Helpful staff at checkin, really loved their benefit of including minibar refills (like the sparkling and still waters), gym is great, and the atmosphere in the hotel is lovely. Area around is mixed vibes, lots of construction nearby and also close to the neighborhood of the locals (more trash receptacles you’ll walk by). Convenient location for trains.

Great property. Helpful staff. Free mini bar with 3 fruit juice drinks and 4 bottles of water daily. Located close to everything nice. Pros: Location, gym, mini bar, 20mbs decent wifi, air conditioning, blackout curtains, great mattress for sleeping Cons: Bathrooms do not have a ventilation system so if you don't keep the door closed after a shower, your entire room feels like the Amazon rain forest. They need to install vents to handle the humidity

Reception Staff is excellent. Wonderful English and very helpful for all questions. Room and bathroom are spacious as was storage space for luggage and belongings. In-hotel breakfast was excellent in taste, choices, and quantity. The area around the hotel is very urban and lots of graffiti. Once inside, we felt very safe. Reception staff recommended a local restaurant for dinner which was great. Parking garage was nearly impossible to enter and exit due to small size. But otherwise, parking was excellent. Hotel location is near the waterfront and across town from Segrada Familia but with good walking shoes, we saw a LOT of central Barcelona in one day. the area around the Picasso Museum is very cool.

There was very little sound insulation in the room, we got woken up several times during the night because of door slamming and could hear guests in other room talking. Also i saw a bug crawling over the floor and under the bed. Other than that the stay was good. Very good location, excellent breakfast and very nice people in the reception

Good stay, excellent reception staff, extremely helpful. Good location. Great breakfast, great shower, comfy bed, although I found pillows uncomfortable. Liked the hotel a lot and would definitely stay here again. Its very handy for the cruise terminal, not far from the Ramblas, and near a metro station too. My only complaints were, we stayed in March and the air conditioning was not working and room was far too warm. Also felt the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner.

Property is nice and the neighborhood was our favorite in Baca. Only issue is they didn't clean or replenish our room unless we made a fuss. Multiple days they left notes saying they tried and no cleaning. Not true

The hotel itself was beautiful; with great staff, perfect and convenient location, and comfortable, clean rooms. The noise, though, was on a different level. I barely slept the two nights I was there. I could hear clear conversation every time someone was outside the room, which seemed to be more often than not (maybe it was just the location of my room). Whether it was people in the hall or the room/ balcony next to me, clearly paper thin walls as I am up to date on all my Neighbor’s tea! I also paid to upgrade for a balcony with city view, which really was a tiny view of one street and the other 75% looking at a construction site & parking garage. Would not spend the money for this again. Next time try marketing such a room as a “partial” view so you’re not ripping people off.

Poor soundproofing. Kept awake by noise of people talking in the street and corridor. Room comfortable. Bed huge and so comfortable. Fridge and drinks a bonus. Staff lovely and helpful. Fantastic location for walking into Barcelona or getting metro as parralel station only 1 minute away.

I was not a fan of this property. The staff was friendly and pleasant. There was a good selection at the breakfast buffet. The location is ok however, do not expect a good nights rest. The walls are paper thin - from hearing your neighbour blow there nose to flushing the toilet. You can hear everything in the hallway. There must be something wrong with what I assume is the piping because you would hear the loudest metal banging noise around 11 pm for a good 45 minutes. Finally, it is situated on a fairly busy street so you could hear everything happening outside all day and night.

The location was perfect, the staff attentive and quick and the room clean and comfortable. We loved that you needed a room key to go up in the elevator. That's a big thing, Also, we needed to store our bags for a few hours before we left and they made it so easy and comfortable for us to hang out for a few hours in the lobby.

The staff were in general lazy, apathetic, disengaged and lacked empathy. I told them twice that I have a medical condition - anemia. The forced air heater in my room did NOT work correctly. They sent two staff to "look." They gave me BS reasons. I slept with sox on my feet and gloves on my hands to help keep my anemic body warm at night.I put on layered night clothes too. I am a foreigner - I traveled 3,000 plus miles to stay at a hotel where the staff disrespected my medical condition and were to apathetic and LAZY to ensure I received high-quality service!! #INNSIDEDOBETTER!!!!

Every request was met with pure professionalism. Michael the security officer Was exceptional. Bringing extra pillows to the room and Supplying me with a wheelchair when I had sprained my ankle. Purchase breakfast every day that you are there. It is exceptional and cannot be missed. Staying in 4 different countries in Europe this was the best. If only we had started our 3 week journey with such quality. We were blessed to end with it, even so!!!

The breakfast buffet was INCREDIBLE! Best I have ever had in a hotel and I have travelled extensively. However, the room was very warm with no way to cool it down. The staff was not helpful in this case. Location was good with the metro right outside.

The hotel was clean and the staff was both friendly and professional. It was located in the most convenient area of Barcelona for both walking and taking the the Metro...the Metro stop being steps away from the front doors of the hotel. There were also many eateries close to the hotel. We would definitely consider this hotel for a return trip to Barcelona.

Lovely hotel but just outside we had our bag stolen whilst stood next to it. Contained passports and money and medication. The hotel would benefit from a doorman for better security. Missed our cruise because of this.

Stayed here one night before going on a cruise. Very good location to cruise port. Was only a $9 euro taxi to cruise. Breakfast was a 10/10. Room was nice sized. I unfortunately got a room beside party goers so my noise level was higher than expected but sometimes that happens.

It is not in the city center. The proximity to Las Ramblas that they claim to be from, is only accessible via cross streets that both staff and locals tell you to avoid because they are unsafe. In order to avoid these cross streets you have to trek around to the beginning of Las Ramblas, only to then walk by a park that is even more dangerous. It's a cement park ( No trees) filled with graffiti skaters drug dealers. Awful ! I placed a review with pictures on Google you can look at. They were arresting two men on the first day we got there. Had to take a taxi in every night for fear of having to walk by there at night. Avoid yourself the headache, Barcelona is filled with beautiful safe and affordable hotels to stay in. We stayed in The Catalonia Magdalenes last time and it was amazing. Perfect location beautiful rooms and even better priced.

El lugar esta buenisimo, el staff atiende muy bien y el edificio es hermoso. El problema es que no puedes cobrar 22€ por un desayuno si tu hotel esta al aldo del Raval, tampoco cobrar 3,5€ por lavar un par de medias. Entiendo que es un hotel de cadena, pero tiene precios irrisorios para el lugar donde se encuentra.
