Comfort Inn Decatur Priceville

The only bright spot was the friendly young lady that checked us in. The lobby smelled, the bed springs popped and were noisy snd pokey, the tub ceiling was rusty, the shower stream was hard, the curtains were totally ripped, the desk chair was ripped and duct tapped, the towels were worn and thin and carpet was sticky. The bed linens were clean.

The ceiling in the lobby had a tile that was clearly full of black mold. While in our room 223 using the bathroom, someone in the room above us was flushing the toilet and the toilet contents were coming out of the wall onto our toilet. There was a hole in the wall that appears that has been like that for a while. We were able to switch rooms, but the sheets in the new room were stained, but appeared clean enough to use. This hotel is in some serious need of updates.

Hotel is older. Carpet is dirty, the cloth booths in dining area are really dirty, the indoor pool was ice cold, there was mold in the bathroom and the shower curtain rod was broken.

The young lady that checked me in was courteous and friendly. Room was clean and met our needs.

Breakfast was one of the best in this class of hotel. The sausage was flavorful and the eggs will not watery. I would highly recommend this place to stay in if only for the breakfast. The room rate was also very affordable.
