From the moment we arrived at the valet parking area our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Our valet, an incredibly kind and helpful individual promptly brought out a luggage cart and assisted us in unloading our car. He then invited us into the hotel and guided us to the front desk, where the checkout process was incredibly easy and quick. After check-in, he escorted us up to our room. While in the elevator, he provided us with information about various amenities available at the hotel, including a complimentary popcorn and cappuccino machine. He also mentioned different restaurants and activities nearby. Upon entering our room, he gave us a thorough tour, highlighting its spaciousness, comfort, and breathtaking view. After unpacking and relaxing, we ventured down to the first floor, where we indulged in the delicious seasoned popcorn and cappuccino. We settled into the inviting lobby, complete with a charming fireplace. Later in the evening, we experienced a delightful dining experience at the Korean steakhouse located within the hotel. It was our first time visiting a Korean steakhouse, and the experience was truly remarkable. The entire waitstaff was friendly and helpful, explaining the menu items and offering valuable suggestions. Exhausted from our long drive we decided to retire for the night. The room was equipped with a comfortable couch and bed, and an amazing spa-style shower. The highlight was the window seating area with breathtaking views of Chicago

Location, location, location. Close to everything in the loop. Lobby was well appointed, fun & energetic. Room was large, clean and very comfortable. Wifi was good, and bathroom was nicely appointed. Pillows were great. The new restaurant was excellent and quite busy (reservations are a must) . The gym was cramped but clean. Workable.

This hotel is exemplary is every way. From the warm greetings and outstanding service from Antonio, Malcolm and Ebony to the chic and comfortable lobby, room and restaurant, we were delighted. The luxurious bed was a relief after a four-night stay the previous leg of our trip with a saggy mattress. Water pressure in the shower was great, and they have filtered tap water in the bathroom and at the 24/7 station in the lobby, so there are no plastic bottles — yay! We also loved the in-room coffee. We loved everything about the room, actually! We stayed here previously because it’s so close to the Chicago Theatre; keep it in mind if you’re seeing a show there. But it’s ideal for any activities. Valet parking is pricey ($69) but convenient, with in & out privileges. The location is unbeatable for public transit, too—just around the corner from the State & Lake L entrance and an easy bus ride to Lincoln Park and Navy Pier. We only had breakfast and a nightcap at the onsite restaurant, Perilla, but food, ambiance & service were excellent. The bartender made us a special mocktail with housemade Campari. However, there’s no shortage of restaurants and bars within walking distance if you want to explore, and it’s a quick L ride to the West Loop for an array of terrific choices. (I recommend Rose Mary.) The only caveat is that being so close to the L does yield noise on that side of the building, but I’m a sound sleeper and wasn’t bothered.

Very nice hotel, more late night options within the hotel would be nice. The “market” in the lobby is barely 10 items. Fortunately there is a 7-eleven across the street. Very centrally located for getting around downtown!

Rooms are old and not terribly clean. Mini fridge didn’t work and was not clean. The elevator is old and rickety. The whole thing could use an update. The staff was much nicer than other hotels in the area which I appreciated. Otherwise though… set expectations low for this one

This was our first time staying here and we very much enjoyed it. It was just nice and easy. Vincent was wonderful and always smiling. The front desk girls were so kind and welcoming. Room was nice, loved the view and nice bathroom but shower was kinda dirty. We would definitely stay again!! And recommend :)

The hotel was Ok. It was definitely described as more luxurious than it is. Sits on a loud intersection so our room could hear everything. One gentleman was beating a drum outside for 3 hours and we heard it all. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean…the reception area is small and gets very cramped, walk way to the elevator gets blocked by people checking in. For the money I spent, I don’t think I would stay here again.

Beautiful room and hotel. More thought could be put into making sure guests are not assigned rooms with connecting doors with strangers. Conversations can be heard clearly between doors and I heard one into 3:00 in the morning, hours after people were asked to leave the same room after a party. I do not think the hotel was at full capacity, so I believe we did not have to have a connecting room with anyone.

Loved the room. Huge comfy window seat that overlooked the river. Great place to hang out and relax after a day spent walking around. Location was ideal. East to cover the south loop and to head north to the Mag Mile. We took the train in and had a short walk to the hotel.

I recently stayed at the L7 by Lotte Hotel and let me just say… the service was NEXT LEVEL. From the moment we checked in, every single front desk member was friendly, helpful, and just genuinely welcoming. You can tell they take pride in making guests feel at home. I have to give a huge shoutout to the bellman because he truly went above and beyond. Not only did he take time out of his day to bring my daughter a cupcake for her birthday, but he also remembered her and asked how her trip was every time he saw her. That small moment made her feel so seen and so special on her sixth birthday, and as a mom I’ll never forget that. If you’re thinking about booking here, do it. The hotel is beautiful, but the staff is what really makes the stay unforgettable. We will absolutely be back! 🩷✨

We came to Chicago to attend the FABTECH trade show. I stayed at L7 Chicago by LOTTE with my daughter and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and truly made us feel at home. Ebony and Jason went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable, and the doormen team — Vincent and Antonio — were always so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Our suite on the 12th floor was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, with a stunning view of the city that made the stay even more memorable. The hotel itself is stylish, modern, and spotless, with great attention to detail in both the rooms and common spaces. The location was also ideal for exploring Chicago. Thanks to the amazing team at L7 Chicago by LOTTE, our trip to Chicago felt extra special. Requested adjoining rooms. Received a message that the request was notated. Called a week before the cancellation period was up to confirm adjoining rooms. Was told on phone they would be adjoining so did not find another hotel. Arrived and was told no adjoining rooms. Didn’t try to make it right, rather questioned me about who I talked to and tried to make it sound like I was lying. Was offered nothing to make up for it. Very disappointing.

This entire place is TOP QUALITY. It nearly feels like you are living in an apartment building. Ive stayed multiple times here and I can't say enough good things. Ideally located. The location & size of room was great. We had the king suite river view. They supply a tea kettle with no tea. I answered a pre-stay survey saying we were celebrating a birthday & no one even said happy birthday. The front desk was not friendly & my requests (yoga mat & microwave) at check in were ignored. I had to ask 3 times for the microwave & when they finally brought one, they wanted to move the coffee table to use that or suggested putting it on the ottoman, the window seat, or a luggage rack!!! I got an apology, finally, on the 4th call but was treated abruptly & never heard from management. After the first day I adjusted my expectations to expect no service. I would choose this place for the location at a good price only.

The location was great, and the staff were generally kind and friendly. However, there was an issue during check-in. The front desk staff initially gave us the wrong room — we had booked a room with two queen beds, but were given a room with only one queen bed. They corrected the mistake quickly, but during the process, the staff asked us to pay the deposit again, saying he charged wronly and they would be canceled later. We didn’t question it at the time and paid the second deposit. When we checked out, they told us that nothing had been charged to our card, including any deposits. However, later we noticed an unclear charge of $207 on our bank’s credit card record. We contacted the hotel multiple times, but they kept saying there was no record of the charge and that they were still investigating. We have yet to receive a clear explanation. We eventually filed a dispute with our credit card company. Initially, we thought it might be a deposit that hadn’t been canceled properly, so we answered "yes" when asked if we received the service, and explained the situation in detail. I should have answered "no". We hope the credit card company understands what happened. Overall, while we enjoyed our stay, this unclear charge left a very bad impression. Please be cautious of potential billing issues when staying here.

We loved our stay here! Couldn’t recommended it more, can’t wait to stay here again. The location is extremely convenient to shops, places to eat and public transportation that will take you anywhere you need to go! This is prime location for all things Chicago, the River Walk, the Mag Mile, tour busses, Millennium Park, etc!

Excellent location for walking Miracle or Magnificent Miles. As with the rest of Chicago, felt a bit uneasy walking the streets at night, as there was an altercation at the 7-11 across the street. Sirens are a very common, as the City has a real problem with crime. Fortunately, we were gone when the Labor Day shootings occurred.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very kind and helpful, the hotel itself is beautiful. Our room was modern, clean, and comfy. We both agreed that it was the most comfortable hotel bed we’ve slept in and actually took pics of the mattress in hopes we could purchase one for our home 😂. The restaurant downstairs has the same great service and great ambiance along with delicious food.

I’m so happy I decided to stay at L7 in Chicago for my 3 night getaway. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean with a fantastic view of the river. Dining in the Perilla restaurant was delightful both for breakfast, dinner and happy hour. I highly recommend it.
