Stayed for 2 nights and could barely get a good night sleep due to poor soundproofing - could hear other people's TV, conversations, kids, etc. Breakfast area is too small and gets crowded, hard to find a place to sit inside or outside. Choices are very basic and running low on supplies, have to remind staff to replenish. The location is nice with lookout and promenade along the river close by. About 26 min drive to La Mauricie National park entrance. The hotel has EV charging station, which we used.

My mom has an disability, I asked them to be on the first floor because there is no elevator they told me they couldn't do that. My mother had to climb the stairs to the second floor. She's in a rolling chair and She's BPCO with oxygen.. .. I asked for a refund to go elsewhere cause i wanted my mom to have a good place for her he said no. I will never recommend someone to go there and I will never return!

Durant mon séjour de quatre nuits: les lits n’ont pas été fait, les poubelles jamais vidé je devais les apporter moi-même au comptoir à l’accueil, chercher à l’accueil le papier de toilette, aucun ramassage de serviettes ou débarbouillettes. On m’a répondu qu’ils avaient adhéré au programme vert.

Aucune insonorisation, c'est mon avis-clé. Il y a un espace d'un pouce sous les portes des chambres tu vois carrément dans le corridor, tu entends TOUT ce qui se passe dans le corridor ET dans les chambres et d'une chambre à l'autre, tout le temps. Courant d'air froid assez important également. Je devais monter la température de la chambre à 26 pour qu'on soit confortable de base, ça équivalait à du 20 à la maison, ce n'était vraiment pas chaud. J'ai trouvé dommage que chaque petit verre de carton et/ou de plastique soit emballé individuellement, ça pourrait être remplacé par des distributeurs style "pop-up" pour les verres. Par contre l'emplacement était idéal pour le but de notre séjour. Personnel gentil cependant.

Older hotel but rooms were clean. We used the pull-out couch which wasn't great in terms of comfort. Also asked for pillows and an extra blanket for it and they said they didn't have any. So no pillows for the extra bed?? Very strange. Breakfast was decent with scrambled eggs and sausage as well as usual continental fare.

The room was clean and spacious. The water pressure was amazing and the toiletries provided smelled great. The breakfast which was included had a great variety of products. The only negative to my stay is that one of the drawers on the dresser kept opening on it's own leading to a nice bruise on my leg due to me walking into it during the night.

Beds need replacement asap. You can't sleep 2 in them. You barely move and the whole bed moves. Very bad night sleep. Room was hot during whole night, and kept going back to 21degrees even if I selected 18-19 about 4 times during the night. At checkout, I complained about it, and clerk told me they control room teperature and I should olf called frontdesk??? Should of told me that when I checked in , or simply put a sticker on the thermostat to inform clients, or remove thermostats since its useless. Its kinda important information. Breakfast was ok, but took a good 15 minutes to bring back more eggs / sausages. They could monitor more closely the inventory. Not coming back

L’hôtel est bien, mais très mal isolé, le matin c’est impossible de dormir, on entend tout ce qui se passe dans les corridors. Les lits sont confortables, vieux tapis dans les chambres, aurait besoin d’un rafraîchissement. Personnel à l’accueil vraiment sympathique.

The magnetic key were malfunctioning every time I try. After many going to the front des jeux and back, they finally used he’s main key to open my door for the night. The lady in the morning at the front desk was clearly annoyed with us asking simple questions. The room was spacious and clean.

The book a single room with a sofa. The bed was not king size. We ask the two young ladies at the front desk for a room to help us get a room with two beds. They could do that because it was against the hotel policy. We ask to talk to hotel manager. They refused to do let us talk to the hotel manager. We left the hotel to find a two bed stay in another hotel. They said the hotel manager would call us back. Instead the clerck called back to say that we could not recover part of the 200$ already fully paid. I do not recommend a stay at Shawinigan Comfort Inn hotel. Instead I recommend Hotel Marineau in nearby Grand-Mère. Way better for less money.

Petit déjeuner complet, facile de se rendre en ville (proximité de tout). On entend beaucoup les portes du couloir, les tapis sont très vieux et tachés. Nous avons aimé le séjour en général, mais le personnel du départ était très bête. Il a croisé mes enfants 30 secondes au total et se permet des commentaires négatifs alors que mes enfants étaient tranquilles au repas et sans gaspillage. Ils étaient contents de voir le Lobby et partir à l’aventure le matin… trop d’énergie (30 secondes) pour le commis désagréable.

On m'a dit que la règle est 4:00 pm pas avant (même si dans d'autres hotels, je rentre une à deux heures avant). j'ai fait un tour et resté dans ma voiture. à 15:30, je suis retourné. J'ai vu des clients servis avant 16:00. juste certains qui doivent subir le règlement. à 16:00, je me suis pointé à la reception. On m'a donné la clé. Surprise: la chambre n'est pas encore faite. on vient de la commencer. On m'a demandé d'attendre. J'ai remis les clés et j'ai quitté l'hotel pour me coucher ailleurs (la nuit est déjà payée à Expédia).

Endroit un peu en retrait de la grosse vie urbaine ce qui en fait un endroit tranquille. Il y’a avait des caméra de sécurité installé un peu partout. Le personnel était aimable et courtois, je m’y suis sentis bien sur le champs.

Very nice stay for a couple of nights in the cute town of Shawinigan. The room was clean and breakfast was decent except the bad eggs. The fitness room was closed.

Stayed for 2 nights and could barely get a good night sleep due to poor soundproofing - could hear other people's TV, conversations, kids, etc. Breakfast area is too small and gets crowded, hard to find a place to sit inside or outside. Choices are very basic and running low on supplies, have to remind staff to replenish. The location is nice with lookout and promenade along the river close by. About 26 min drive to La Mauricie National park entrance. The hotel has EV charging station, which we used.

Overall good My key card demagnetized twice in two days Breakfast OK but the butter was kept cold-can't spread it, and the scrambled eggs were cold.

Beds need replacement asap. You can't sleep 2 in them. You barely move and the whole bed moves. Very bad night sleep. Room was hot during whole night, and kept going back to 21degrees even if I selected 18-19 about 4 times during the night. At checkout, I complained about it, and clerk told me they control room teperature and I should olf called frontdesk??? Should of told me that when I checked in , or simply put a sticker on the thermostat to inform clients, or remove thermostats since its useless. Its kinda important information. Breakfast was ok, but took a good 15 minutes to bring back more eggs / sausages. They could monitor more closely the inventory. Not coming back

My husband and I stayed for 1 night on August 19th. Two negatives...We had a room close to the hallway entrance and so it was a little noisy at times and the brown carpeting was visibly stained, worn-out and dirty looking. There was also a stuffy smell like that of a cleaning solution mixed with the smell of cigarettes even though we were supposed to be in a non-smoking room. The positives...attentive staff, especially at breakfast. Clean bed and well equipped bathroom. I especially liked the complimentary iced water with lemon slices provided throughout the day. A carpet upgrade would certainly take the ratings up a level or 2.

Didn’t like the receptionist that night she should have had the day off cause she was sick. Like real sick. Then we were sent to the 3rd floor. No elevator in the building. Clean rooms, great breakfast !
