Lovely apartment in Queenstown. Everything you need in the apartment including heated towel rail! Be aware you have to carry your luggage up steps or a ramp from the underground carpark. No lifts. Great views. There was even a gas heater that looked like a real fire! Novelty for us people who come from cairns.

Pros: Modern aesthetics, large windows, interesting layout. Full kitchen, two dishwashers, shared laundry between 2 units in common hall area (also a con as it could easily be in-use if someone is also occupying next door). Location (close to airport). Assigned covered parking (but you have to pay for it). Cons: Steps. Steps from parking to apartment area, steps up/down to apartment units, and more steps within the small apartment. Outside steps can get very icy during winter, even during the day. Reception might not be near your apartment, depending on which block you get assigned to. Cleanliness was subpar. You get good views, but apartments are right next to the road, so you hear the constant road traffic. Cost of parking is not included and there are no alternatives.

Great location with epic views. Loved having a fireplace in the suite and great having full kitchen facility. Onsite parking, sad that there is no lift, a bit of a struggle getting luggage up to second floor although help was offered. A thoroughly enjoyable stay, would highly recommend.

Location was great, with a magnificent view to the Remarkables. The room was clean and serviced daily - which included replenishing single serve items (tea bags, dishwashing powder etc). It would have been good to have had some salt and pepper grinders as well, to supplement the ability to self-cater. It's a do-able walk to Queenstown with average fitness. It's uphill on return. Undercover parking garage is great. There are 30 steps to get your luggage to upstairs units. Maintenance responses were immediate - which was great. It's expensive, but worthwhile for a special occasion.

Stayed for 2 nights. Very accommodating with holding bags early as we explored town. Hot tub was a nice bonus. Clean room. Quiet. A 15 min walk to downtown. Only issue for us was coffee maker did not work so went without.

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon. After reading reviews about the room we originally booked, we contacted the hotel directly via e-mail to ensure that they knew that the trip was for an important occasion for us and everything could be perfectly kept. They offered a room upgrade and we accepted. Our stay was overall satisfactory, they gave us brownies to welcome us which was nice. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view, however there are things that were a bit disappointing for us. The “continental breakfast” that is included was a jar of cereals, some bread left in the fridge, an orange juice, a yogurt and some mini spreads and some amenities such as tea and coffee sachets. That is really not something that someone expects when they booked an accomodation that says “breakfast included”. Also, they advertise the place with a “nearby” gym facility. The gym is a 20min walk to town and you have to pay a $23 dollar fee PER DAY. We were gutted when we heard that as we did not find this information anywhere prior to booking the hotel. The staff was super friendly, I think this is mostly a management and marketing issue than anything else.

the beds were tiny!! no adult would be confortable. and the AC didnt come into the bedroom and they had no fans. also our parking space was occupied by housekeeping. and it was not clear thay gym access would come with a fee.

Mould and dirty bathroom especially in the bathtub. Only one coffee pod - housekeeping staff advise us - they ran out. When countdown is up the road. Both sinks - bathroom and kitchen blocked. Don’t recommend if you have heavy or a lot of luggage- a lot of steps to climb.

Lovely room but it’s annoying that the fan in the bathroom was connected to the light so always had to be on. I found the condition of the mattress and pillow protectors to be unsatisfactory. Great they had them but more regular replacement is needed - slack housekeeping!

Both my partner and I were mauled by bed bug bites. Design of place felt a little confined. Good view of the water for 2nd level room. Spa and fresh towels good. Reception staff super friendly. Not sure if I’d return, but if I did I would keep clothes in bags, bags closed, requests bed not to be made and get as much sunlight onto bed as possible.

Was apparently sound proof but could hear next door having conversations and upstairs whenever they used water. Next doors aircon (I assume) rattled our wall and hummed louder than ours. The doona STUNK and was stained. We didn’t have complimentary milk for the first few days so I forgot that we were even entitled to it until it popped up a few days later. The fan in the bathroom is SO LOUD and screechy and cannot be turned off unless the light is also off. Someone spilled coffee and laundry powder in the entrance hall the second day we got there and it stayed the whole time we were there. If you showered during the morning, there was no water pressure. The shower would randomly turn BURNING hot for a second periodically for no reason. The aircon would randomly turn off and refuse to turn back on. The tv wouldn’t connect to chromecast most of the time. Never again. The host when we checked in, was the only positive thing, she was great. Wish I’d gotten her name.

We booked a lake-view studio but unfortunately ended up with a hedge view instead; at least until our last morning, when the hedge was removed at around 8:30am! The room itself was spacious but quite dated, with décor that hasn’t been refreshed in some time. The price seems to reflect the room size rather than the overall experience. It was also a bit surprising to find that, although each room has an allocated parking space, there’s an additional fee to use it. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly, everything was clean, and the location is excellent.

Negatives: bathroom fan really, really noisy and could not be turned off when using bathroom. Blinds across road frontage are completely see through from outside when lights are on. The space is very nice and the view is great, but be advised it overlooks a very busy road so it’s not really restful. Also, the walls are thin and I could hear the people next to me talking at 2am. Great otherwise though!

Beautiful view over the lake and 20min walk into town which was quite convenient. Full size kitchen also useful. Condition of the room is a bit dated and could be cleaner. Wifi did not work for most of the time we were there or the Chromecast, largely due to maintenance works at the time but they also didn't work after maintenance had finished.

The view from the suite is gorgeous! The big window panes are spotless and we enjoyed sitting in the spacious living room looking out to the lake and mountains. A short walk into town and Queenstown Gardens. I would definitely stay here again in future trips.

Stay was fine, but had to battle to get my deposit returned. Even though I paid in full up front a considerable amount for a room for five nights, they still asked for a security deposit (fine) to cover damage or theft. This was not released for over a week after check out, so had to contact my bank and ask them to chase it (otherwise the hotel could keep the money). Not very good from a customer perspective.

Initially we were given a deluxe room but we were expecting a suite. The website obviously was not clear in that the photo showed a suite so it was misleading. Fortunately, the manager took care of this immediately. He was very kind and understanding and we had to upgrade by paying an additional fee but it was worth it

Fantastic stay! I had some noisy neighbours on my first night. After that, the staff offered to relocate me to another room. I accepted the offer and was also lucky enough to then be upgraded. Highly recommend this place

These apartment-like suites were spacious and in a convenient location to both downtown Queenstown and Frankton. The large windows provided great views of the mountains and lake but was also somewhat noisy due to vehicles passing by on the nearby roadway.

Location was great, with a magnificent view to the Remarkables. The room was clean and serviced daily - which included replenishing single serve items (tea bags, dishwashing powder etc). It would have been good to have had some salt and pepper grinders as well, to supplement the ability to self-cater. It's a do-able walk to Queenstown with average fitness. It's uphill on return. Undercover parking garage is great. There are 30 steps to get your luggage to upstairs units. Maintenance responses were immediate - which was great. It's expensive, but worthwhile for a special occasion.

Excellent location, not too far out from Queenstown centre. Spacious rooms with plenty of supplies and equipment. This is not a hotel, so there is no dining room. Instead, for breakfast (if part of your package), you have breakfast delivered to your room and top ups available on demand. Nespresso coffee machine - and a stunning view. You are by the main road, but it’s not obtrusive - indeed handy for buses if you don’t have a car.

The property is beautiful and the room was very clean. I suggest confirming cause we rented 4 rooms and none faced the lake, I think the lake view are owner's. Parking was good and breakfast was continental delivered to your refrigerator the night before. It was good but be clear it is self-made.

Great place to stay with amazing views. The centre of town was about 5 minutes drive away but not really walkable in winter. Just a couple of irritations - the only light in the bathroom was connected to the fan - very loud in the middle of the night! We also contacted the office who didn't answer twice and did not return our message. Good breakfast and kitchen had everything needed to cook your own meals.

Incredible hotel in an amazing location. Lovely staff, who were always happy to help. A lightbulb went out in our bathroom and reception and the maintenance guy had it fixed/replaced within 5 minutes. The in room breakfast for the duration of our stay was fantastic. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon. After reading reviews about the room we originally booked, we contacted the hotel directly via e-mail to ensure that they knew that the trip was for an important occasion for us and everything could be perfectly kept. They offered a room upgrade and we accepted. Our stay was overall satisfactory, they gave us brownies to welcome us which was nice. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view, however there are things that were a bit disappointing for us. The “continental breakfast” that is included was a jar of cereals, some bread left in the fridge, an orange juice, a yogurt and some mini spreads and some amenities such as tea and coffee sachets. That is really not something that someone expects when they booked an accomodation that says “breakfast included”. Also, they advertise the place with a “nearby” gym facility. The gym is a 20min walk to town and you have to pay a $23 dollar fee PER DAY. We were gutted when we heard that as we did not find this information anywhere prior to booking the hotel. The staff was super friendly, I think this is mostly a management and marketing issue than anything else.

It would be a very quick couple minutes to drive or take an Uber; however, the main road in and out of often had traffic so we preferred walking instead. You get a lovely breakfast basket delivered to your room in the late afternoon for the next day which includes a variety of breakfast foods/drinks. We only stayed at this hotel two nights, one night each bookending a trip that we took up to Lake Tekapo. Even though we were only staying for one night, Ruth made our stay wonderful and was very accommodating. We recommend booking the outside private Jacuzzi and the suites that overlook the lake.

Our stay was reasonable, but unfortunately it didn’t meet our expectations for the price of $309 per night. On arrival, there was no TV remote in the room, so we had to call reception to have one brought up. The king bed was actually two single beds pushed together, and the ridge down the middle made it quite uncomfortable to sleep on. The pillows were very flat, and the bedding was light, with no extra blanket provided, making the room feel cold overnight. We were also unable to open the Venetian blinds because the control rod had come loose and was positioned too high to reach or reattach. While the staff were helpful when contacted, the overall condition and comfort of the room were disappointing given the nightly rate. A few maintenance issues and better quality bedding would make a significant difference.
