Our stay at Comfort Inn Morelia was acceptable until one night when I suddenly started experiencing intense itching all over my body. I eventually realized that the room had bed bugs. The hotel staff moved me to another room, which I appreciate, but after an experience like that, I obviously could no longer sleep with the same peace of mind. Unfortunately, the following day, one of my companions found a cockroach in their coffee, which only added to our concerns about the hotel's cleanliness and hygiene. What was particularly concerning was that the staff did not seem surprised by either situation. This gave us the impression that these issues may not be isolated incidents. I believe the hotel needs a thorough pest control treatment and a much closer review of its cleanliness standards. The staff was courteous in moving me to another room, but overall, these experiences significantly affected our stay and our confidence in the hotel's hygiene.
