We had a great time staying at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and had a garden view. It was on the ground floor and next to a trail so you don’t have a lot of privacy. The hotel had classic and modern decor, which was quite nice. Had food at both restaurants on the venue - there were decent but slightly overpriced. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet even though it was the same spread daily but the view from the restaurant was peaceful and serene. The hotel also provided a shuttle to Calafate town which was really great otherwise it’d be a 25 min walk to town. Overall we had a great time!

The hotel enforces a non-official exchange rate for USD, which is 2.27 times higher than the rate used elsewhere. We rented a car so can’t speak to other forms of transportation. The hotel was clean and in good repair. The staff at the restaurant very friendly. The hotel is not constructed of high quality materials but was put together well. Drinks were very expensive and on par with New York.. humm. Stayed in the one bedroom suite facing the lake. Breakfast was included and delicious. Would recommend and would stay again.

This is not a 5 star quality hotel. Not because it is not fancy enough or did not do turn down service, it really is not at all a luxurious accommodation and really outdated. A few things that really bothered me about the stay- 1) the bathroom smelled like old sewer. It was clean but the pipes I imagine are really old and the bathrooms had distinctive sewage odors from very old buildings 2) the walls are super thin so you can hear a conversation from the next room and every time the neighbors showered or flashed the toilet, you really could hear everything. 3) the shampoos and conditioners were hung on the wall but both pumps were broken. 4) shower stall moved when you stepped on which is happening because the hotel is really old. This hotel should really be 2-3 starred hotel, not 5.

I would like to start by saying that this is not a five star hotel as it has been advertised in Expedia. The hotel has several limitations for example all rooms are not insulated and you can hear what the people in the room next you are talking even with a normal voice level. We stayed for two nights with some friends and we stayed in three different rooms. All of my friends were in agreement with this statement. My next door neightboor was noisy all night and I could sleep, It is very unfortunate and very frustrated not be able to rest or sleep. The hotel management is informed about the lack of privacy and they have not done anything about it. The supervisor at the front desk said there have been several complains about this same issue in the past from other customers. This was a really uncomfortable situation, Please be aware of this when you are making a reservation.

Rooms are clean, modern, and large, but the bathroom was small and cramped. Wifi was poor when we were there, but it apparently was an issue with the provider so it might be better other times? Breakfast had a lot of options. Laundry is hilariously expensive. Location is beautiful.

El hotel esta bonito, se pago habitacion con vista al lago, pero no fue gan agradable, el agua tebia una especie de planta que no la dejaba apreciar bien. En cuanto a la atencion del personal nunca tuvimos ayuda para trasladar el equipaje, era un viaje lsrgo y contabanos con varias maletas grandes, mas las de cabina y objeto personal, aun asi nadie se ofrecio a llevarlas a la habitación. Esta retirado de la ciudad en si, tienes que transportarte en vehículo de preferencia. Fuera de eso, un hotel ameno.

The hotel is close to Lake Argentino with a nice view of the lake. The hotel has nice facilities, and the amenities are excellent. The breakfast was wonderful. Like most people we met in Argentina, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. It was worth every penny of the price.

The hotel is in a good and convinient location. We had a room with a view of the lake which was lovely. The food is mediocre but they charge prices as it would be a five star restaurant. I suggest you don’t eat there. There are increíble restaurants in town. In addition the service at the restaurant is poor.

Everything you need is there. Not a true 5 star for American standards and not on the water. Friendly staff. Did not enjoy the dinner at their famcy restaurant. Was pointed to go sit instead of walked to table and food was OK. Rexommend going in to town for dinner or eating at the bar.
