This is an excellent resort. The pool is amazing and winds around the property as well as a large lagoon with lots of deck chairs. There is direct access to the beach. The breakfast is fantastic. There are lots of restaurants nearby on the beach. The staff are helpful and freindly.

Amazing property with high quality food and drinks, the pool was amazing. The breakfast was small but had everything needed for an amazing high quality breakfast. The produce was fresh. The beach was clean and waters clear. Service was really good and the staff friendly and always smiling. The ambience of the resort was relaxing. Only downside was that there were no elevators and no ramps throughout the facility which made it tricky with prams which meant couldn’t access the middle gardens/ other pool/ kids club area.

Excellent service, ultra clean, beautiful hotel and grounds, lovely beach, fantastic pools, great food, warm and welcoming vibes, with phenomenal staff at both the Level and the kids club (Special mentions for dada, gigi & ribbon at the kids club & Kem, Sky, Dew, Maya and all the crew at the Level - outstanding)

Fantastic hotel. The service was out of this world. Our room which had direct pool access was wonderful, I loved the pool which went all round the complex. The LEVEL was a great perk, fantastic breakfast, lovely food and drink throughout the day. The extra activities were also a huge bonus. We can’t wait to return.

Fantastic hotel and service. We stayed in a room with direct access to the pool, it was out of this world. The figure of 8 pool was lovely to swim round with a bar pool, swing chairs and slides along the way. The VIP access that came with our room was a massive perk and made our stay, as did all the staff. We’ve never been treated so well at a hotel, thank you. Room was very comfortable and the extra activities were great, we tried yoga and kayaking. There was also paddle boarding and table tennis and much more. We’d love to come back. It looked like plenty of people go every year.

Melia Koh Samui is good. Property is clean and well managed. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The beaches near the property needs to be cleaned more. There aren’t a lot of trash cans available. Also the beach vendors are allowed to sell to you while you are trying to enjoy the beach.

Big pool, beach access, however resort feel like being in Marbella. Room floorboards were coming up, AC leaking (despite being told it was fixed), laundry came back dirty and staff acted like they were doing us a favour by removing the charge. Porters were very friendly and helpful.

Lazy River, Hauptwasserattraktion des Hotels, war tagelang stark verschmutzt, veralgt (?), schon vor unserer Ankunft. Vom Management gab es weder eine Erklärung dazu noch Kompensation für die ausfallende Möglichkeit zu schwimmen. Und das im Sommerurlaub. Laute Filteranlagen wurden irgendwann aufgestellt, zusammen mit hochgiftigen Chemikalien in geöffneten Säcken, die frei zugänglich herumstanden, obwohl viele Kinder auf der Anlage waren. Auch nach Tagen keine Besserung. Beim Check-out gab es nur ein lächelndes Schulterzucken dazu. Frühstück war jeden Tag gleich, Qualität ok, den Sternen nicht gerecht. Vermutlich mein letztes Mal im Melia.

This was highlight of my samui trip staying in this resort, so beautifull, clean and quiet. Breakfast was very big, lots of options and very tasty. Hotel is on the road that has restaurants, massage places and 7/11 near. Overall area is a bit calm and quiet, wich is nice. Hotel doesnt have lifts, only stairs between the floors, rooms are very nice and cleaning is very good.

The stay was alright, but I didn’t think anything special. The rooms were spacious and clean, but felt a little outdated and the floorboards were creaky. The staff were all very nice and accommodating, which was a huge plus. The facilities (pool, beach chairs, bars) were good but also felt outdated / could use renovation or replacement. A really nice hotel. We initially had a boathouse room but asked to be changed to a premium room. The boathouse had a lot more space but was on 2 floors which we did not like. The premium room was more of a typical set up which we preferred and thought was lovely. As for the hotel itself. The grounds are beautiful making it nice to walk around. We spent most of our days on the beach. A special mention to Baw who was more than happy to help throughout the day.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Melia Samui. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are gorgeous and the service was exceptional. We stayed in a Club Level Room and it was certainly worth the upgrade. The rooms were fantastic, great size and very comfortable beds and pillows. The rooms were on the ground floor so they had direct access to the wrap around pool that goes around the hotel. Great for an afternoon swim. We have to thank the staff at The Level as they really made our holiday special. They were all so lovely and welcoming, we didn't want to leave. Special shout outs go to Maya and her lovely team, Auong, Sky, Mamai, Dew, Keng, Queen, Seen and Lisa. They all looked after us at The Level. The breakfast at The Level was perfect, there was a lot of choice and was part ala carte. We tried the breakfast at the normal breakfast area which was also great but it felt more relaxing and special at The Level. The evening cocktails and canapes were also a bonus. We had great weather the whole time we were there so the sea was beautiful. The bay itself is beautiful although I thought it was a bit too crowded. Another special mention goes to Bauw who looked after us on the beach or around the pool. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is great. There are massage places and restaurants nearby. The check-in process was quick and efficient. The room was clean but sound proof was bad. We could hear people speaking and laughing loudly at night. For room supplies, there was no hand towels and no spare toilet paper. The bath towel is huge and is beach towel size which is convenient after shower. All the staff are courtesy and polite. Breakfast was okay but not the best. The swimming pool is nice and the resort is beachfront. In general, it is a nice stay.

The LEVEL was a great perk, fantastic breakfast, lovely food and drink throughout the day. The extra activities were also a huge bonus. We can’t wait to return.

We stayed in a boat suite right in front of the pool. The room was fantastic with an amazing view. I love the proximity of the pool to the beach. The resort is very quiet and peaceful. There is a kids area but I didn't notice it being too noisy. The breakfast buffet was good. The resort is located in a small village with several dining options, massage spas, convenience stores. It is 15 min taxi to Fishermans Village and 15 min taxi to Chaweng. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic hotel and service. We stayed in a room with direct access to the pool, it was out of this world. The figure of 8 pool was lovely to swim round with a bar pool, swing chairs and slides along the way. The VIP access that came with our room was a massive perk and made our stay, as did all the staff. We’ve never been treated so well at a hotel, thank you. Room was very comfortable and the extra activities were great, we tried yoga and kayaking. There was also paddle boarding and table tennis and much more. We’d love to come back. It looked like plenty of people go every year.

I want to take a moment to thank the staff first. From beginning to the end of our stay we had phenomenal conversations, service and support from the staff. They got to know my husband and I in a personal level and at one point knew us by name! They wouldn’t just check to see how our stay was going but check on us personally. I’m 1000% recommending friends and family to stay here. The people are amazing. The hotel itself was beautiful, room was cleaned quickly, breaking at Koko kitchen was always amazing. Fai and Paul were excellent. Fai help organize our wedding which was held on beach. The gazebo was incredibly decorated with flowers and lights. We had dinner on the beach under the stars in gazebo. It was so beautiful. Paul helped us coordinate transportation for a 7 hour island adventure exploring the island. Kord was super helpful and attentive to help us manage our bags during our stay. Many others were so helpful. We loved the resort and will be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Melia Samui. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are gorgeous and the service was exceptional. We stayed in a Club Level Room and it was certainly worth the upgrade. The rooms were fantastic, great size and very comfortable beds and pillows. The rooms were on the ground floor so they had direct access to the wrap around pool that goes around the hotel. Great for an afternoon swim. We have to thank the staff at The Level as they really made our holiday special. They were all so lovely and welcoming, we didn't want to leave. Special shout outs go to Maya and her lovely team, Auong, Sky, Mamai, Dew, Keng, Queen, Seen and Lisa. They all looked after us at The Level. The breakfast at The Level was perfect, there was a lot of choice and was part ala carte. We tried the breakfast at the normal breakfast area which was also great but it felt more relaxing and special at The Level. The evening cocktails and canapes were also a bonus. We had great weather the whole time we were there so the sea was beautiful. The bay itself is beautiful although I thought it was a bit too crowded. Another special mention goes to Bauw who looked after us on the beach or around the pool. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Unique hotel with nice facilites and pool. Boat suite had an amazing bathroom but not the most practical room. Unfortunately was let down by the service. Had an issue with our booking which front desk were unhelpful with and couldn't resolve. Lots of other 5 stars on the island that are just as nice and with much better service.

Excellent service, ultra clean, beautiful hotel and grounds, lovely beach, fantastic pools, great food, warm and welcoming vibes, with phenomenal staff at both the Level and the kids club (Special mentions for dada, gigi & ribbon at the kids club & Kem, Sky, Dew, Maya and all the crew at the Level - outstanding)

Melia Koh Samui is good. Property is clean and well managed. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The beaches near the property needs to be cleaned more. There aren’t a lot of trash cans available. Also the beach vendors are allowed to sell to you while you are trying to enjoy the beach.

L\'hôtel est magnifique, la piscine et ses canaux sont super agréables, le petit-déj très copieux, varié, et de grande qualité. L\'emplacement est fabuleux, dans une petite baie avec jolie plage de sable blanc, quasi privée car peu fréquentée. L\'emplacement est top, à 6 mn en scoot de Chaweng et de Fisherman\'s village. Notre chambre premium était très bien, mais la prochaine fois on essaiera une Boat Suite, 100m² dans une réplique de bateau en bois sur 3 étages! Le personnel hyper aimable, et l\'intégration de l\'hôtel près de la plage est parfaite, l\'immense cour intérieure est comme un parc naturel avec une nature luxuriante. La déco est classe et chic sans tape à l\'oeil. Animations sympas (dîner Thaï, soirée barbecue, pool party). Le bar/resto de la plage est très bon, quoique un peu cher. L\'upgrade vers "The Level" est intéressant car on accède au ptit déj en rooftop au dessus de la plage, plus collations toute la journée et cocktails canapés le soir. Très sympa. Excursions à Pig Island et Ang Tong national Park très bien, mais un peu chères. Location de scooter bien, prix corrects (12,50€/j). Bref on a passé 10 jours de rêve, pas de critiques sauf quelques détails mineurs, on recommande chaudement. On reviendra pour les Boat Suites

Absolutely amazing oasis!! The most beautiful gardens, incredibly well kept 🌱 and there are really a great range of plants and colourful flowers, and the most creative pool set up I’ve ever seen, you can easily get enjoyably lost in this paradise 😍 the staff were also extremely friendly and always providing top service. Nick the manager also checked in with us on our stay as we checked out which was lovely as well :) The location is great too. My partner and I rented a scooter and rode around the entire island the first day (took about 1.5 hours) and I’d say Melia is situated close enough to the central areas and the airport (approx 15mins), central Samui (approx 10-15min), and fisherman’s village (approx 15-20mins), but without the noise. So we regularly went out to enjoy markets and shopping close by, while being able to come back to a peaceful oasis to relax and chill. Overall, my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, thank you!!

This is an excellent resort. The pool is amazing and winds around the property as well as a large lagoon with lots of deck chairs. There is direct access to the beach. The breakfast is fantastic. There are lots of restaurants nearby on the beach. The staff are helpful and freindly.

Amazing property with high quality food and drinks, the pool was amazing. The breakfast was small but had everything needed for an amazing high quality breakfast. The produce was fresh. The beach was clean and waters clear. Service was really good and the staff friendly and always smiling. The ambience of the resort was relaxing. Only downside was that there were no elevators and no ramps throughout the facility which made it tricky with prams which meant couldn’t access the middle gardens/ other pool/ kids club area.

Lazy River, Hauptwasserattraktion des Hotels, war tagelang stark verschmutzt, veralgt (?), schon vor unserer Ankunft. Vom Management gab es weder eine Erklärung dazu noch Kompensation für die ausfallende Möglichkeit zu schwimmen. Und das im Sommerurlaub. Laute Filteranlagen wurden irgendwann aufgestellt, zusammen mit hochgiftigen Chemikalien in geöffneten Säcken, die frei zugänglich herumstanden, obwohl viele Kinder auf der Anlage waren. Auch nach Tagen keine Besserung. Beim Check-out gab es nur ein lächelndes Schulterzucken dazu. Frühstück war jeden Tag gleich, Qualität ok, den Sternen nicht gerecht. Vermutlich mein letztes Mal im Melia.

We had a great stay at the Melia and would certainly recommend it to other travelers. Fantastic breakfast spread, good size rooms (loved the ceiling fan on the terrace) and friendly staff. Lots of restaurants along the beach for meals and drinks. Speaking of which...the one negative for me were the cocktails at the hotel, for some reason they all tasted strongly of lemon and the daiquiris were not made with real fruit. Avoid and go to any of the local beach bars instead. Top tip - The adults only area upstairs to the left of the beachside pool was never busy and provided a nice quiet view of the beach and pool.

I loved everything about this hotel. It’s a beautiful beachfront property but also has a stunning pool with swim up rooms or little channels you can swim in.
