Für meine Mountainbike-Tage das ideale Hotel. Ganz nahe beim Bahnhof Brig. Nachts fein ruhig zum Schlafen. Zimmer war auch an diesen heissen Tagen überraschend kühl, da auf die Schattenseite des Hotels gelegen. Die Einrichtung ist insgesamt etwas alt, aber sauber und freundlich. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Our train to Zermatt was cancelled due to landslide so we had to overnight in Brig and this came up with good reviews. We checked in right before the staff was ready to leave and she was trying to handle other travelers looking for rooms. Kudos to her for being so nice when it was leaving time. We got off the elevator and the halls were dated, dark and a musty smell so we weren't feeling good. Once we got to the room, we were pleasantly surprised with the modern look, nice needs, clean and satisfied for the three of us. It was hot so we opened the doors, overlooking the train station and already saw 2 fans, which we used to draw in the cool air. Swiss air conditioning at it's best! We stayed in a 5-start in Lucerne that wasn't close to being this cool. We were given a restaurant recommendation, which was spot-on good Italian food. Minor issues ... Shower leaked, but a towel helped keep the mess to a minimum (room 31) and didn't have paper/pen to advise the property. And the one fan was really noisy ... Again, we were thrilled to have it but did have to turn it off or throw it off the balcony to stop the squeak.

有料で付けられるモーニングはとても良く、お得だと思う。1人6フラン。ベッドもとても寝やすい。布団が薄くて不安になるが、特に問題なかった。夏だからなのでしょうか。ただ、エアコンがないので、問題なく過ごせるが少しだけ暑い。

Our room had a stunning view of the mountains and it was bright and airy. The hotel is located right in front of the train station which is really convenient. However, one of the shower door was missing which caused the bathroom to be flooded after we showered. Apart from that, it was a good stay overall!

Zimmer war sehr klein, doch preisgünstig und letztes ver-fügbares Zimmer. Service zuvorkommend, freundliches Personal. Räumlichkeiten renovationsbedürftig, doch sehr sauber, was ich sehr schätzte. Besonders willkommen waren der kleine Kühlschrank im Zimmer + Teekocher. Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm; ich kann es bestens empfehlen.

The inside was better than we expected from the outside: rooms were large, clean, well equipped, and comfortable. Right across from the train station & easy walking to restaurants and grocery stores. Close to the Old Town for a nice walk after supper. Definitely recommend!

Das Hotel besticht durch eine sehr gute Lage, die Zimmer sind sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet, man fühlt sich wohl, natürlich kann man keinen Luxus erwarten. Die Dame am Empfang war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war ganz in Ordnung. Alles in allem passen Preis/ Leistung gut zueinander.

Cependant il etait dificile de dormir avec un robinet qui coule dans la salle de bain. Petit dejeuner trop tard a 07h00. Hotel budget ordinaire.

Room was near the street. Very loud and hard to sleep. Breakfast was very basic and no one around to help or explain what things were. Plus it’s an expensive for what they serve. Would not stay here again

Amazing location. 3 min walk to station. The lady at the reception was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Family room was spacious. The hotel looks tired but happy overall!

Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen, sauber und die Mitarbeiter sind super Nett! Die Mattratze war jedoch weicher als das Kopfkissen. Ich wiege 70kg und hatte die Mattratze links und rechts von mir bündig zum Bauch. Zum Glück war ich nur zwei Nächte dort, sonst müsste ich zum Chiropraktiker.

We were on a train to stay at this hotel; however, we arrived in Milan, Italy on a train and got stuck at the train station as there was a train strike on this day and our departure train to Brig was cancelled. We were not able to get on a train to Brig but they still charged us for the stay stating we had to cancel 3 days in advance. This was not our fault and we feel they should be more flexible due to this being the fault of the train personnel going on strike and shutting down trains. We had to unexpectedly find and pay for another hotel in a different town. Beware of their inflexible policy!

First of all, the location is great because it is located in front of Breg station (just 2min on foot). Secondly staff services are excellent. We realized that I left the wallet in the hotel room after checkout but the woman staff accepted us so kindly even though early morning. I can’t say thanks enough. Recommend to stay here!

Cependant il etait dificile de dormir avec un robinet qui coule dans la salle de bain. Petit dejeuner trop tard a 07h00. Hotel budget ordinaire.

Our train to Zermatt was cancelled due to landslide so we had to overnight in Brig and this came up with good reviews. We checked in right before the staff was ready to leave and she was trying to handle other travelers looking for rooms. Kudos to her for being so nice when it was leaving time. We got off the elevator and the halls were dated, dark and a musty smell so we weren't feeling good. Once we got to the room, we were pleasantly surprised with the modern look, nice needs, clean and satisfied for the three of us. It was hot so we opened the doors, overlooking the train station and already saw 2 fans, which we used to draw in the cool air. Swiss air conditioning at it's best! We stayed in a 5-start in Lucerne that wasn't close to being this cool. We were given a restaurant recommendation, which was spot-on good Italian food. Minor issues ... Shower leaked, but a towel helped keep the mess to a minimum (room 31) and didn't have paper/pen to advise the property. And the one fan was really noisy ... Again, we were thrilled to have it but did have to turn it off or throw it off the balcony to stop the squeak.

The inside was better than we expected from the outside: rooms were large, clean, well equipped, and comfortable. Right across from the train station & easy walking to restaurants and grocery stores. Close to the Old Town for a nice walk after supper. Definitely recommend!

Für meine Mountainbike-Tage das ideale Hotel. Ganz nahe beim Bahnhof Brig. Nachts fein ruhig zum Schlafen. Zimmer war auch an diesen heissen Tagen überraschend kühl, da auf die Schattenseite des Hotels gelegen. Die Einrichtung ist insgesamt etwas alt, aber sauber und freundlich. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Das Hotel besticht durch eine sehr gute Lage, die Zimmer sind sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet, man fühlt sich wohl, natürlich kann man keinen Luxus erwarten. Die Dame am Empfang war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war ganz in Ordnung. Alles in allem passen Preis/ Leistung gut zueinander.

有料で付けられるモーニングはとても良く、お得だと思う。1人6フラン。ベッドもとても寝やすい。布団が薄くて不安になるが、特に問題なかった。夏だからなのでしょうか。ただ、エアコンがないので、問題なく過ごせるが少しだけ暑い。

Old rustic charming hotel with breakfast lounge …..good value for money and clean room. We came in summer with ongoing heatwave so the rooms were warm/hot but hotel had provided fan when we arrived which was thoughtful of them Hotels /apartment in Switzerland generally don’t have AC but the staff was polite and helpful Recommend this hotel and it is located close to Brig station so can be noisy earlier in the morning
