a few minutes walk.

Pros: The rooftop 100% makes this hotel! The staff up there was very friendly and attentive; I actually looked forward to going up there. The sunset view at night is stunning and the food was fantastic. Now to the not so good stuff I booked my trip on Expedia and because of the time change, I landed the day after my check in to the hotel. When I got there, I was told that my reservation had been canceled due to being a no show. Thankfully they were able to resolve it and I was able to check in. Next, I received a phone call 4 days into check in around 2pm saying I was due to check out at noon that day when I was booked until noon the 13th. I went back and forth with the woman on the phone for about 5 minutes as I'm looking at my email reservation then she gets back on the phone to tell me it was a system error. When I got back to my room, my key had been deactivated. A part of me booking this particular hotel was the gym, however, the one and only treadmill here was not working. The overall hotel is just alright. I definitely should've done my research as far as the location goes. I wouldn't necessarily recommend.

El cuarto era hersomo y siempre habían taxis disponibles. Lo que no nos gustó fue el servicio y lo peligroso que era los alrededores del hotel. El primer día que llegamos al hotel, nuestro cuarto no estaba listo y mi esposo y yo no habíamos comido pero esperamos en el lobby con nuestras maletas. Mi esposo fue y compró un sandwich rápido y se sentó en las mesas frente a la barra a comer discretamente. Luego el bartender (un hombre mayor) le gritó a mi esposo delante de todos diciendo que se tenía que ir, y sacudía las manos como si estuviera espantando un gato de la calle. Eso no se hace, y menos a una persona que acaba de pagar tanto dinero en un hotel y ni tan siquiera comer algo pequeño rápido en el hotel donde pagamos quedemos y disfrutar de las facilidades. Entiendo que había un restaurante, pero acabamos de llegar del aeropuerto con nuestras maletas y como carajo íbamos a comer allá dentro o afuera del hotel con ellas con lo mucho que roban afuera. Incluso, dentro del hotel había una pareja distrayendo a los turistas en el hotel u habiendo sus carteras, ah, pero regañan a un gringo por comerse un sandwich en una mesa puesta precisamente para comer. Otra cosa, cada vez que hacíamos una pregunta a alguien en el lobby, nos contestaban como si fuésemos un estorbo y no tan siquiera se esmeraban por buscar una contestación. Eso no está bien. Anteriormente a este hotel, nos habíamos quedado en un Hilton en la ciudad de Barcelona a y nos trataron excelente. Aquí no regresaremos.

Tuve un problema porque dos chicas entraron en la mañana a mi habitación corriendo y yo estaba dormida!!! Como es posible que puedan entrar a mi habitación si está cerrada como pudo utilizar una llave para poder entrar entonces no hay ssguridad en las habitaciones así puede entrar cualquiera y robar tus pertenencias

Property itself was nice, that’s it. Had ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on our door while we were out. There was a bottle of wine left for us when we got back, meaning they entered against our wishes. The wine that was gifted by hotel was already opened. Area around the hotel was very dirty, lots of graffiti. Most businesses in the area were closed. Shower in our bathroom was very dirty. My recommendation, stay away!!

Hotel was clean, front desk staff was super helpful with explaining which metro lines to take and how far certain activities were from the hotel. Hotel was located within a 6 min walk to where daughter was staying for study abroad. Everything wass great, just felt they could have included breakfast for yhe cost, and just charge for dinner, inatead of charging for both.

Staff entered our room when Do Not Disturb sign was on the door. A total invasion of privacy. Hotel itself is okay but there nothing close. Walking outside the hotel does not feel safe. Graffiti everywhere. Will never stay here again.

The hotel is in a good location for the airport, the beach and the gothic quarter. Staff in the hotel weren’t particularly friendly and our check in was delayed by an hour which was annoying. The room was a reasonable size however the air conditioning was poor so it was very warm. Also the walls in the hotel are quite thin so we could hear the people next door talking and screeching until the early hours of the morning which was frustrating.

Very nice updated hotel. Walking distance to Sagrada Familia (25 mins), Arc de Triomf (20 mins), and a metro (5 mins). Two super markets nearby. The burger from room service is great, but the pizza is not. Staff was very friendly. Ordered us a taxi to head to airport. There’s actually a taxi station at the corner of the hotel.

Auch ein Einkaufscentrum Nähe mirador glories zum Bummeln, Einkaufen, Relaxen vorhanden. Nur die vielen graffities und stinkende Gullies, staubige Straßen, Bauarbeiten an neuen Hotelgebäuden gaben uns nicht gefallen. Das Hotel Salles war super! Großes Frühstücksbuffet, supernettes Personal, sehr sauber. Nur Staubsaugen im Zimmer fehlte an manchen Tagen. Ein Außenpool wäre auch schön gewesen.

8.5/10. La chambre est jolie, moderne, avec du rangement et un frigo bien frais. Bon wifi. Personnel sympa. Très bon spa, parfait pour se détendre, et on nous fournit peignoirs, chaussons et bonnets de piscine. Pas de bouteille d'eau d'accueil mais de l'eau en libre service à la réception. Pas de couette dans le lit, il a fallu prendre une couverture car on avait un peu froid. Un peu bruyant côté route mais c'est supportable. Le plus gros désavantage de l'hôtel est son emplacement : il est très excentré (au moins 30min à pied du centre et de tous les monuments à voir) et le quartier n'est pas des plus attrayant.

I loved the view from my big, roomy terrace. The food from the hotel bistro was delicious. Most of the staff were very helpful. The hotel has obviously been refurbished. The linoleum floor in my room was soft in some places, gave when stepped on, as if there was nothing underneath it. The rest of the hotel that I saw was kept in good repair and spotless. Someone was constantly cleaning something. I would (and actually have future reservations to) stay there again.

Sehr schönes gepflegtes Hotel. Unser Dreibettzimmer war zweckmäßig, das besagte große Schlafsofa war nicht vorhanden, definitiv nur für eine sehr schlanke, kleine Person möglich. Die Lage war super, 5 Minuten zur U-Bahn oder zum Bus. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und das Abendessen ebenfalls sehr abwechslungsreich (3-Gänge-Menü). Sehr schönes gepflegtes Hotel. Unser Dreibettzimmer war zweckmäßig, das besagte große Schlafsofa war nicht vorhanden, definitiv nur für eine sehr schlanke, kleine Person möglich. Die Lage war super, 5 Minuten zur U-Bahn oder zum Bus. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und das Abendessen ebenfalls sehr abwechslungsreich (3-Gänge-Menü). Very nice updated hotel. Walking distance to Sagrada Familia (25 mins), Arc de Triomf (20 mins), and a metro (5 mins). Two super markets nearby. The burger from room service is great, but the pizza is not. Staff was very friendly. Ordered us a taxi to head to airport. There’s actually a taxi station at the corner of the hotel.

Lovely hotel with great bars and spa facilities. Rooftop bar was great with a good vibe and view. Location is near a tube but around 15mins to city centre by metro, but easy to get too. Note: Pool/Spa is only accessible for kids 9-12am. Restaurant despite having space has a long wait, if you don’t book in advance.

Great experience staying at this hotel. Worth the prize. Roof top bar and spa are the highlight. We stayed with my 2 little children and enjoyed every minute of it. Recommend it for families.

Cleanliness is okay. Staff were rude and miserable. Breakfast too much unhealthy food and very noisy. Spa, the guy that looked after it it feels like he doesn’t want anyone to use the facility. For a four star hotel, they can do much better. Start with staff to be more polite as it was not nice to be in a country where you understand very little of the language but you are also trying hard. Not a great place to stay
