Brand new hotel very well located, very clean. Staff have lack of experience, my réservation for the restaurant was made on the wrong day. Their was a spa and a pool, but you had to reserve your spot for a maximum of 30 minutes... The spa was at 98 degree and should have been at 104, could not get it up. Breakfast room was awesome, but the setup was not, toaster not working all the time, coffee was cold on our second day

Expedia says they have a pool....they dont have a pool! They have this large size jacuzzi that you have to book 30mins time slots. Went with 3 kids hoping for a pool and was disappointed, when asked about why no pool, im pointed in the direction of the beach. Thats great if this resort was located in Mexico but its in PEI with maybe 2 good months of beach weather. Gym is also horrible, small room with too many large machines. Clearly someone who does not go to the gym designed the gym. Staff were nice amd the place is very clean and new looking.

Beautiful property with access to a private beach. The rooms are spacious, clean and luxurious. The downside of this place is the service and amenities. You have to text message staff for support and most often they don't reply. For example, our room was very cold and they neither responded to our request for help with the thermostat, nor knew what to do about it when we located them (physically had to go find them). The amenities were lacking with a hot tub you need to book and can only use for about 20-30mins with no guaranteed availability. Finally, breakfast is a selection of bagels and baked goods from costco - for a luxury resort, I'd expect way better. I wouldn't stay here again just because of value and service for the price ($600/night!!)

We stayed at Blackbush while riding our bicycles across PEI for 5 days. This hotel was such a welcome respite for our tired legs. It was top notch-so comfortable and welcoming. The beach was incredible and was just a short walk from the hotel. I was so grateful to the staff for making a reservation for us at Fin Folk. The dinner was delicious and we didn’t have to wait at all, despite there being crowds of people outside. We loved the hot tub and heated spa pool and best of all, there was a washer and dryer where we washed all our dirty biking clothes, so we left the next day feeling (and smelling) refreshed and clean! I would definitely recommend a few days at Blackbush!

The outdoor Oasis (hot tub, sauna & spa pool) is by reservation only, which we were not informed about upon arrival. When we arrived we were told it was all booked up which was upsetting since it was the main reason we chose to stay at this resort. Luckily we were able to enjoy the outdoor amenities since someone cancelled their reservation and we were given the open time slot. Just take note of this - and if you plan on staying at this resort book the outdoor Oasis ahead of time! The beach is beautiful - I highly recommend renting the bicycles they offer and biking on the beach trail.

By far the nicest rooms (at least on the East side) and we stayed at The Inn at Bay Fortune as well. Brand new, well designed, awesome beds. While clearly five stars I would say they are still finding their way with certain small details and things still being installed etc. Surprised the rooftop is not a restaurant outside of breakfast but maybe there are plans. Fin Folk across the road covers that anyway. Great little gym, yoga studio and the only place we stayed that had a washer and dryer! Overall excellent.

Beautiful facility with amazing amenities. Thoughtful touches with fridge stocked with cold water, robes and beach towels. Gorgeous sunrise view from the wall to wall windows in our room. Impressive common areas including outdoor lounge chairs, hot tubs, and fire pit area. Friendly welcoming staff. Hopefully we will get a chance to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay! The room was beautifully designed, clean, and cozy — even better than expected. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was relaxing and peaceful. Highly recommend and would love to come back!

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Rooms were really clean and looked brand new. Amenities were great—hottub, pool and sauna with a beautiful view. My boyfriend and I loved it so much we extended our stay. It was very cozy, and a perfect combo of luxury and nature. Would highly recommend!!

Chambre propre et confortable, en revanche les extérieurs manque d’entretien, notamment les fenêtres. Attention, nous avons réservé un sunset suite, la baignoire se trouve dans la salle de bain sans fenêtre, les photos correspondent à la sunset suite. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas à la hauteur d’un hôtel de ce standing ( pas de chaud, ni de salé) L’espace aquatique extérieur fonctionnait mal ( pas de nage contre courant, ni bulles) L’emplacement de l’hôtel est bien, super cadre et bon resto décontracté à côté. Personnel agréable et souriant mais manque de formation pour certains.

Really nice property and such a nice and beautiful beach nearby. Room so clean and everything impressive Rooms are modern and functional Staff are super friendly Property is beautiful Great for relaxation Free EV charging station unlike some other properties that charge you double The only downside was continental breakfast, we would have rather to pay and have a good breakfast and enjoy the beautiful view

The room was magnificent! Oversized, comfortable, stylish! Enjoyed use of the outdoor hot tub and game room. Breakfast options were nice. Beach was within walking distance and beautiful. We had room 102 with balcony. Unfortunately the views are good but a restaurant hinders view and the air conditioning system is next to balcony. Some noise from that but bad visual. Ask for room on 2nd or 3rd floor. No meats available at breakfast. Hot tub was stuck at 98 degrees. Regardless, loved the vibe, staff was great, area was peaceful. Great restaurant across the street.

This is going to be a mixed review. PROS: The hotel is situated close to one of the most beautiful spots in PEI. The hotel is an attractive and well designed modern building. The SUITES (there are two on each floor) have stunning views of the sea. CONS: The building is poorly situted on the site. The regular rooms on one side have decent oblique views of the sea. The rooms on the other side, which are the same price, have a poor view overlooking the parking lot and a large open space which is planned for the construction of a dozen private homes. We had booked for 6 nights and were given a room on the "bad" side of the hotel. In order to make our long stay enjoyable, we paid to upgrade to one of the suites. One comes to this rather pricey hotel for the views. Insist on getting a regular room on the "good" side or splurge on a suite.

Amazing place , staff and next level experience !!! True getaway !!!… can’t say enough about Blackbush !!! Our second time there And can’t wait to get back !! Only critique .. the TV .. strich a Roku steaming service , with virtually no network options … I know it’s a getaway and tv should not be yo ur focus , but as the room has a 65” high def tv , it would be nice to have better tv service ..,just saying . Besides this , blackbush is an exceptional property and not too be missed !!! Love it Darren and Suzanne Halifax , Nova Scotia

Fully equipped villa - if we had stayed longer we would have definitely made use of the kitchen supplies. We used the washer and dryer which was very convenient. Suggestions: - the shower pressure could have been stronger - was hard to get even temperature throughout villa (very cold in hallway, hotter in bedrooms at night; had to leave door open while sleeping as a result) - beds are unnecessarily/unreasonably too high off the ground - pillows are large and firm, no variety Other than that, it was great and I would definitely stay again. Probably just some kinks to work out as you guys are a fairly new property.

The hotel is not conveniently located to the city but we booked it for the beach. I believe it was newly built or renovated. The room has ample space and appears clean and fresh.The bed was comfortable and we loved the walk in shower but would be nice if there is a tub as well. Access to sauna, hot tub and outdoor pool is available but you need to sign up to use it. I would have given 5 stars if not for the loud noise of the hvac outside our room (1st floor) especially at night and the so so breakfast option. No hot breakfast meal and the baked goods are not freshly baked more like store brought. I would still consider staying again because of the beach on summer time.

Definitely not what we paid for at all. So again misleading. We were staying for my birthday, so we decided to splurge, and did not get a suite with a living room as we thought. Also, we were on the first floor and could hear absolutely everything above us. So definitely ask for a room on the top floor if you like peace and quiet.

Beautiful new property with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The common areas were lovely and welcoming. The only downside to this place was how much noise from the hallway and the opening and closing of the fire door at the end of the hall came through to the room. You have to text message staff for support and most often they don't reply. Location and view, are amazing. I booked this hotel expecting a premium experience given the high price. Unfortunately, the front desk service was extremely disappointing. As stunning as the property and it's beachside location is, the employees are the real stars. Exceptional service! Genuinely friendly, knowledgable, helpful, and considerate. The restaurant has delicious food and is only a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The beach is beautiful and in season there is even a dairy bat. Cannot recommend this property highly enough!!

From the moment we open the door to our room, we knew we had to book another night. The location and scenery were awesome. The front desk staff was welcoming, informative and professional. The room and views were stunning, luxurious, comfortable and we appreciated the extra touches - robes, slippers, real glassware, mugs, and more. Everyone we met (staff and construction workers on site) were friendly and accommodating. Special shout out to Sharon in the breakfast room. She made us feel as if we were being welcomed into her home and she was a great ambassador for the resort and PEI. Would definitely stay again!

Customer service? We paid over $700 for two rooms. The customer service- condescending. Don’t arrive at night- there is very poor lighting to get to the front of the hotel. My 76 year old mom fell going up the stairs. We checked in late- asking for a late check out 12:00 instead of 11:00- the front desk attendant wasn’t knowledge (of really anything about the resort) and said you need to ask in the morning Right in the morning I ask for a the late check out ( the “welcome” letter is very friendly and makes a guest feel welcomed, appreciated and a late check out it isn’t an issue) as my mom needs more sleep as the time change is effecting her. The declined her room but I could get a late check out in one room. Both rooms the exact same… same view, layout etc The front desk attendant said “if she does not leave she will be charged for another night, as a guest wants that specific room.” We are talking an hour later check out so my mom can get some. More sleep for the $700 we paid to stay for 12 hours! Why were we not told that specifically room 307 could not have a late check out when we checked in (10 hours before) The hotel isn’t close to being full for the next night. I emailed management, nobody got back to me.

My wife and I had a great weekend at Blackbush. It's a smaller upscale resort on an amazing beach. The adjacent casual dining restaurant had fantastic food in a laid back, beachfront vibe. Our room was very spacious, had an ocean view balcony, and was very clean. We will definitely be back!

The hotel is not conveniently located to the city but we booked it for the beach. I believe it was newly built or renovated. The room has ample space and appears clean and fresh.The bed was comfortable and we loved the walk in shower but would be nice if there is a tub as well. The resort was absolutely beautiful. The surroundings are still in developmental stage but otherwise quiet. A short walk to a seemingly endless beach and restaurant. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. We will visit again for sure. Highly recommended.

If what you care about is proximity to beaches, a modestly modern, clean hotel, and very friendly staff, this may work for you if you don't mind paying the high luxury rates... You need to know that the marketing around this hotel does not match what you would normally expect from a luxury hotel, and that may be fine for some people. The hotel lacks some basic luxury amenities, like a real pool as advertised (It's just a small backyard exercise pool and hot tub outside, next to the hotel, that can only accommodate a few guests at a time.); It also lacks a fine dinning option... There is only a very good casual/picnic table style restaurant near by that serves mostly deep-fried seafood, expensive Lobster rolls, fish & chips, etc. For breakfast, the hotel serves dry continental style food with no real hot food options. The hotel gym is in a small dark room on the ground floor with equipment that is clearly too big for the space. For whatever reason, missed opportunity or otherwise, the orientation of the hotel only facilitates a full beach/water view for only a few rooms with balconies on the north side of the hotel (These are more expensive then the deluxe rooms you are led to believe have a beach view). Overall, this is a small, modest hotel in a great location with few missed opportunities to make it what it could be. We found the price high for what we got, but we made the best of it and found the facility reasonably comfortable and the staff exceptionally friendly.

We loved the Blackbush Beach Resort! From being greeted by Lamar as soon as we pulled up to our wonderful dinner at Fluke to coffee on our private balcony we can't say enough good things about our stay! Book the sunrise suite for a beautiful view of the beach and cove! Take advantage of the tasting menu at Fluke, the gorgeous hot tubs, walk on the beach which is a pristine national park and enjoy light bites at Fin Folk just across the way! There is even an ice cream shop, wellness center, games/activities area and a delightful continental breakfast! What a special stay made even better by very lovely staff!
