Un hotel muy bonito debo reconocer que la cocina muy buena, y el personal amable. El hotel queda lejos del centro y es un poco inaccesible el salir a caminar ya que está empezando una carretera. Tampoco cuenta con elevador y para todas partes hay muchas escaleras. Pero la estancia estuvo muy acogedora la calefacción funcionó adecuadamente .

Excellent ambiance and service. We were immediately greeted at the door and helped with luggage. Laundry service and lunch boxes excellent. Outstanding breakfast. Both homey and elegant with multiple lounge areas. Happy hour in airy room. Beautiful grounds front and back. Situated at the end of the Main Street so not in the heart of town but nicely at the edge of it. We enjoyed the spacious family room with lake view with great bath tub for three nights and would return again. Only week point that didn’t bother us but the room walls are a bit thin.

Incredible, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff (especially Juan). Elevated dining experience, excellent common areas. Easy and short walk to town but slightly away from the noise of it. Rooms a little small/basic, good for backpackers.

The staff was nice. we did not get to try their restaurant. the hotel did not have air-conditioning. Could open the window but was not comfortable because our room was on the floor 0 and it was even with the ground. there was no screen on the window. Gaps in wood covering was wide enough for birds and animals and bugs to come in. Parking was terrible. Insufficient insufficient spaces available.Very good location! Walking distance from restaurants and shopping. Comfortable beds.

Lovely hotel. So cosy, very homely. I upgraded to a superior, lake view room. It wasn't expensive. Would highly recommend doing this if you can. Huge and spacious room, big bed and a view to die for! Lovely to wake up to each morning. Clean. Housekeeping was done well each day. There was a fridge in the room, tea and coffee and a hairdryer if you need it. WIFI worked well. Breakfast buffet was lovely with a good selection of breads, pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, eggs and more. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Good location on Avenida del Libertador which is the main thoroughfare in El Calafate. Come out of the hotel, turn right and literally walk straight. You will then start to find loads of restaurants, shops and a few bars. One small negative, the hotel especially the room was very warm. This is from someone who always gets cold! It is winter at present so I get the need keep the premises warm. However, it was just a little too hot for me and I couldn't seem to adjust the temperature control. Would recommend otherwise.

Check in was good and a pleasant warm welcome. However room was extremely hot with no option to adjust the temperature and coupled with thin walls (we could hear neighbours talk), made it a terrible night’s sleep. Reported the heat and the failing door lock the first morning befits going on tour. When we returned nearly 12 hours later, nothing was done, and same hot room despite opening the window for a while as recommended. Not acceptable considering how much we paid for this room.

This is a perfect hotel, walking distance to the down (10min ish but quick 10min), the waterfront is 1min away. Rooms are big and spacious and clean. The bathroom was big and clean. Highly recommend staying here. Breakfast is included and they have sweets, assortments of bread, scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, fruits, and el calafate jam (so you don't have to buy you're own to try!) The staff can answer any of your questions and provide details on tours. We stayed here for 3 nights and have no complaints.

This hotel is conveniently situated about 1 mile west of town towards the glacier. We stayed 2 nights in a superior room which was a good size. Rooms were very comfortable and clean, but felt a bit dated. The worst was poor sound insulation between rooms so we could hear the conversations of the group next door both evenings. We had everything we needed, very good breakfast buffet but could have done with water fountains in the hotel (might have had them but didn't see them) Good service from reception staff, very attentive and helpful.

Overall a good hotel. The name mirador was a littel disapointing because the view of the lake was okay but not special. i.e. there is a view and its a genuine viewpoint just the lake is far away from here and the elevation isn't great for it to be a great view. Overall friendly staff and good hotel for the area and price point

My husband and three teenage children rented two connected rooms at Mirador del Lago and had an amazing experience. Staff is beyond friendly and willing to assist you 24/7. From Juan in the reception to Verónica and her team in the restaurant. Rooms were cleaned daily, beds were really comfortable, good quality of toiletries (very unusual in this region of Argentina), and perfect room temperature for the harsh Patagonia winter. The restaurant is one of the best in town and the breakfast was like a 5star hotel: from the classic eggs & bacon to cured meats, cheese, yogurt, fruits and a huge variety of pastries, breads, and cereals. Highly recommended.

E quando vc acha que não pode melhorar, vem o café da manhã que é IMPECÁVEL! Com opções veganas e sem glúten (que raramente se encontra em hotéis), frutas frescas, opções de pães, frios e produtos típicos da região. Simplesmente sensacional Super recomendado!

The property is just amazing and hospitable. They count with an amazing and breathtaking view to Lago Argentina. The rooms are great, restaurant food is very tasty. Staff does a great job and the Hotel is within walking distance of everything you would need during your stay such as restaurants, coffee shops, pharmacies and souvenir shops.

Hotel confortável, atendimento muito cortês e simpático por parte de todos os funcionários. Quarto confortável, banheiro com chuveiro excelente; e meu quarto ainda tinha vista para o lago. O café da manhã é farto e de boa qualidade. Não fiz refeições mas bebi um vinho por bom preço. O ponto alto é a localização (dá para ir a pé para o centro, sem estar no mesmo). Preço elevado comparado a hotéis semelhantes.

We loved this hotel, located at the end of the town. You need to walk a bit to get to the restaurants and shopping, but it offers quietness in return. The beds were comfy, breakfast was fantastic, with really good pastries. Shower could use a renovation.

This hotel is located at the west end of town, surrounded by good restaurants and one block away from the fabulous pedestrian walkway along the water/wet lands ( great for birdwatching). Our room was on the first floor, very small, dark, poor ventilation, unfortunately. It was the only room avail when I booked online, also the cheapest. The young man ( evening shift til 11am) was fantastic! He was friendly (always big smiles), helpful and spoke good English. He was excellent at problem solving. Breakfast was good! Multiple tour groups stayed at the hotel while we were there but there was room for everyone in the breakfast area. Wish they had drinking water available in the lobby but no big deal. I really enjoyed the hotel and will stay here again but in an upgraded room. Do not recommend rooms on level 1 (lower level)

Un hotel muy acogedor en El Calafate. La propiedad es linda, con buenas instalaciones, solo algunos detalles decorativos necesitan actualizarse (ejemplo: la alfombra del hotel). El personal muy amable y generoso con su ayuda. La habitación (para 2) muy amplia y cómoda. El único inconveniente es que se oye todo a través de las paredes. El restaurante nos pareció rico para la cena. El desayuno no es gran cosa, pero fue tenía amplia variedad de cosas.

This hotel offers a great base to explore the Argentinian Patagonia and Parque Nacional Los Glaciares. It has a rustic feel to it but it is clean and the rooms are comfortable. As a base for adventurous tourists, they need better breakfast options. Most tours depart at 6 am and their restaurant opens at 6am. There is little to no flexibility in terms of preparing breakfast boxes or opening the restaurant earlier, so they need to work on this. We missed our breakfast on one occasion precisely because of this.
