The location of the hotel was wonderful. Close to the marina and Main Street. The hotel staff were very friendly and kind, making our stay very comfortable. The room was very clean and cozy! After a long day, it was nice to have an air conditioned room to return too! The top deck was a nice added touch, to relax in the sun and have a dip in the pool! Every morning breakfast was served up there, to enjoy the view. Thanks for a great visit to the Cabo area!

Las instalaciones son nuevas, me encantó,muy limpio, tiene un estacionamiento pequeño justo 6 cajones pero frente puedes estacionarte en la calle sin problema, el desayuno está bien tienen desde huevos, chilaquiles, waffles, yogurt con fruta, cereal café y agua fresca, tiene las amenidades necesarias dentro del cuarto; cabe destacar que tiene muy buena ubicación tiene restaurantes frente y un Oxxo a escasos pasos y puedes ir caminando a la marina aprox 20 min, su personal muy amable sin duda volvería

The Colmena Marina is a new building just a short walk from Cabo's marina area, the city's main tourist spot. It's far enough away not to be noisy, and there are a number of places to eat nearby. The complimentary rooftop breakfast is a nice amenity. The main entrance is not staffed overnight so if you come in after hours there is a code for the front door.

Llegamos casi a las 4pm y el chico de recepción bajó después de que toque el timbre varias veces. Solo me entregó la llave y me dijo que mi habitación estaba en el segundo piso… al abrir la puerta la habitación estaba sucia!!! Bajo y le comento, sube a revisar y me dice: “tiene razón” como si por algún motivo yo le mentiría. Me comentó que tenía una habitación en el primer piso pero le comenté que prefería una más alta, para evitar el ruido de la calle. Como me dijo que no tenía disponibles, le dije que iríamos a comer algo en lo que limpiaban la que me había asignado al único. Al regresar ya después de las 5 de la tarde nos da la nueva habitación, le comento que mi reserva incluía una botella de vino en cortesía por ser cliente VIP; solo me contestó que lo checaria con la encargada pero la botella nunca nos la entregaron. La puesta del baño es la misma que la de la regadera por lo que no hay privacidad si es que vas con amigos. La TV no se conectaba a internet, lo reporte por su whatsapp que tienen de contacto y contesta en automático, nunca recibí una solución por ese medio. Al bajar a recepción le comenté al chico y cuando regresamos a la habitación ya nos pudimos conectar. Las camas están cómodas pero en la habitación se filtra la luz por los lados de la blackout de la ventana y por la puerta. También el ruido del exterior se escucha mucho al interior. La terraza y alberca están lindas, no está climatizada. El desayuno básico pero cumple con variedad y calidad.

The property is in a good location close to the marina and downtown. The property will be nice qhen the construction ia done. The staff was good. The elevator wasnt operational yet. There was drywall and other dust everywhere on the property. The swimming pool looked bigger in the pictures. I was woken up almost every morning to construction noise. There was a couple of days they didnt have bottled water in my room. But like i said it will be a nice place when it is finished. The bed was comfortable as well as the pillows.

It was really false advertising, that I got an email only a day before my trip which was Christmas Eve telling me that some areas were still under construction. I thought well the photos of the place looked nice brand new hotel and super clean modern. They told me not to worry that they would make our stay as comfortable as possible. Only to arrive and see the building was still not completed, dirty and dirt around. It I was it was not ready to be rented. I felt so cheated ruined my vacation and Christmas. They refunded but now I was stuck now trying to find accommodation on Christmas Eve everything was so expensive. Expedia even wanted to charge me a cancellation fee on top of it! How can Expedia not know this prior and check before allowing hotels to do this? Not sure if this happened to others. Definitely be ware if you are considering booking here.

Property was clean and well kept. I did not feel like it was in the safest area. Staff was very nice, room was clean. Breakfast served was delicioso.

The hotel is still under construction. It will be amazing when it is finished. Even with the active construction the staff keeps it clean and presentable.

It was a great location in a new hotel. We stayed for a week. We had a nice big window with view of city. Service was pretty good but often we had to request it such as taking garbage out, leaving more supplies. Staff were accommodating but I think maybe a bit too busy. I found the bed to be comfortable but the pillows were very high and hard. There was no light over the vanity so a bit hard to see. The rooftop patio was very nice with a view and pool. The breakfast could be improved by serving a variety from day to day versus always the same. Having fresh fruit instead of frozen would be welcome, butter for toast and a better warming system for the eggs etc as they weren’t hot. The cutlery and plates sometimes didn’t look very clean. Despite these things than can be improved the price was excellent for a stay near the centre. I think the email welcome messages and goodbyes were very nice as were the staff.

Excelente Hotel, desayuno incluído, ubicación muy buena e instalaciones nuevas. Lo único negativo sería que vimos dos cucarachas en el baño y que el cancel del baño está súper mal diseñado, cuando te bañas se moja todo el piso del área del escusado y el pasillo hacia la puerta

The location is very convenient, staff is attentive, the free breakfast it's a joke, just coffee and some strange cookies, parking is only two spaces, you have to park in the street. Hot water works works on/off, very low flow in the shower, weird bathroom, but be careful with room 101 and 102, very noisy all night!

Nice budget friendly comfortable stay it's a bit far from Cabo bars but overall it was enough for what we needed

My review is based on my stay on Jan 2 2025. My experience would have been a lot better if the hotel wasn’t under construction. In addition to the loud construction noise in the early morning, WiFi & coffee machine doesn’t work, bed is very hard & uncomfortable, no hangers for clothes, I stood in the shower for about 15-20 minutes waiting for the hot water, construction dust floating everywhere - just all bad. Also, I was notified by the hotel one week before my stay that the hotel was undergoing construction which is very unfair because that did not give me enough time to find another hotel so I agreed to stay & ended up checking out the next morning due to my unpleasant experiences. Management knew this property was under construction from the time I booked (early December) but decided to notify me one week before my stay - very unethical. I do not recommend while the property is undergoing construction. Aside from all that, the man that checked me in is very nice & the room is also very nice & modern.

The hotel is still in the works but it met our needs. The only thing that was missing was a fridge in the room, other than that, everything is in walking distance. Restaurants at every corner, OXXO (Mexican 7-11) is two blocks down. The marina is a 7 minute walk. This hotel is located near the center of all attractions. Cheap, nice and convenient . WiFi, prime and Netflix on the TV and very spacious room.

Las imagenes en internet ABDOLUTAMENTE NO TIENEN NADA QUE VER CON LA REALIDAD El servicio en el hotel de mala calidad No cuenta con estacionamientos como hacen mension La habitacion es super pequeña La primer noche nos tuvieron que cambiar de habitacion por que literal se filtro el agua de la alberca mojando mis pertenencias, me cambiaron en la madrugada de habitacion, un desastre. Solicito la devolucion de mi dinero. Es un fraude su publicacion. Gracias

Buen lugar relación precio, muy buena atención por parte del staff, además que en la parte hay un desayuno bueno para el precio de la habitación, a dos cuadras de la Marina

The place is awesome. The hotel staff and Manager were so polite and friendly. This will be an awesome stay for solo travellers and families alike

El servicio fue muy bueno, siempre estuvieron atentos y fueron amables con nosotros, el desayuno que incluye está bien y las habitaciones son muy cómodas

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, te puedes ir caminando a la marina sin preocuparte por que te pase algo ya que es una zona muy tranquila. La habitación, entrada, desayuno todo bien. Lo recomiendo.
