We stayed in one of the oceanfront cabins and enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the surf outside. The cabin was warm on cold nights and had a comfortable little sitting room and separate bedroom. The cabin was definitely old but had newer flooring and everything we needed. The building was a little wonky and the bedroom door didn’t quite close but that’s the trade off for staying in one of the older cabins. Enjoyed visiting during the shoulder season - probably wouldn’t be in our budget to visit during peak season. Restaurant options were very pricey but the food was incredible. Spa services were well priced but the spa building was small and dated.

We fell in love with White Point! Travelling as a family with a range of ages and interests, and it truly had something for everyone. From the bunnies to the live music and impressive food, to the landscape and kids activities, we only left the resort once the whole week (to check out Carters beach) because we were so content to just stay put. Only things to note for first timers would be that the sea is ice cold, and the indoor and outdoor pools are pretty fresh as well (and busy with kids, even in the hot tub despite signs saying to keep kids <12 out) so there isn't really a relaxing spot for adults to swim. Kids absolutely loved the pools though. One suggestion for management: It would be great if you could open the playroom earlier - our little kids were up at 6/7am and the room didn't open til 9. On a cold morning with toddlers that's a long wait!

We stayed in the large Glome room and it was well worth the extra cost. Clean, unique, well thought out in terms of how it connects to nature, and an amazing hot tub. The lodge is excellent and we walked away impressed and relaxed. Highly recommended!

This property is so beautifully located close to the beach. We were here for a wedding and it provided the most beautiful backdrop. We had the lake view cabins which had a great view too. They had a retro feel in terms of decor. The cabins are quaint and very clean. I would say the only downside is that the walls were pretty thin and we could hear the people next door at all hours. But the staff was super friendly.

Beautiful property we stayed in a one bedroom cabin, should have been queen or king bed but was one double and a single, old (resort there since 1926) and a little dusty, bathroom, sheets, towels etc super clean, lounge, entertainment, drinks and food were great! Really enjoyed our stay!

The place is nice. Reminds me of the movie Dirty Dancing. However, I thought I booked a room but instead it was a cabin. The floor is crooked and the bedding had dryer body fluid on it. We called for room service to come change the bedding, instead a man came to our door and gave us clean sheets and then informed us that we had to change ourselves except he didn’t give us the fitted sheet which was the dirty. We paid a price of a 4+star hotel for a -1 star. The following day we went to the office to complain and supposedly there was no manager on site.We were told that they were in a meeting. REALLY!!!!

Our cabin was very clean but it needs updating. The beds also need new matress, the hide a bed is very uncomfortable. There was no AC and its really needed. Food was amazing in the restaurant and bar and we requested the same waitress Heidi she was wonderful. The property is beautiful and lots to do. Check in was very seamless and Kim at the front desk could not have been any nicer.

We stayed in one of the new “treehouses” overlooking the ocean. It was just lovely! We ate at Elliot’s Dining Room for dinner and breakfast and the food was delicious! The property is absolutely beautiful, bunnies included ! My only regret about staying here is that it was for just one night. Next time we’ll stay a few days!

Small, quaint and comfortable. Zero sound proofing to the cottage beside you. So if you have neighbours on either side of you then you hear noise both sides. Therefore, limited privacy. Nice and clean and bright. No ocean view but could hear the ocean from our cabin.

First time visitors, we were not disappointed! Had a lovely stay in a 6 unit cottage with ocean view. We left the property for dinner elsewhere but returned for some great after dinner live music in the lounge. Love that the pool has adults only for the last hour of the day. Was a little disappointed in the service at the bar when we were asked if we wanted change after providing a $50.00 bill on a $36.00 cheque. Shocked that this is considered appropriate. A little stunned when asked. We found this completely inappropriate.

Ron, the recreation director, was very kind to my kids and made their stay memorable and enjoyable. You can tell he loves what he does. The morning desk staf were also very pleasant and nice. The evening check in staff however, seemed a bit tired and disengaged.

As usual, the staff and location were wonderful. The only drawback was the food in the restaurant. Having stayed at White Point multiple times, I can say this time the food was not up to previous standards. Others in the restaurant did not seem to be overwhelmingly happy either. The service took over an hour to get our meal and then my fish and chips were soggy, and the chicken fingers were overcooked. We did not complain or send it back as we were very hungry by the time the meal came. All in all, the rest of the stay, was as usual wonderful. Cottage, beach and bunnies met our expectations again.

I’ve been coming to this resort for years. I know that the minimum stay is 2 nights when you book directly with the resort. Hotels.com amazingly now allows 1 night stays so I can go for 1 night when visiting home. When I called to mention my dog will be coming (extra charge and certain rooms), the receptionist was kind of rude as in “oh you’re only here one night”. When we went to the restaurant, we specifically ordered the $5 happy hour wine. When we got the bill, since we ordered Pinot Grigio, the price per glass was $18. When I specified we asked for the happy hour price, we were confronted with “oh well that’s just Sauvignon Blanc”. No one said that. We ended up paying the full bill to avoid a problem. Three times the price. We’ve enjoyed the resort many times but this time really showed us that it’s used to certain clientele.

It’s one of our favourite places to stay due to the gorgeous view and ocean access. Being able to bring our dog is another reason we choose to stay there. Our cabin was rustic, as advertised. Staff were very friendly. Like everywhere these days, it seems they could have used more staff in the dining room as it took a long time to get served and get our order as we chose to order off the menu rather than do the buffet. There are lots of options for things to do, especially if you have children. We would definitely recommend it as a family destination.
