Central property in the HEART of the city with almost everything walkable from it. Clean with friendly staff. Breakfast add in option is a MUST with large variety if excellent food and omelet station. Taxis waiting right outside in case you need to get around which makes it convenient.

Nous avions réservé pour nous deux une chambre de Luxe Premium pour trois nuits. La première nuit à été épouvantable avec un niveau sonore inacceptable et inexpliqué par le personnel (bruit de roulement, vibrations, intérieur, exterieur ??). Chambre 247. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre le lendemain matin et cette nouvelle chambre (323) était calme. Par contre l’équipement et l’agencement de ces 2 chambres (de dimensions un peu réduites) est très en dessous de celui que l’on pourrait attendre d’un hôtel 5*****. En bref: Chambre sombre et vis à vis livide. Décoration minimale. Salle de bain aveugle et étroite Pas de pantoufles Pas de peignoirs Manquent de nombreux accessoires courants dans la salle de bain Serviettes de bain de taille réduite 1 seul petit lavabo Toilettes non séparées. TV : les chaînes EuroNews ne fonctionnent pas. Pas. d’autres chaînes en Français, ni de chaînes anglaises ou US, contrairement à ce qui est indiqué dans le dépliant dans la chambre. Le parking coûte 37€/ jour. Il est cependant sûr. J’ai payé plus de 1200€ pour les 3 nuits, avec petit-déjeuner, parking et taxes ce qui est beaucoup trop élevé pour une telle offre.

We stayed 5 nights at Le Meridian. Our room was clean and comfortable. I loved having the mirror above the desk. That was a big help with getting ready and had good lighting. The hotel is in a great location. Bartender Mariano made a great old fashioned!

On arrival was given welcome drink. The room quality was not luxury Damaged furnishings like chair and tables Location wise was good Breakfast was ok the staff at breakfast time could not do enough. Provided coffees were really helpful Staff were ok wouldn’t say they did anything special considering it was our honeymoon Overall can’t say whether I would stay again or not

The property is at a great location and the staff is polite, however, the facilities are deplorable, our room was very hot and even after repeated requests there was no assistance, instead they just apologise and say that the hotel is very old so they cannot control the heating system, we had to open the window to sleep and the experience was really bad as there were a lot of mosquitoes. I had 29 mosquito bites in one night. I would never go back there as we were up all night because of the heat and mosquitoes and could not enjoy my holiday. I would not recommend anyone stay there ever. We had to visit the Pharmacist and get medicine for the mosquito bits as the bites turned into wounds in no time by etching.

Room sizes in Europe always seem a bit inadequate compared to the US but that’s just a continent thing. If possible travelers should get a room away from La Ramblas and as high as possible. It gets quite noisy at night but that’s just the location - you should expect some of it. But the convenience of being there is great. Hotel in general was fine. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was very helpful. I would recommend it as long as you are comfortable with the above.

Our room did not face Rambla which was great for us because it was a quiet one. The heat broke in our room and they could not repair it. They did offer to change rooms but we declined. Location was good for easy access to historical labdmarks

Room sizes in Europe always seem a bit inadequate compared to the US but that’s just a continent thing. If possible travelers should get a room away from La Ramblas and as high as possible. It gets quite noisy at night but that’s just the location - you should expect some of it. But the convenience of being there is great. Hotel in general was fine. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was very helpful. I would recommend it as long as you are comfortable with the above.

Breakfast add in option is a MUST with large variety if excellent food and omelet station. Expensive but the extra amenities such as bathrobes, complimentary 2 bottles of water per day, and accommodating staff make it worth it. Taxis waiting right outside in case you need to get around which makes it convenient.
