It’s a good place to stay if passing through for a day. Not for vacation though. No amenities besides a small bar. The lift or elevator can only fit average size of 3 people.

The room is clean and quiet. It was cold tho, even after I turned the heater on. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of variety. Staff was 5+, very helpful especially with last minute booking of taxi. Thank you for letting me store my luggage before check in and after check out. Location is about 10-15mins walk from La Sagrada, bus stations are nearby. I did feel safe walking alone when it got dark. My only concern was I put do not disturb on my door, but they still went in to fix my beddings and stuff. Overall, I would recommend the place and I'd definitely go back.

Todo salió perfectamente. El señor Federico nos recibió para el check in de manera muy atenta y amable. Como llegamos a las 10 de la mañana, nos guardaron las maletas para que pudiéramos pasear por la ciudad. La habitación en la que nos alojamos era bastante cómoda para 3 personas. The staff were friendly and helpful, spoke and understood English well. The area is quiet in the evening, being residential it has a different character and many cafes & shops close early (for Spain). The hotel is near major bus routes into town so a travel pass is a good buy. Also a comfortable (15 - 20 mins) walk from Sagrada Familia. The hotel is clean, no evening meals but the buffet breakfast was worth the money, a good selection from cheese & cold meat to chocolatey cereals and most things in between. Our bathroom didn't have any discernible ventilation so I knocked off a star for that, but the air con. was most welcome after coming in from a busy day in the sun.

As of Feb. 2024, the hotel is under renovation, so some rooms have likely been upgraded. My room was clearly older, but mostly functional. The big problem was that there was only one power outlet, and it was nowhere near the desk. The breakfast buffet offered lots of choice, and the breakfast room was pleasant. Close to Sagrada Familia and a metro stop.

Zudem war die Badewanne nicht richtig sauber, und auch der Duschvorhang ließ zu wünschen übrig.

Esse hotel está localizado numa região muito boa de Barcelona, bem próximo de uma estação de metrô. As ruas ao redor do hotel são ricas em restaurantes e mercados, facilitando muito o dia a dia do viajante. Andamos a pé até vários pontos turísticos da cidade sem problemas. Fomos bem atendidos no check in e check out. O quarto estava super limpo e bem arrumado. O tamanho era adequado também, bem confortável. As roupas de banho e cama eram excelentes. Gostamos muito do buffet de café da manhã também, tinha bastante variedade de comes e bebes com preço bom! Achei que a nossa estadia lá super valeu a pena e voltaria. Recomendo o hotel!

Chose this hotel because we book last minute and only few left with a decent review and mid range price . We travel a lot so we have a fair amount of experience of mid range to high end hotels . Let’s start with the good part . The property is a short walk to Sagrada . There are small cafes within walking distance . The nearby convenient store is a plus . The staff are friendly and helpful . Now for the cons : the hotel is old and room is dirty and very outdated . It’s very noisy and you can hear the people next door walking and moving . It is very hard to sleep . Plus the cars from outside was very loud . Bed is not very comfortable it moves a lot . The aircon was not working so it was very hot at night . It was a torture coming back to the hotel each time . I would not recommend this hotel if you are a light sleeper .. Would I stay here again , I’ll go somewhere else .

Das Hotel ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Sehr kleines Zimmer - kaum Ablage für Kleidung etc. Was absolut störend war, die gesamte Lautstärke im Hotel. Alles sehr hellhörig, dünne Wände, Türen fallen automatisch ins Schloss was unnötigen Lärm macht. Würde die Unterkunft nicht wieder buchen!

Pros - 25 mins from airport (40 euro) 15 mins walk to sagrada, small super market next door, quiet, air con effective, breakfast was good and ran until 10.30. Not as great - apart from the sagrada everything else is a 20 to 50 mim walk away. Also not much night life nearby just a couple of snall bars. Still a great hotel and away from the hustle and bustle. Also worth noting double was two singles pushed together. They were not held in anyway so moved apart easily.

Overall was ok, the pictures on tge website looks nicer the in realty. The room was very small and dark, i had a small window and after I showered it was all foggy, a little humidity in the room. I had to make an internacional call to my insurance and the lady at the reception was not helpful at all. The only thing i did like was the breakfast, very delicious and with an excellent service from Maira, she made all the difference.

Great hotel, very clean, the area is quiet but walking distance to Sagrada Família. The room is not big, it is spacious and comfortable, but as a tourist you’re not spending time in the room. A lots of food options in the area.

I like the property because it was very close to metro, Westfield mall, and it’s walkable to lots of restaurants. The property was clean, room was very simple.

The room is clean and quiet. It was cold tho, even after I turned the heater on. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of variety. Staff was 5+, very helpful especially with last minute booking of taxi. Thank you for letting me store my luggage before check in and after check out. Location is about 10-15mins walk from La Sagrada, bus stations are nearby. I did feel safe walking alone when it got dark. My only concern was I put do not disturb on my door, but they still went in to fix my beddings and stuff. Overall, I would recommend the place and I'd definitely go back.

Café-da-manhã razoável, chuveiro otimo e localização pertinho da sagrada familia. O problema foi o calor. Apesar de ser janeiro, o quarto estava quente e o sistema de ar não estava funcionando. Tivemos que abrir a janela, causando barulho e incômodo pois a mesma dava para um depósito.

A localização é ótima, perto de duas estações do metro (Monumental e Glories). O bairro é muito bom! Café da manhã bem completo. O quarto é pequeno para 3 pessoas, mas atendeu bem.

Esse hotel está localizado numa região muito boa de Barcelona, bem próximo de uma estação de metrô. As ruas ao redor do hotel são ricas em restaurantes e mercados, facilitando muito o dia a dia do viajante. Andamos a pé até vários pontos turísticos da cidade sem problemas. Fomos bem atendidos no check in e check out. O quarto estava super limpo e bem arrumado. O tamanho era adequado também, bem confortável. As roupas de banho e cama eram excelentes. Gostamos muito do buffet de café da manhã também, tinha bastante variedade de comes e bebes com preço bom! Achei que a nossa estadia lá super valeu a pena e voltaria. Recomendo o hotel!

The hotel location was about a 12 minute walk to the Sagrada Familia, which was why we chose this location but it was a bit far to walk from the popular shopping area close to Placa de Catalunya. The hotel is an older hotel and they could do more to modernize the hotel. Overall, the hotel was clean and the room service was good.

Perfect for a Barcelona visit: The hotel is centrally located within easy access of bus and metro stops and the key tourist attractions. My room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accomodating.

Pros - 25 mins from airport (40 euro) 15 mins walk to sagrada, small super market next door, quiet, air con effective, breakfast was good and ran until 10.30. Not as great - apart from the sagrada everything else is a 20 to 50 mim walk away. Also not much night life nearby just a couple of snall bars. Still a great hotel and away from the hustle and bustle. Also worth noting double was two singles pushed together. They were not held in anyway so moved apart easily.

Ich war insgesamt zufrieden mit meinem Aufenthalt im Hotel Glories, allerdings gibt es einige Punkte, die verbesserungswürdig sind. Das Personal war zwar sehr nett und hilfsbereit, und die Lage des Hotels ist gut – in etwa 10 Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß die Sagrada Família. Das Frühstück für 10 Euro war jedoch eher enttäuschend. Die Auswahl war ziemlich begrenzt. Ein weiterer negativer Aspekt war, dass bei der Zimmerreinigung die Bettwäsche nicht gewechselt wurde. Zudem war die Badewanne nicht richtig sauber, und auch der Duschvorhang ließ zu wünschen übrig.

Good location. Not too far of a walk from the or bus stops. Short walk to Sagrada Familia. So many choices for food. The included breakfast at the hotel was also good. Room was clean. Beds were ok. Hot shower. No complaints!

The hotel was adequate- rooms are clean, quite small. The breakfast option was great and the staff helpful. But the air conditioning was very poor. The main air conditioning in the wall did not cooling at all, and the room had a small floor fan unit that could not bring the room temperature down very much. With 90+ degree weather it made for quite uncomfortable sleeping.

My partner and I stayed here in July and it was a good experience. Then only issues where that the hot water in the shower has a chance of running out only if lots of people have taken a shower first that morning. The other issue would be the “soundproof” rooms where not very sound proof at all.
