Riom was tired and shabby. Communal areas were dirty and uncared for. Would only take a few minutes to wipe down woodwork. Bed was full of hairs but this was rectified immediately when we complained. Plus points were that the indian food.in the pub downstairs was some of the best we've ever eaten. Location also very good. Definitely not.a boutique hotel.

The pub isn’t much to write home about but the room was adequate and clean. It’s in a nice quiet area with free parking at the weekends. Ok for one night.

The room was extremely warm on arrival, it was appreciated that bottles of water were in the fridge. The bed was comfortable, but the slats kept coming off and we had to be very careful how we moved on the bed. We couldn't sleep due to the constant noise from an outside vent which was at the side of the bathroom window, the bathroom was beautiful, clean, spacious, the shower was powerful. Even though the hotel was above the pub there was not any noise from the pub. The location of the hotel was great and transport was good too. I would recommend this hotel if you're not a light sleeper.
